Star Wars Land - Galaxy's Edge (Batuu)
« on: December 05, 2016, 10:03 AM »
Here are a couple shots of this park I'm building.
Working on the main street area (Coruscant) with a Jedi Temple as the park icon. There is a coaster inside the temple.
Planning on adding the following themed areas:
Dagobah
Hoth
Tantooine/Jakku
The Moon of Endor
Naboo
Maybe Mustafar, or locations from Rouge One, or emulate what Disney is doing in the parks.

Here are a few pictures of Coruscant

This is great! It looks so cool.

moving away from the "main street" area, we swing a right and head into Dagobah. This area has a ton of places to eat, drink, and buy stuff. It has many wooded trails and byways. There are 3 flat rides and a log flume in this land as well. here is one of walkways as you leave the street area.

"Dagobah Live" -- I love that!  :)

This thread deserves more comments.  Lots of creative scenery usage and impressive how you've been able to make unrelated scenery items work together to look very Star-Wars-esque.  Maybe some day we'll get some weather options to make these locations look ever more movie-like.

very impressive structures in this park. The Dagoba area looks very overgrown, so I guess you got the right feeling to it. Would love to see more. :)

This is the "Dark Side" corner of this land. A crashed Tie Fighter, a flat ride and a place to get drinks and go to the bathroom.

Wow, that woodwork really is something! Too often with these sci-fi themed parks, PC designers put all eggs in one basket... what I mean is, they place a disproportionate amount of attention on all these inventive structures and contraptions, while neglecting to also add life to the environment, but you've captured everything here. Amazing work!  :)

it wasn't hard to do. I created a main base and then copied and pasted it...then went back and adjusted branches here and there to try to make it look more random and unique.

I really love the environment. It's a sci-FI park that has colour and life. You've used lots of vegetation yet still remained true to the sci-fi theme. Nice one!

Great area, espacially I like the first picture of the last update, the little entrance into that hole is fantastic. The vegetation looks beautiful and the paths are perfectly integrated.

Hi, Wowman.  You know, I think the park looks better from this forum than from the other.  I see things I didn't notice before :)

Er...Yes they do. All screenshots look better posted at SGW than in all other forums. Spread the word! If you want your parks to look better, post them here!  :P
