I'm glad to see my work may be completed... Just one note: if it is made into an RCT3 CTR, I designed it for peeps to sit with their hands at their sides, NOT holding OTSRs or Lap bars. The other test track CTR had that problem so please make sure it is fixed.... I look forward to more progress soon and if you  are making TT 2.0 in NL2, count me in!!!!

The original model was designed to fit in a 4m space. It actually should be 5, but I did that or people wanting to use it for the guided tour track. I'm making my new TPS version longer and I suggest that the RCT3 one be lengthened as well.

I have an unfortunate announcement to make: when I started this project, I was very hopeful and optimistic about the recreation. As I progressed, however, I began to see why no one has made this ride like this before and finished it - because it's very difficult. Making the sketchup models is no problem and neither is making the track in NoLimits, but getting everything to work right in RCT3 is where the real challenge comes in. I said there was going to be 4 updates and the final release including videos and downloads. I regret to inform you that this is no longer the case. This is my all time favorite ride and I really wanted to see it through after all these years of playing RCT3. Yet, despite my efforts, certain barriers just kept coming about with no way around them. Sideswiper_22 may be still continuing the DLP project of this ride, but my Orlando version and CT are not getting completed.
I truly am sorry, but the CT would not work because the stop and launch allowed only 1 train on the track. The lighting on the ride would require ride event CS that I just can't even begin to figure out how to make because of the CT track piece divisions. However, this is not the end, but only the beginning. I'm trying to learn from this failure to make an even better recreation in Theme Park Studio. I'm beta testing the game so if this ride is not possible in it, I'll be sure to make my voice heard so that it is possible when the game releases in the summer. I have begun extensive research of the ride in a way like never before. I even will be utilizing the google satellite imaging in sketchup to make the building and ride be a perfect 1:1 scale. And don't worry about RCT3 - I may not be the only one to be making this ride.  ;)
See you with the final, FINAL, recreation of RNRC in TPS!!! (And a version is in the works in NL2. Check the NL2 track forums here)

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Nice. I saw the ride up close recently - the outdoor track looks very good so far.

I haven't played RCT3 in a while, but I might test that CTR out since it looks very nice. (And what about the beta of it that some of us were supposed to get?)

I'm sorry, but the CTR never was imported into the game due to issues I encountered when attempting to program it properly. It is being converted into a higher poly model for Theme Park Studio. Look forward, not back.

RCT3 has too many constraints. We have to accept that it wasn't meant to do everything we want it to. That is why my projects will be completed in Theme Park Studio.

100% yes.  ;) That last picture is just awesome! The park does look very nice.

THERE'S MY CTR!  ;D Nice work! And you get bonus points for using my CTR!  ;)

I hope that you aren't totally abandoning RCT3 because your work is always great. I am getting the TPS Platinum, but I don't plan on totally giving up RCT3 (at least not for the foreseeable future, maybe never) as things made in RCT3 can give added inspiration for TPS.
I'm sorry, but RCT3 custom content making is just so long and tedious. All for a game where I can't easily make animated cars, peeps fit said cars or program links properly.
^How about Cinipae's Boomerang & Arrow Corkscrew, and Francescoaster's DLC?
PM me the track names and sections for each and I certainly will.

Can I put the car on the in-game corkscrew coaster track for you?
Sure! Just make sure to set the no children flag on because they are too small to fit in my CTR.
This CTR will also come on Coaster_Inc's new Vortex CT! If anyone wants it on any other CTs such as any of the classsic corkscrews, boomerangs or DLCs, let me know.  ;)

Well, TCM has generously agreed to assist me there so my final CTR can be truly awesome!  ;) I'd like to leave RCT3 with my best CTR yet. (Obligatory Snowman  :) )

Since TPS is coming out, I have decided to cancel most of my RCT3 projects that were left unfinished. TPS is better in most every way possible. For example, it takes 4x longer to make a good looking path in RCT3 than in TPS. (RCT3 has paths, then path covers, then path edges, then path fences all to be placed separately.)
Thus, it is unlikely that I will ever make any more RCT3 CTRs after this. So here it is: my final RCT3 CTR

Much better!  :)

Will you make opening doors on the outside at each station? One's that can fit in most door ways so it can be synchronized perfectly?

How ironic. I was working on this train and never finished, TCM was working on this train and never finished and now the only other people making it might not finish.  ;D  I think this train is better made in TPS. Well, that's what I'm going to do anyway. TPS allows you to mix and match car parts so you could easily add the wingrider seats to the invert. I don't know how you'd make the stems holding the seats to the base, but I'm sure there will be a way.

When I refer to the RCT3 community I mean in the sense of playing/working on RCT3 or posting on RCT3 topics.

Back on topic: I'm really kind of done with RCT3. You work forever on custom content only to discover some impossible limit of the game preventing you from creating your perfect ride. Especially when that ride is a full out themed attraction. So I'm getting a head start on making CTR models for TPS. All of my parks, rides and other projects will be finished in TPS. Not to mention, in TPS, peeps look real next to your realistic park unlike RCT3 where you had a realistic looking park with Polygonal Peeps  who  look like they belong in Poly-World. Ironic considering they don't like that much poly.  ;D  Anyways, I'm thinking about getting a Winchester video out as a final good-bye to the RCT3 community. It's been fun, but new horizons await.  :)  And as I've said many times before about TPS:
"There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow...."  ;)

Maybe. Circumstances with my computer have changed.... I may reconsider. However, I don't guarantee anything because TPS beta is on its way and this slot car is currently being converted into a higher detail/poly model and more accurately dimensioned model for TPS.

WHO POSTED THAT!?!?!? I DO NOT give anyone permission to use that track. I will request that everyone remove it at once from their games/videos/pictures. I designed that track and have the right to request that no one use my track. I don't know who uploaded that file, but they are not allowed to do that.

Surprise!  :D This CTR is coming to TPS. I'm starting to extend the front hood and mid section so it is more accurately scaled. I'm also starting on increasing the poly/detail. I will post pictures soon either here or on the TPS forums. ;)

Sorry, Winchester is a custom design and won't be released. I have released the generic millennium flyer CTR though.

Seeing as to how people like this project so much, I'll look into finishing it before the TPs beta. I'll make one with underside wheels (for slot track) and one without the underside wheels (for RR guided tour) and I can post a sketchup file for download with the slot car track profile so anyone can make a slot car CT! :D can anyone help animate the wheels? If so, PM so this can be finishe and I can make radiator springs as well.

Looks great. :D

It's good to see you've learnt something from the community :)

But why should this thread be closed? It should be moved to the rides board, yes, but why would you like to start over again. There isn't really that much flaming here and nobody has talked in a really bad manner here...
Forums are made to raise discussions. If you don't like (the sometimes harsh) criticism, don't post your work.

I'm looking forward to how this ride translates to RCT.
I made it to show a creative idea and all it did was spark arguments. I tried to advertise it as a creative new idea, but that was misinterpreted and lead to more arguments. I think if people don't care for it, then why post it? That's why I want this thread closed. Besides, I'll still post updates, just not in SGW. And not to mention, I love my West Point ride ideas so much that I'll be making West Point in TPS! :D
RCT3 is only the begining for me. ;)  "There's a great big beautiful tomorrow..."

RCT3 CT/CTR/CFR / Re: TheCodeMaster's CTRs: Tiny Skyrush Update!
« on: October 19, 2013, 06:54 PM »
do you want a tiny Skyrush? I can do that! Just picture it now!:

"TheCodeMaster's 3ft tall Skyrush Mod"
3'? Why not 2'? Or how's about 1'? Better yet, just make a 1:64 scale model. That should be fun. I'll download it.  Put it in my park next to the toy train running in the gift shop. Make it the coolest new toy on the market. It'll be the hit of  the upcoming holiday season. I can see it now!  ;)

(Why is coaster dynamix disapearing? Why?  :'( )
Correction: This is only the begining!  :D

I apologize if anything I said seemed "arogant." I am not trying to say anything of the sort. I am pleased with how it is coming along and intended my comments to reflect as such.
Now then, let's all put the past behind us and move forward.
All further updates will be on RT3.
Moderator, please close this thread.  :(

I'd rather have a CTR with accurate dimensions than one that peeps can look pretty in.
This CTR isn't getting released. Neither is any of this stuff. It is for a park I'm making. As for the corkscrew, it is smooth. I made a special element. It's up for download here:;sa=view;down=64
As I've said before, keep posts about the coaster. If you have any personal issues, take them up in the PMs.
I am trying to make a unique ride. I don't see other people making things like this, so I thought I could give it a try. It seems that since it is NL and supported by coaster_inc and the rest of the RealTycoon3 team, that sparks argument after argument. I'm not here to argue about NL tracks or the RT3 team. It's just a game. It isn't a crisis if someone uses an NL track. Especially if it's not getting released. Please post constructive criticism.
This took a lot of time and effort. I put a lot of thought into the design, the theme, the story, and every aspect of this ride. It even has a custom soundtrack written by MrCobra. I know this isn't the normal ride people are used to. However, sometimes, doing something differently can be a good thing. People thought Disneyland would fail because it was too different than the normal amusment park. All of that theming cost too much money and would generate none, so it was doomed to fail. But it didn't fail. Now Disney parks are all over the globe and are the most successful theme parks in history. Let's keep this in perspective. It's just a game. Soon TPS will come and RCT3 will be a thing of the past for many people.
