[REL] Periculum - Final Video! | For StationJimJr
« on: June 21, 2013, 04:00 PM »
Periculum
by zeroG, MaxMagnus, Kevin, RCT D!

Hello dear community,
Today we want to present you our biggest project so far.
Four members of FM-Rides built, created and planned this project since six months. Today you will see the first impressions; the story will follow in the next update.

Parts of the mountain were drowned in fog, the last sunlight abated to massy grey clouds and the town lay dead and grayed on the riversides. Only few noises apart from the rush of the river and the trees were to hear, the silence lay on the landscape like a shroud. The impressions which the king got from the windows of his hall were harrowing and devastating.

The castle throned on the mountain and guarded the town.

The rain ran through the trickles and washed the mud out of the lane.

The massy clouds pressed cumbering on the roofs of the town.

The contorted houses grew in to each other and stole the breath of the town.

The crude cathedral threw long, dark shadows on the hillside of the mountain.

Finally we want to thank some persons who made the project to what it is:
Cheetah,Ynor9
And special thanks to StationJimJr. for his enormous effort and creativity creating CS for this project.

We hope you like this project.
MaxMagnus, Kevin, RCT D!, zeroG

Oh my god... this is incredible! The detail and atmosphere in the buildings is astounding, and the rainy skies really add up to the experience. I like the abandoned feel this place has. I find the name also fits very well, because the area seems quite perilous and dangerous. Great work, looking forward to seeing more.

Periculum | Update no. 1

Periculum
by zeroG, MaxMagnus, Kevin, RCT D!

Today you guys will get a new update ! You'll get the first impressions from the inner work in the project.
The story does not fit with the pictures, but the pictures show you the progress.

The big rain drops blended dull in the dark voice of the king: “ I convict you, Arthur Waldesklan, to death cause of exertion of dark arts, the wizardry and the desecration of corpses. With these words he concluded his monologue before he got hanged, but his voice resounded a few moments through the walls of the town: “If my unjust death gets his 13th anniversary the justice will triumph and your eyes will open soon, if you see how worthless your property is when you look face to face to the death.
My word will adhered, when the bell announces the message above the roofs of the town.”

Spoiler (hover to show)

We hop you like the new impressions so good as you liked the first 5 pictures.
If you want to add some criticism or some praise, we'll be very happy.

Holy crap. Amazing detail. One criticism: the logo you guys have designed is beautiful except the font used for "Periculum". The font is very busy and seeing as the name itself is quite odd, doesn't lend itself to easy reading.

That is just amazing. The pictures are really nicely edited, and I especially liked the last picture with the rays of light and light particles. Also, I like that story line. I'm starting to make guesses about what's going to happen in the ride :P

How did I miss this??????? Amazing work as usual!

I actually hate seeing your work, up to the point that I see your creations I always think I'm pretty damn good with RCT3. After seeing your screens I'm kinda like..... back to the drawing board! :p

Seriously though, the little village houses are just perfection!

Like why are you so obsessed with me

Wow... I'm also not sure how I missed this, but it is absolutely stunning, beautiful, incredible.

So many great pictures, and all of them so atmospheric. Really well edited, but it's the scenes themselves that are so good. I love the second to last image the most - the long hallway is so evocative with some really nice lighting. In fact, the lasers and lighting in all of the shots is really well done.

The village and castle area is also really nice, with great new sets from StationJim. I love the level of detail, and it's all so believable, even if I'm not too sure what's happening yet.

Really excited for more, it's a great selection of designers.
