Hello everyone! Because there has been a big exodus from Atari to here, I thought I'd begin updating my parks here again too.
I'll begin with showing some shots from the park that are already posted at Atari.
For full story and all the pics click on this link.
Note that I'm using old pics. Some things have been changed.
This is the entrance to the park.
The park has got a diagonal main street.
The interior of the Italian restaurant.
The park features a giant wheel called Solar Wheel.
A night shot.
Another shot of Solar Wheel
After the mainstreet there's a boardwalk. (the roof of the building on the left has already been changed)
The first part of the mainstreet at night.
An overview of the mainstreet and boardwalk.
Some toilets.
The second part of the boardwalk. As you can see there's a splash ride called 'Splash'.
Splash!
The darkride part of Splash!
An overview of the park at night as seen from Splash!
The boardwalk as seen from Splash!
Splash!
This is the last ride in the park, Octopus.
See ya soon!

! Masked has said it very well, I've always been inspired by your awesome buildings and attention to detail! I just never saw how no one else wanted to respond to your parks. You are seriously one of the best builders and park makers on these forums, and I hope to see this be more successful over here!

Bloody hell, this is fantastic.
That is really some view you get of the lakeside just after the plunge on Splash - it's gorgeous! Thanks a ton for sharing, this park is particularly captivating! The images are sharp and attractive, the architecture is unusual and captures that tropical feel, and the fountains and foliage really brighten up. Fantastic work.

This is fantastic!
THe architecture is wonderful too!
However, there are some name problems.
"Lake Horseshoe" and "Tropical Adventure" simply do not fit together.
Lake Horseshoe sounds like some wilderness area in Canada.....
Pretend this is an awsome sig that so awesome you cant believe it.

Thank you! Yeah, I know I have a name problem... But, the problem you stated isn't really something bad I think: Lake Horseshoe comes from my previous park: Lake Horseshoe Amusement park, which was located near Memphis, near a horseshoe bend. I thought I'd take the part Lake Horseshoe and put something behind it, it's just like a brand name.

Thanks! Hehe, yeah, I hope I'll be able to update this more frequently too. I'm afraid you'll have to wait a while, because of that big ride coming up. I'm working on multiple projects in the park though, to be able to keep the flow of updates going. Ah well, I didn't really have that much of a lack of replies on Atari (although the last few updates got a bit less responses than expected) But, I quit updating my parks over here at SGW as no one seemed to response, and almost nobody viewed my parks. For example: on Atari I got about 300 views per update, average. Over here it was about 20-40 views. At a Dutch site, which is much smaller I'm getting almost 200 views per update!

Update 15: 01-28-10
Hello everyone! While I’ve been working on my big project, I’ve also been working on this, to keep a small stream of updates going. So, here is it: the Coconut Stadium!
The entrance to the stadium. This path goes around the whole, half-circle stadium.
In the spring there will be two kinds of shows: an orca show and a fireworks show.
A night shot.
Let’s go inside. As you can see the stadium is partially dug out.
Ah, you can see Solar Wheel in the background!
Night shot!
Another night shot!
I can’t show you more of the stadium (the podium) because I’ll need Shy’s MS6 for it, plus I’ll need to work a bit more on it. I hope he’ll release it soon.
After that I hope I’ll be able to post a teaser of my big ride.
See ya soon!

The atmosphere in this park is amazing. It truly lives up to it's name.
All the aspects of designing a park, such as building rides, restaurants, theming of buildings and facilities for guests, are all equally represented and executed in this park. I really can't say that your lacking skills, because you seem to be good at everything!
Btw, kudos for you for trying a diagonal main street area. It looks great!
Great job on this one! Keep it up, 'cause I'm curious to see what's coming next.

Thank you very much! Yeah, I wanted something special for this park. I saw that there were a few diagonal CS sets and some buildings were already built (half) diagonal. So, I wanted to try a diagonal main street. I think it came out pretty well. I only had a lack of diagonal windows. Now there have been released two new sets with diagonal windows. Those are good, but they don't fit the mainstreet.

Thank you very much Leon. Well, thanks for the Dutch compliment, but there are a lot of Dutchies that are as good/better than me. for example Stevis. And maybe you can't really compare my building style with other Dutchie's building styles: my building style is very American, and well, Dutchies' building style is Dutch/European, a bit more realistic in layout etc.

Update 16: 02-09-10
Hello everyone! Today I’ll show you the stage of the stadium.
Ah there you can see it!
This stadium will host shows with orcas, fireworks, concerts, announcements by FD7 Amusement, normal shows, just really anything can be hosted in here!
Let’s have a look at some buildings invidually.
Interior :p
This billboard will be replaced when shows are displayed (I couldn’t find a diagonal window that fits here, I wanted to use Shy’s MS6’s windows, but those were placed too low).
This building has also got an interior.
The stage as seen from the seats.
At night.
Overview. You can see the orca basin on the right, I might theme that after my big project.
Next time I’ll show you a teaser of the big project.
See ya soon!

I didn't know you suddenly started updating here, it's that I suddenly saw a mention about it in the I-search thread on atari. Anyway, it's looking great. The angles you've took the pics from removed almost all the criticism I had about it. Except for the interiorshot with the reflecting wall and the mix of steel and wood on the most left building.
I have just one question: When can we expect a pov?

This is such a cool looking park - your architecture is unique, your flair for efficient path layout is evident, the way you layer scenery is just fantastic and your rides are lots of fun. I cannot think of another park when I hear the word "tropical" anymore. You're pretty much the definition of it!
Awesome stage (though I do agree with Dutcher on the rustic wood/steel mix) - you really get the feeling that the park will be putting on some sort of related show.

Cool! I really like the theming and placement of this park, it is very subtle with the ferris wheel being the centerpiece of the park, I like it! after this park starts growing, could we be seeing a drop tower or an observation tower?

Wow, this has come a long way since I last saw it! I really need to pay more attention to the parks section. The Orca show looks great, and not to intrusive on the architecture.
Also, nice job with the anti-generic tropical theme... You've taken those overused roof tiles, and instead of taking the easy way out with clapboard walls, you've mixed them with interesting walls and details to make it much more unique.
The new section looks great from that picture!

Update 17: 12-13-09
[/b]
Hello everyone! Today FD7 Amusement announced that they are going to work with the Dutch Efteling to make their most important ride. It’s going to be a Flying Dutchman ride.
Quote from: FD7 Amusement
We are glad to announce that we will be working together with the Efteling to make a big ride, based on their Vliegende Hollander. Because our name is Flying Dutchman 7 Amusement, we decided to make a Flying Dutchman because it really fits our company (name). Our Flying Dutchman will be different from the one in the Efteling in many ways. In the Efteling you follow the same way as the real Flying Dutchman made, in our ride you will BE the Flying Dutchman.
We will build a whole Flying Dutchman plaza in which you can experience flying, water, the Netherlands and South Africa.
The last weeks we noticed that the build of the water park part of our park is far behind schedule. Therefore, we’ve decided to open the park without water park in our first season. This means that we’ll be able to open our park next year. The water park will follow two years later.
Thanks
Hmm… If you’d ask me I’d say that they are opening the park one year earlier to generate some more money… Ah well, I’m not the one who’s the boss in this company…
For those of you who don’t know the story of the Flying Dutchman here is the story:
On Easter Monday 1676 captain Willem van der Decken set sail to the Dutch colony of East India (Indonesia). He was one of the captains of the VOC, the famous Dutch company that sailed to their colonies in the east to get valuable goods like pepper. Before that Monday, there had been a big storm in the Table bay in South Africa. But, Willem van der Decken desperately wanted to set sail, even though there was a myth that said that you should never set sail on Easter Monday. He said: “I WILL round this Cape even if I have to keep sailing until doomsday!” But, because he did set sail, he had to go through the huge storm.
But, suddenly, the storm stopped. The devil appeared and said: “You will sail until doomsday!” So he did: His crew died, but he kept sailing on the seas around Cape Town for ever.
FD7 Amusement has finally allowed me to post these pictures.
The entrance to Flying Dutchman plaza.
Let’s start off with a picture of the boardwalk. You can see that it consists of many Dutch buildings. The boardwalk is inspirited by the 17th century Amsterdam.
Here’s the entrance to the queue to the ride.
After some bends you go into this building to walk through Willem van der Decken’s house. I’ll show you the interior later, when I start with the whole queue (yes it’s big).
Apparently he wasn’t the richest guy in the city…
This is a toilet building.
On the building on the right is a billboard with ‘Te Koop’ on it, which is Dutch for: ‘for sale’. That’s the reason why the building looks so deserted.
The white building on the left is a small shop.
It’s called ‘Vishandelaer van der Broeck’ and it sells fish!
Now some night shots!
Next update I’ll show you the second part of the boardwalk.
See ya soon!

Ooo! This area gives off a very eerie ambience, and that's why I love it! It's very different from the bright, cheerful other section of the park. As usual, your buildings are top notch and very detailed. You need to make a tutorial on how to make buildings like yours! I want to learn from the master. ANYWAY, I really want to see more of this section, it looks amazing so far! Especially that 2nd picture, which has great lighting, and that hot air balloon doesn't hurt either
!
Oh, one thing, I'm noticing that you have a tendency to show us more of your buildings than your rides. Not that that's a bad thing, but I really want to see more of what you can do to rides!
I must see MOAR!!1!
