Nice! I was thinking that my next building set could be wooden walls but those are exactly what I wanted  :D
Can't wait to see what else will be in this set

the work you are doing for parkitect is just amazing! they really should consider hiring you to provide official sets because basically every set you have done yet are so fundamental for every parkmaker.  :)

The Heavy Beams set. There are 5 different Angled Beams, each numbered after the roof piece whose angle they match (01-04). The 5th Angled Beam is twice the height of #02.

Each Angled Beam comes in 4 types. The first can be stacked to create huge angled beams. "B" has it's bottom corner cut. "T" has it's top corner cut. "TB" has both top and bottom corners cut. This makes them easy to use when creating half-timbered style walls.

There are vertical and horizontal beams to add to the existing windows and doors to make their frames better match the size of the heavy beams.

Here's an example of what you can create, combining Building Sets 1, 2, and 3.

Your sets motivate me to buy Parkitect too. Nice little game, which brings back a lot of memories without using much memory.

This "little" game could eventually rival RCT3 with it's ever growing amount of content and functionality. Add to that, the increasing amount of mods being produced, and this game will become a huge hit.

Wooden Fence Covers

Here's how to create rustic-looking bridges. First, build your bridge with the default path style.

Next, sink the Support Killer piece into the ground to remove the supports.

It can sometimes be a bit tricky, but with a little trial and error, you should be able to remove them all.

Place the Fence Covers on the bridge. You may need to raise the terrain and make it flat for proper alignment.

And there you go. A wooden path cover would be a great way to finish this off. (There just so happens to be a set of these included in this mod. Pics coming later)

There are also Fence Covers for stairs.

The complete set of Fence Cover objects.

While I am excited for all of the wooden fence stuff, I am really excited for those support killers!!!  Awesome work on all of this.  I can't wait for it to be released!

Those support killers are going to be nice, and there's already some beams to make custom supports with, but it would be helpful to have more steel tubes someday.

do those support killers also work for coasters? I suppose it works for steel coasters but not for wooden coaster  supports, right?

Yes they work for coasters. But, to remove all the supports for wooden coasters, you need to raise the Support Killer above the ground and place a few at different heights in order to remove all of the wooden supports.

If you guys like, I could shrink the Support Killer to the size of a spec, so you could use it for wooden coasters.

I do like the fact that they are bigger so they are possible to delete.  Maybe make both?

You can still delete them if I make them REALLY small, it's just a little difficult clicking on them. As for making both, I'm having problems with the coding. I can make one object with a bounding box (needed for the Support Killer) but can't seem to be able to add a second object with a bounding box. I'm still working on it.

Here's the final groups of objects in the Building Set 3

Balustrades and Wooden Plank path covers.

Fancy wooden window frames and door crowns.

Is it possible to make the support killer like all those objects in those sets that were never updated?  Just shadows of their former selves? Ghosts?

And by that I mean opaque and see through but not completely invisible, just enough that you know its there so you can easily delete it when you zoom in?

It might be possible, but I don't know how to do it at this point. I have included 2 versions of the support killer... the one shown above, and a tiny version, which is virtually invisible unless you zoom in REALLY REALLY close.

If/whenever you get around to reimporting this set, I just wanted to mention that from what I've heard it's impossible to mod in objects with a collision (like the support killers) but trees can kill supports when buried underground anyway, so don't bother with trying to put those in the updated version unless they expand modding before you get back to that.

Yes. I figured that much and already decided to leave out the support killer. It didn't work that well anyway.

Is burying trees something new? I don't remember being able to do that in older versions.

Yeah, you can raise/lower them with shift now, and it seems most of them have slightly higher hitboxes than they look.

Woo! Just set 4 and its diagonal roofs left, then I'll have no excuse for not getting back to my projects. As always, I'll let you know if I find any problems.
