Wonderful! Yeah it's perfect Hethethe, you need those spots of pure darkness to make you feel disorientated, at least when watching the video, and you definitely accomplish that! Perfect ratio to it all!

I am pleased to release the final video now :)

The ride is a thrilling family coaster (thing space mountain mixed with an underground train), and is themed to a Victoriana sci-find vision of an underground train.

Enjoy!

I started to type "it's Space Mountain meets Metropolis," but then I read your text again and you pretty much already said that.

Entertaining as always, and kudos for preventing me from FF'ing during the lift hill.  That is an accomplishment  :D

Really nice. I thought it was a fun, not too intense, coaster...something that you might find at Universal Studios. Good sound and great lighting too.

Wow! I love the space mountain feel. This attraction is a family attraction, which will be great for getting good numbers in attendance. Lots of scenery within the queue itself is always great for passing the time while waiting for some number of minutes. Amazing work!

Did I hear the classic RCT1/2 train whistle in there? :D As always another fantastic ride from you, like everyone said above, excellent job making it family friendly and keeping the theming.

Yes what a great ride, I love that, the vibe and layout of this coaster is amazing. Most of all I like the lift hill, the effects are well done. The Vogel Rok soundtrack fits perfectly to the length of the ride as well. Thumbs up!

Hi everyone! I have an update here on the park, including some overview shots of the latest WIP area, 'Metropolis City'.

and finally here's a sneaky view of Underground Express's showbuilding. It's actually quite small!

For anyone curious, here is a lights-on POV of Underground Express, which shows off how tight the layout actually is!

A lights on POV -- what a fun idea.  It really does seem like a much bigger ride from the first video.

Thank you very much for the kind comments!

I agree with you JPAlmighT, it really looks so much bigger in the dark, it was an illusion that worked better than I could have expected.

I've been working on a new coaster for the park, one which weaves through the skyline.

Hello everyone.

So I've decided to rework the layout of the park and the previous rides ....again.

Yes, I know I do this often, but I just want to perfect this park. Out of the previous rides, only Underground Express will be going across as it is. 3 of the other rides are being remade right now (Iron Horse, Flying Ace and World of Motors) and the other (Da Vinci River Adventure) I'm not sure on. The aim is to make the park more compact and more 'futuristic' and set more in the 'metropolis' theme which can be seen in Underground Express.

In good news though, the new design is work well so far, and I have a work-in-progress shot of one of the new rides: Skyrider.

(the ride building for Underground Express is just to the right, and the building for the upcoming Metropolis dark ride is behind of the left. Metropolis is the centre of the park in the main hub, and one of the aims of this reworking of the park is to bring Skyrider to a more prominent position).

Sky Rider is SO COOL!  Damn, that's awesome!

So what came first?  The coaster or the buildings?  Or did they evolve together?  I might want to do something similar one day and would like to know :)

A bit of both! So I set up the lift hill and station, and then built the core tower and secondary towers around those. I then completed the track, having fit it around the first two towers. Once the track was done I added the rest of the scenery.

Skyrider / City update:

Skyrider

Skyrider with Underground Express and 'The Conservatory' restaurant.

Skyrider Entrance

Skyrider.

Now, alongside Skyrider, I have also been updating and moving some of the previously filmed rides. First up is reworking the Airfield, which includes Balloonatics and the B&M Inverted Coaster Flying Ace.

Flying Ace with the city in the backdrop.

Closer view of the lift hill and first drop nestled within the cityscape (which is actually not all that tall)

Balloonatics' entrance.

That's it for now, enjoy!

This just keeps getting better and better. It's taken you time, but your Planet Coaster work is now outshining your RCT3 work, which was phenomenal itself.

The new changes look really good. Skyrider looks stunning. All the buildings are beautiful.
And Underground Express was really fun and really cleverly put together. I've ridden the Tube from Edgeware into Central London more times than I can count and it's never been that exciting (or underground at that part of the line, but we won't mention that ;) ) Brilliant stuff. Looking forward to more.

This park as a special vibe to it. It doesn't look like any else. I really like the Intamin Coaster which on the top of the city is really great.
