Looks really good so far! I really like the concept that you are going for and look forward to seeing more. Like JB said, I think the string lights have more of a Christmas vibe than a Futuristic one.

I edited the picture for a bit more atmosphere. I will probably use this scene as an outro for my next project. I'm not quite sure yet.

Wow! All of your 'Batavia' images are great but this one looks especially nice. :)  The splashes of moonlight blue and the green palm fronds add contrasting interest to the warm glow of the city. And the overall composition is perfect.
