This looks absolutely fantastic. Nightshade is such a beautifully laid out coaster with fantastic framing against the path. The scenery interactions are really believable and that ride sign is absolutely excellent.

My only critique would be the location of the initial drop. I don't know how it sits in terms of once the park is expanded more, but currently it's somewhat hidden away from everything else when it should be more of a feature from the path. Again, maybe it is more visible from other areas of the park.

Thanks so much. I went back into the park to look at the drop after what you said. I'd not realised until then that unfortunately, I've literally painted myself into a corner lol. ( I usually have the park perimeter unchecked so you can't see it) Blast Point is an Alpha 1 (so not as big as the release version parks) park so Nightshade's drop is almost right at the back of the park. DOH! Hopefully, the April update will let us transfer our old Alpha 1 parks onto the newer, bigger maps. I really hope they do.
So for now, I'm stuck with it. You can see the entire drop (except the tunnel) from the path near the abandoned house with the smash throughs. You can also see the top of it from the front of Nightshade. So for now, I'm gonna say it's all intentional to give the coaster a feeling of mystery. ;)  It's a bit like Th13teen at Alton Towers. There's one viewing area where you can see the 1st drop and turnaround, but nearly all of the ride is hidden in the woods. And that adds to the anticipation when you ride.

Love the design on that hotel. Interesting and unconventional shape, but executed very well. And the different colors of lights at night in that last shot look great as well! :)

Hi everyone.
After 6 months of no progress, Blast Point Resort is happy to announce it's new area is finally underway.
I'll hopefully get some momentum with this park and not get so distracted all the time with other projects.

Heavy equipment is starting to appear on-site.

And there was a little ground-breaking ceremony before work begins fully.

There's no details released yet, but it's going to change the view from the hotel

I have just come across this park and it's amazing, I love the layout, the scenery but I specially love the hotel, entrance area and builds inside the park. I'm looking forward to seeing more and keep up the good work.

This is the reason I started on the construction set. I hope I can pull off what I have planned.

HA HA. Thanks. I've already improved the JCB Telehandler as it was really bugging me on the 2nd pic in the last update. They'll all be getting a lot of use in this expansion. Hopefully, a bunch of them will be released sometime this week.

Nemmie is the first to create a stop-motion, animated movie with PC. (At least the first I've seen). A simple one, nonetheless, this could lead to a whole new category of PC projects.

Thanks everyone. And Bullethead, that's exactly how I did it. Dead simple, but effective. Hopefully. it won't be so long before the next update.

It's been a long, long time since we've been here. After many side projects, a false start in June and an all consuming Summer Competition park that pretty much kept me engrossed for 5 months, work has finally begun on the new area at Blast Point Resort.

Loads of ground work has been done and concrete channels have started to appear.

No theme has been hinted at yet, but these rapids are going to be fun

The station's foundations are in and the cement is nearly all down for it.

It goes quite near the river separating the hotel from the park. The footers are in for some structure too.

Loving this Nemmie! The presentation of the construction is beautiful. The rapids investment looks very impressive for the park, can't wait to see what theme they choose for it! ;)
