RCT3 General Discussion / Uploading pictures to my posts
« Last post by Adenaline-Coasters on January 09, 2016, 11:41 AM »
Hi All, Ive started a new thread over at the parks section but I'm struggling to upload my pics. Ive followed the tutorial on here using photobucket to host the images, followed the procedure exactly yet no uploads. Today I've tried again using imgur instead but to no avail. Help would be greatly appreciated. I'm not sure if I've started this post in the right place so I'm sorry if its not.

Regards

Did you make those Arrow supports at the top of the ride or did you find a CS pack that had them? I would like to know if it was the latter. Also, great job so far! I love the color scheme(Maybe change the car colors to a different color, like yellow or something) and the layout looks nice! Great job! :)

Elizabeth, have you tried RazerGameBooster?  I've downloaded it but haven't had the time to try it yet.

Elizabeth, the problem is with Win10, …

I’ve moved from Vista to Windows 7 and feel that was a good choice.  At just about the time I was beginning to wonder if I was missing something not having Windows 10, what with all the hype and Microsoft’s own message in my toolbar constantly suggesting a free upgrade,  I discovered while looking for something else on the internet that many people are in fact downgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 7.  For many, including myself, it seems Windows 8 is being quickly forgotten and is no longer an option.

I was excited to hear that after Windows 10 Microsoft has announced the cessation of further development on their operating system but this intoxicating news has been heavily offset by the one person from whom I have heard that Microsoft will indeed be continuing the development of operating systems but will just no longer be calling them ‘Windows.’

After interest in Windows 8 quickly tapered off, and now with the the current buzzing which is heralding the end of a great deal of the interest in Windows 10, it’s been suggested that Windows 7 is the best thing to happen to the PC since Windows XP.  And to think I almost switched.

….. we can do without Win10 …..

Agreed.

@FlightoAtlantis

You’re very welcome.  I’m glad you’ve got this sorted.

Would be fine for me to help you if needed

Elizabeth, the problem is with Win10, not your park size or anything to do with RCT3.

Briefly, Microscroat included a method (bodge!) to keep many progs open at the same time by compressing them in memory which (you guessed it) uses more memory - lots more! Sometimes disabling 'Prefetch' helps but probably shutting down any and ALL progs other than RCT3 will be necessary (that definitely includes internet access and firewals/antivirus etc.).

Yet again MS has come up with a blinder OS with a built in cripple factor!

I hope this helps but I suspect it may not. Hang in there, a fix will be just around the corner. IMHO we can do without Win10 but SGW and RCT3 would sorely miss Elizabeth.

Back to the original OP, Elizabeth, you didn't mention what version of Windows you're using and if it is 32 or 64 bit. Let's get that right first, it makes a lot of difference. Perhaps you could let us know.

DVD is right, 2.6G in the themed folder is not exceptional today.
