Hello everyone! Because there has been an exodus from Atari to here, I've decided to begin updating my parks at SGW too.
Collinas Del Mediterraneo was the park that Gibbss, Luke and I created for the SS '09. So, everything has been made within 6 weeks and nothing will be changed in the future.
The park is supposed to be Mediterranean, the first part, mainly made by Gibbss is Spanish, the second part is Italian and mainly made by me.
I'll start with showing some old pics of this park. For the whole story and more pics, click this link.

The entrance.

The Spanish entrance plaza.

If you enter this gate, you'll come to another plaza:

The plaza with a sky swat ride called Apalastar.

The queue.

There's one big coaster in the park called Sonoran.

The queue.

The coaster is supposed to be a snake that has destroyed a village.

Picture made by Ranger. I'm sorry I can't make a POV of this because the whole park crashes, I can only show parts of the park. The Spanish shots were all made by Gibbss, The Italian by me.

A small flat ride near Sonoran.

The park also has a water pool complex.

With some great slides.

And a lot of foliage and a lazy river.

If you go through the gate that is situated on the Spanish plaza, you'll go to the Italian part of the park.

The kiddie area contains a few rides and a water battle:

It has also got a kiddie coaster.

vimeo.com/7980221

There's also a huge boardwalk.

The gate building that leads to the boardwalk.

The left part of the boardwalk.

A small street that's connected to the right part of the boardwalk, which I will continue with in the next update.

See ya soon!

^ He doesn't have a beach pool in there. There's just a regular beach with water.

This is still looking great, FD7! You've got such a unique and detailed building style that it's unreal! You include all of the little things that make a large difference, and that really brings this park to life! I hope to see the coming SGW updates!  Grin

Update 16: 01-28-10
[/color]

Hello everyone! Today I’ll show you the second biggest ride from the park: Jupiter’s Revenge. The story goes like this:
You’re an Italian guy. Just like everyone, you go dreaming. You’ve got a quite extraordinary dream: You are placed in the middle of the ancient Rome. But, then Jupiter gets angry and then all the houses are destroyed: the city has become a ghost town (just like Atari :p). But, luckily it was all just a dream.
I hope to get a POV done soon.

This is the entrance building to the ride.

The queue is very detailed: you go through some Italian houses.

An Italian kitchen.

Eventually you’ll come out on this turning table.

Ah, you’re in the ancient Rome now!!!!

Just look at all those houses!

After Jupiter got angry, whole Rome has been destroyed!

Oh, no! Really everything has been destroyed! Rome has become a ghost town!

I wanna get outta here!

Luckily it was all just a dream!

Um… Why would you keep your hands up? This isn’t a coaster!

Next time I’ll show you the restaurant that was built for challenge nr. 1.

See ya soon!

Had actually forgot how perfect this park was Smiley
Your buildings are if not the best - then definitely some of the best ever. Really great and very Mediterrenean feeling - you have done a fantastic job doing everything right.

The only complaint I have is just the you get a few branches in your head during the coaster ride.

I can't say this enough times- the architecture of the park and the layout is amazing!
The ride's theming was wonderful too!
I like how you depicted the destruction of Rome, and then suddenly a bedroom appeared.....
I have to admit, that was kind of random.  Wink
But it fits with the storyline nonetheless.

Thanks! Well, that destruction wasn't real. I have made it a dream because I didn't want to make something that isn't true: I didn't want Rome to really get destructed, because it hasn't in the past. Well, it has, but it wasn't Jupiter who did that, but Nero.

Update 17: 02-09-10

The building at night.

In front of the boardwalk there’s a little boat rental.

This park is just beautiful. I love the buildings and the theme of the park. The overall look of everything seems to fit together very well and not clash. I love the Sky Swat in the middle of the buildings like that, makes it seem much more real. Nice just with guest-ride interaction.

WOW! This is amazing! I've seen this park before but didn't care for it too much (on Atari, and just the first update.) But now, holy crap this is amazing! I love how you made a turn table on the dark ride. I have one planned for my park and didn't even think of that even though my home park's dark ride (Kings Island) has a turn table. This has inspired me so much! Also, the side street alley way with all the lights really does look like Spain or Italy, in fact it looks better than BGE's Italy for sure!

Thanks! Yeah? Oh, yes, you could only see two of them in the POV, the others are placed behind the cars. The idea was that the people who died there were still swerving around in Rome.

Thanks! Yeah, the tower may be a bit overthemed in comparisson to the diagonal wall, but Sam and I both liked it this way, so we kept it this way.

BGE's Italy? I can't remember that one... BGE stands for?
