New Changes: RCT3 Exchange & No Limits Board

Dear SGW Members,

The BoD has decided, in order to help make navigation easier, to move the RCT3 Exchange to the front of the forums page, thus making it easier to access and see when an update is available.

In addition, a new board has been added to the Other Games board.  We now have a board dedicated to No Limits projects.  We hope you all enjoy this board and take advantage of it!  NoLimits is an amazing program, and it would be nice to see a thriving board full of fantastic coasters.

We're always working to make SGW a better place to visit, so if there's something you notice, please feel free to let us know!  Thanks, and have fun.

New Changes & Additions: Board Descriptions and new Smilies!

Dear SGW Members,

As some of you may have noticed, over the past few weeks, we have slowly been phasing in newly written board desciptions, in all boards except for those of the Community Center, and have recently added some new smilies and edited some others to make them more visually appealing.

Even though these changes are small, and won't be noticed 100% of the time, the BoD feels that it is worth the effort to add and update the content of these forums to keep things fresh, new, and entertaining, regardless of its size or prominence.

So, without further ado, here are the new smilies!

In addition, we've also edited these smilies to remove any fuzzies and "halos" that were around them:

New Addition: Ultimate Profile

Dear SGW Members,

The BOD proud to bring you our newest feature, the Ultimate Profile. This feature gives users the ability to leave comments on another users profile, allows users to add a description of themselves to the page, add buddies and get to their profiles quickly and painlessly, and even display them all in a more ordered layout.

To add a user to your buddy list, you have to go to their profile, and there is now an add friend button. The other user must accept in order for them to show up on your buddy list, unlike before where only the one side could set the buddies. To get to another users profile, you just need to click their username, and it will take you right there. Because of the changes to the buddy system, you will have to add your buddies to your profile again.

If you notice anything wrong, please don't hesitate to leave me, or one of the other BOD members a PM, or maybe even a comment on one of our profiles. Have fun.

Give it a little time, Luigi. You may hate it now, but please keep in mind that any change will take getting used to. This revampment will come in handy to many members - and if you really dislike it, I'm sure you have options (I know you can disable comments, for one thing). Until then, just try to have some fun with it.  Smiley
