Agree so much. Playing it has such a similar feeling to actually being in a theme park. Can't say RCT3 even did that, for me at least.

Yes! As much as I loved all the previous RCT's and Bullfrogs Theme Park games, none have evoked these kinds of emotions in me. It's heaven.

Some absolutely amazingly beautiful shots here people. The game just pushes you to create like nothing I've known. It's already up there with RCT3 in this aspect, so once all the content starts to be put in, I don't think any of us will close it down and see real people again.

This game's camera movement suuucks. It took me 10 minutes to just be able to position my camera like so...

Still a beautiful game though

You can go into Freelock camera mode, just like RCT3 by hitting "t" on the keyboard. It makes the camera controls almost identical to RCT3 so it then just feels like an old friend.

Wait you can control it from the booth?!
You need to lower your standards cause it's never getting any better than this.

How are you all taking pictures? ALT+Print Screen, as suggested by one of the developers at the Frontier forums, doesn't work for me.

Masked, you can go old style and hit the print screen key, open paint, and hit paste. Save as a jpeg, and you are all set!

I have finally been able to launch the game and let it run for a bit without crashing. However, as soon as I try to add anything (path, ride, scenery) I get a crash. I thin it has to do with my virus (MacAfee) not allowing the program to run, but I've reset it 8 ways from Sunday, and still have issues.

It is beautiful to look at though!

This game is so atmospheric!

can you guys imagine the kinds of things we'll be able to create when we can start digging into the ground and carving out caves for our rides to go through with scenery/structures and ambient lighting?  AH  :scared:

You can be a peep, but is there a way to walk around your park and control the movement? I hope they add billboards, UGC, and custom music on rides and speakers like RCT3. Those three things are necessary to recreate real parks and to add a sense of realism to fictional parks. I want to be able to build a Cedar Fair style park and have haunt scenery and custom built walk through haunt attractions, indoor and outdoor like I can in RCT3. One thing that bugs me is the mouse scrolling, it seems the opposite of RCT3 when you scroll, when you move the mouse right the park scrolls to the left. Is there a way to change that?

Currently the only way to "walk" around is to hit the T key for freelook but it's not really the same thing as you're not glued to the ground and you also speed up fast.  I'm hoping it's something they do add, I can't see why it would be difficult to add a camera that snaps to the ground.

I've already been tinkering with a darkride! This game as such a familiar feel like rct3 but offers much more versatility in terms of rotation / raising / and the different grids you can apply. Frontier really did there research.

Working on, (Or rather. Testing) out a dark ride! Feels exciting! I shall call it Ghost Ship.

Wagibear "It is entirely possible that Atari will attend in a different way than as a exhibitor. Someone may park their van outside the Convention Center entrance with a big Atari RCTw banner draped in the front window.  Or maybe Mattlab will dress in a trenchcoat and approuch anyone with a PRESS badge and whisper  "Psst!  Hey, wanna see a new video game?"... Go into settings, and change mouse control to inverse. Then when you move right, the screen does. Unfortunately, you have to do it each time you start a new game. I'm sure they will get around to fixing this in the future.

I'm still finding my way around the game...not nearly as awesome as some of your guys' stuff!

My first shop ever...teehee.

Built an Arrow Hyper. It turned out much better than my first coaster.

LOVE this game. There's some definite limitations right now, but it's got a LOT going for it.

Wanted to see how far the build tools could be stretched so I decided to make a pirate castle. Finding there are a bunch of limits with the grid system, hopefully it will be improved. Especially the flooring showing through walls, that's a bit annoying.
