So I have been doing some more work in FVD, this time I tired a wooden coaster. I'm not quite sure you can call it a GCI as the track shaping probably doesn't resemble GCI to much, the layout was GCI inspired though.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look!  :D

Did you use FVD? GCIs are tricky to make, and require some special transitions (Kyle Sloane made a quick tutorial: http://forum.nolimits-exchange.com/comments.php?DiscussionID=5050&page=1)

But I like the layout... It reminds me to Invadr at BGW. It's a very photogenic coaster and the environment is great. Great work!

I think you may have missed the little description I put at the top of the post  :P

Thanks for the link though that will be extremely useful! This was kind of a test for potentially a much bigger project including a GCI coaster. Oh and also I'm really glad you liked it  :)

This started off as a bit of an experiment, I got a bit carried away with it and has quickly become a ride. Still loads to do before its a good state to show off more but here is a bit of a teaser  ;)

More soon   :)

Thanks dapalm, as you know I'm still getting used to FVD so its nothing amazing but still I hope you like it!  :)

So here it is, Cloud Catcher. Inspired by Sky Rush at Hershey park, this is another 2nd gen Intamin wing coaster.

And as an extra, if anyone is interested, I made a time-lapse of myself modeling the trains.

Thanks for taking a look everyone

Pretty cool layout! Is the first drop beyond vertical? There are some small details that could be improved: there are two hills that break the pacing a bit too much (one is before the launch and the other one is the one that goes over the final brakes). Also the banked hills feel weird on an Intamin (maybe it's just me lol).

One thing I would have done is adding some rocks/vegetation on the station walls. It would avoid having a giant brown wall. Other than that I loved the tunnel, it was a very simple yet very cool looking effect (way better than Maverick's!).

Overall, very cool ride. You should put your next coaster(s) in the same park file instead of creating a new one with every project.
