Overview of the layout for wooden coaster "Redstripe".. and is of course named after the beer!

A little "backstage" area behind the transfer track shed.

WOW I LOVE THIS GAME!
I haven't played this sort of game since the rct2 era watching fluxtrance doing some incredible stuff.
But then I saw this game and the creations from silvarret and figured that this might be a game for me.
So I started doing some Six Flags stuff (Mostly DC Comics) because I've never been to one and wanted to be able to visit one

But after a while I found these guys mb and n7 doing some crazy stuff in some videos on the youtubes. That stuff blew my mind. So I started to think about what these guys were doing with all the scale and the amazing detail work and why I was so pumped about it. And it all made sense... Because realism!! It felt like a real park! That's what I wanted to create! And this community on sgw is like gas on the fire for my inspiration so a lot of the stuff I'll create will be inspired by all of you on this website.. By the way, Peony Park is dope!

Loads of work has been made!
Well not in the park but in the restaurant I'm working in.. But I did do some stuff in White Oak Gardens, mostly small detail stuff.

I created billboards, lamps (inspired by silvarret) some sewer drains that are now in scale (I think? R-Furz are they? )

A new coaster sign that I'm still not sure if I like more than the in-game one I had before.

Here's an overview of the park so far ^

secksy details on the billboards for realistic purpose   :shifty:

Liking the layout of the entrance area.  Some multi story buildings might help though!

some sewer drains that are now in scale (I think? R-Furz are they?)

Oh, I was summoned, I missed that, sorry. Yes they are perfect now. ;)

I love the tags and the Coke billboard as a whole, and I definitely like the new Redstripe sign better. It is amazingly made.
Overall the details are really neat, especially the backstage area inside the wooden coaster and the electrical cabinets.

Keep it up, and this park will get the recognition it deserves.

I love the 'undesigned' parts in your park, like the pretzel/popcorn stand, or the backstage area between the coastertracks. It helps so much to sell te realness of White Oak Gardens. I'm curious for the next update!

Urbanized. I can't remember from where I got it though. But probably from dafont or something like that?

I have one from there that I will use on other stuff called urban hook upz. but that one don't have the dripping style.

I'm not dead! Just busy.. But I have started on the next area after the train bridge. It is still WIP but the café and the family coaster layout is done. Coaster is the same as Kvasten @ Gröna Lund Sweden.

Custom supported over the plaza

I had an idéa.. didn't work. but ima keep it

like small rockwork/gravel is really common in those areas in Sweden. So I wanted to have that but all rocks are to big and if i would sink them and add more rocks it would be way to many pieces. Well see when I'm finished with the park how it runs.

That coaster station is fantastic, awesome work.

Thank you. The coaster is passing trough the roof just like the one in Gröna Lund (Kvasten). But the station itself is faar from finished. That is just so I know roughly where to put walls etc.

Not really an update but..

I just wanted to show the park in another light, and also I wanted to big up RubleTrillions midwaygames.

Phase 2 WIP in the background

Re-colored the coaster and finished the restrooms
This also showes some of the midwaygames RubleTrillions has built.. Stunning stuff, hope he doesn't mind me use it

Finished the Haunted Mansions front side and sign.

I always build my log flumes with alot of nature around it.. Wanted to change that and go for a more "booring" style like this.

A great little park! Those custom supports are really awesome. I didn't think custom supports could look that cool! They are amazing.

I can't wait to see how this grows

Thanks, yeah they took way longer than I thought they would to make but I am very happy how they turned out.

I think I'm in love with your log flume. I don't know how I missed that update, but I'm getting so much old park nostalgia right now. The paths seem a bit dark but other than that the lighting is phenomenal too!

« Reply #26 on: November 29, 2017, 06:51 PM »
After a little longer than 2 months in this great forum it is time for White Oak's 5th update.

First off, I changed the colors of the family coaster in the haunted house plaza, and also swapped my custom picnic tables for the new ingame ones..

(re-)Started the backstage areas around the plaza, It was finished but got lost due to a crash

remade my custom hoppers. Also gave them a nice home with some cover...OH and staff! they have staff now thanks to the latest update!  :w00t:

Here is a Lemonade stand next to the bridge dividing Phase 1 area and 2. Was planning to use Rudi's golf cars, but the scale was a little bit to big for my park so I had to make my own, they are a little bit inspired by Rudi's cars of course.

But where most focus have been is the nature, I love when the nature looks good and somewhat realistic. What do you guys think?

Overview of the area I've been working in last week.

Twepee loves night shots..

In the next episode of AMC's The Walking Dead...

So I started the game again today after 5 years.. and I built a kiddie coaster called slimer  ;D

From outside

Another angle

Simple

Not the most expensive theme, simple and nice

"Hey, I found a ghostbuster DLC"

Fries, lake and cattle pen

So last time I played this game there was no toolmakers kit.. but damn it made this game so much better! I have a swan now!

I also have a fountain.. because i kidde coaster needs that

Alright that's Slimer folks!

See you again in 5 years!
