Serafina Point

Based on the many fishing villages based around the great depths of the seas, comes Serafina Point a vivid village based around it's productive fishing economy and spectacular architecture. This new park is created to help create a vivid representation of fishing village who has a successful economy yet an unfortunate visit from uncertain pirates who drift from the seven seas.

(Out of character: This park is inspired by the great works of FD7 & also of CD5)

Well, let me introduce myself I am part of the point's marketing team while also being a huge fan of the park. Though, let me say this park shall go a long way winding through the many adventures it embarks.

You start in the park while drifting through the fishing village, filled with markets, and vivid colors to show the wealthiness and high honor of the village of Serafina. High above the village, is the log ride which provides thrill and a soaking for uncertain victims. At the bottom, you can seea a village water source which is the meeting place to gather water for the buildings and the families who live through them.

Here is a another picture of the village, and you can see the detail that the villages presented through out the architecture of their buildings. Here is also a little lagoon which provides reflections of the buildings.

Well, keep that over your heads and please comment regarding the village of Serafina Point.

You do a fantastic job at using bright colors, my parks are very bland.  Can't wait to see more!

That's a bright park, Orez!  I'm not sure what I think yet, as I've only seen 3 screens.  It has potential, though, which is always good!  Don't forget, sometimes the 'bland' earthy colors liven up your bright colors even more...don't want to look like a box of crayons threw up on your park. Oo, nice work! Love the first pic, one of the few theme parks that actually looks like a theme park! Just throw away the RCT3 background and it's perfect Tongue !

So this is where all your colourful pictures are from.

I really like the mix of the bit old fashioned looking log flume and the über-coloured tropical looking buildings. Keep this style!

Looks like my sort of work with the bright colors, but its a good start! I would try to tone some colors down a bit and replace them with natural colors.

Hehe, thanks for getting inspired by my park. I can't really see much of my park in this, but if you take a closer look, you could find some similarities. e.g. you stick to a few CS sets, just like me, and of course, the colors! I love those colors! They make the park look awesome and playful.

Thank you to all, for the nice comments. And regarding the "too bright and vivid comments", well if you read the story this is a wealthy fishing village who shines above all and the vividness represents there uniqueness.
------

Hello, again. I was at the park during nighttime, and found some great opportunities for some spectacular night shots. Well, hopefully with these shot, they will encourage you to visit the park soon!

As I entered the park, I am brought into the village with overflowing gardens and lamps which guide the way.

Past under the welcoming arch, I enter the village with guiding colors and inspirational architecture.

Then, I walked to the Seastar Spinner that is in the foreground of the picture, which is a twirling good time for children. Though, I've been told lighting hasn't been added to the coaster in the background.

This was a picture captured from and upper part of building and you can see the log flume, and the guiding shine of the lighthouse.

Well, goodbye and I hope you enjoyed this update brought to you by the marketing team at Serafina Point.

Comments Appreciated!

Wow Orez, I actually really like the vivid colour arrangement! Usually it would make it look terribly unrealistic, but in this case you have pulled it off very nicely!

I'm also a big fan of the architectural style - it's very fitting. Great work, I'm looking forward to see this develop!

ooh... pretty colors.

haha... anyway, it looks very nice. You have pulled off, as chrisy said, the unrealistic lighting. You did it perfectly so that it is just beautiful, not unreal.

Great village. I really love it. It is so vibrant and beautiful. I really like the brightness of the village. It really stands out. The log flume is very nice. I really like the supports, and the layout looks good too. I will be checking back here.

I like the way you're trying to mix sets, but I'm not sure they all go well together.  Is this fishing village supposed to span numerous different eras/styles?  The colors don't bother me, so much, after all, but the way the sets are mixed...I think I have to look at it some more to really get a grasp on what I think, haha.
