Holy cow, Neitsab, that's some very nifty nested loops there!  It definitely ain't easy to get track elements to line up that well when you have to build from 1 end of the track.

I've staggered back in here and had to look at the 2.5 pages of awesomeness that have accumulated during my recent absence.  Wow, kudos to everybody!  But top honors IMHO go to BBordewyk's showering archer for combining the usual SGW standards of technical brilliance with insider humor.

So yeah, here I am again to lower SGW's standards even more.  I present this humble offering.  It's merely a simple dam over the headwaters of the Little Chunky River in an obscure part of Mississippi but getting this far with it marks a Pyrrhic victory in the unending war with the never-to-be-sufficiently-damned water part of PC's terrain system.

 Neitsab  -

I swear I thought someone posted a photo of the Loch Ness from B.G. Williamsburg. Very cool.

Bullethead - nice work (was going to say "dam" that's nice). Pipes look great sending water off the side.

"Dam" nice of you to say so :D

Nice Bullethead, your realism always amazes me :D

Thanks but it still needs some work.  Here you see the dam able to handle the 2 extremes, the normal flow before it was built (the existing pipes and SFX) and an extraordinary rain event (the water flowing over the top through the guardrails).  It still needs something to handle the middle ground, the expected occasional flash flood that doesn't overtop the dam.  Probably just some more pipes higher up and as wide as the whole downstream channel.

I hope the duration isn't longer than 2 PC years :D

Thanks, although sorry it hurts ;).  I really should have built the dam before the water tower, so the trucks and cranes could get to the tower site, but....

Bullethead, had to do a double take, thought that was real life.
Corkscrew that looks phenominal
And congrats Coastercad, that's a huge accomplishment. I hope to do that someday.

What a beatuiful chalet themed station! I really like the shop building with its on-ride photo screens and the tshirts! Hopefully we'll see more in the future.
I found some time again and continued my little arabic area. It's slowly growing...

And it got a new coaster as well!

Looking good, Montu and KingSwasi!

I made some bleachers using @Corkscrewloop's much-appreciated beams.  Need to fancy them up a bit still but the concept seems sound ;)

KingSwasi I love all the different levels in that shot and the coaster spoiler...

I've been working on a new park, since I can no longer get into my old one. I am mostly just working on theming the area outside the park first so I don't get too bored at the end to do it  :D

That doesn't really show much but there is fencing and foliage along the road, a flowing river in the background and tunnels for the road to enter the map. The only thing I have done inside the park is work on a hotel that I am not sure I am keeping yet. It is only half finished but I may as well post it up now.

Trying to do piece light buildings but I may have to give up and just make things I like.

Cheers Bullethead! I love the dam you've done above too!

I can't work on the park any more cause I don't have the patience with how slow my pc is running on lowest settings now. It is pretty much done. The only thing I really wanted to do was finishing touches to some curb work and stuff.

I am trying to convince my friend who has a super pc to go in and record me some park/ride footage.

Rode recently a legend a few days ago... amazing that such coaster has already almost 40 years lifespan... Was so thrilled that I had to rebuild it in Planco...

Looks great @corkscrewloop. It looks like the Corkscrew at Alton Towers,  and the one at Flamingoland. Good ol' trusty Vekoma headbangers. Both just nothing more than fond memories now.

I just decided to reanimate this dead old horse and start flogging it again. I don't know how long it'll last this time though :)

@Nemmie, your pic looks amazing! For sure the best looking construction site in Planco! :)

That was built by Vekoma, Arrow never designed a corkscrew like that. Vekoma built a couple of these, another one is at Playland in Vancouver. The corkscrew at Alton towers is the version Arrow mass cloned. (Based upon the original at Knott's Berry Farm now at Silverwood.) Not many of those left either. Side note: Vekoma used Arrow trains for many years until designing their own trains later on. Side side note: There is a really good documentary on YouTube by ACE on Arrow, highly recommended. Part of it tells you about how Vekoma in a way stole Arrow's track.

Sorry, history rant over. :P
