"Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world"-Walt Disney

Walt Disney said it best when talking about the magical place we all know and love. This quote has become one of the main themes for this project, and will continue to be one of the main elements for as long as possible. This project is in the middle of some massive transformation projects that will hopefully soon be revealed. Some of which call back to really old works done before I started publically posting. With better building techniques that continue to evolve within each creation, this project will become a highlight of what is to come in the near future.  :mouse:

Sometimes the magic has to be refreshed and enhanced. A lot of refurbishments have been taking place to get ready for the 5 year anniversary of Disneyland Park next year, the celebration starts June 30th, 2021 and goes until 2023!  :D

Well, I did just visit Magic Kingdom and I can say I got a lot of "research" done. The castle looked a lot better than it did in December and the main entrance is scary similar to this project. Cannot wait to continue making more magic!

Strolled by the park to find fireworks testing. This comes after the announcement of some of the nighttime entertainment returning to the real world Disney parks. It was definitely missed during my last two trips to WDW, and I cannot wait for even more normalcy.  :D

(RCT3) Disneyland Park at Disneyland Resort Dubai: 4 Years (6/30/21)
Hello everyone!

Today is a huge day for Disneyland Park because it is the 4 year anniversary of the park's opening! Also beginning today is our celebration leading up to next year's 5th anniversary that will last until 2023. There has been a lot of new magic that has already been revealed to guests, and very soon it will be revealed here at SGW. From decorations, refurbishments, and even brand new lands and attractions, the 5 year anniversary celebration will include the most enhancements and additions to this project since the grand opening. This will be a huge celebration that will be unforgettable. Happy Birthday to Disneyland Park and Disneyland Resort Dubai.

One of the first reveals for our 5 year anniversary celebration is the decorations on Cinderella Castle. While passing through a Main Street that has been enhanced to call-back to the early days of this project, guests will turn the corner to see Cinderella Castle adorned with purple and blue banners that have been selected to fit the updated color scheme of the castle. The decorations invite guests to explore new magic as well as celebrate the history of Disneyland Resort Dubai.

The banners are a nice addition. They sorta anchor the base of the castle, as well as tie it in with the upper part.

Hey all,

I wanted to share a quick text update. I had originally planned to do kind of an announcement event on December 17 to show what is coming to this project. I might move this to the start of next month due to current circumstances. The plans are huge and I want a good reveal of what has been done because I am in love with how things are turning out. Let's hope 2022 is a better year for us all.

Hey everyone!

It has been a very long time since I have done a formal update. The final bit of 2021 was life changing for both the good and bad. In October, I did go to WDW for a research trip and saw most of the newness. I do have strong opinions on Harmonious and Enchantment, and I can go on and on about both with one being more favorable than the other..... Got lots of pictures for referencing for my projects and some parts I will say for myself I nailed! This goes for all of my projects (especially this one and World Of Discovery). In December, I had huge plans to do a large amount of announcements for Disneyland Resort Dubai but the week I had set up for it, was some services for a relative that was very close to me. 2021 I also started a job and still have not found the right balance between work and leisure because of different things to where I am not at my preferred area for making these massive theme parks.

2022 is already looking to be an interesting year, but I have some hope it will be better than last year. This project turns 5 in June, so I definitely have to get on it and get on some of these big plans.

I did not share the decorations for both Halloween and Christmas, but we decorated like old times. Now things are back to normal, well at least until the 5 year anniversary.

I will say, I am proud of the main entrance. When I went to Magic Kingdom, I was shocked at the preciseness of the details, with some variation in colors and different elements.

Of course, Mickey and The Magician is busy. In 2022, it looks like the parks in real-life will be getting back to some form of normal. Seeing fireworks in October was bittersweet, even if the shows were brand new.

Mandatory Cinderella Castle shot

Crazy to think there was a totally different castle here almost 5 years ago....

Taking the side entrance to Fantasyland that borders Tomorrowland brings guests to a new attraction. Snow White's Enchanted Wish is one of three new dark rides added to the Storybook Village section of Fantasyland.

Looking towards the band stand that sits directly behind Cinderella Castle, you can find the second new dark ride that pays homage to a toad that had a wild ride...

Looking back at the band stand facing Mickey's Philharmagic and Snow White's Enchanted Wish.

Now here at Disneyland Resort Dubai, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride! This was one attraction that I wish I could have experienced before it turned into The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh.

Imagineers got real crafty in hiding the show buildings for Mr.Toad's Wild Ride and another attraction that is still seeing development in theming.

Peter Pan's Flight is back at Disneyland Resort Dubai. The outdoor queue still needs to be finished, but the attraction is complete and open to guests. Fantasyland is going to continue to see upgrades like these attractions. The goal is to add a few more areas to connect to the Storybook Forest section that will involve the Disney Princesses and that will be further looked at in the near future.

2022 has big plans for the park. I have not even mentioned Adventureland and the plans for a new E-ticket on top of the constantly redeveloping Pandora. Things are about to get even more magical!

A nice quick-look at what you've been working on, cody. Looking forward to seeing all of it in detail. You mentioned the Mr. Toad façade and show building; does that mean you built a Mr. Toad ride?

That is exactly what it means. It was actually the first new dark ride I added to Fantasyland.

(RCT3) Disneyland Park at Disneyland Resort Dubai: Return (6/12/22)
Hey everyone! Long time no see! I have been hard at work getting things prepped for the 5 year anniversary of this project's official opening. One of the main things that has happened is a new laptop and transferring everything from a laptop I have had since 2015. I will say it was a successful and stressful transfer, and the quality is way better than what I have been working with. The main issue was parks with billboards (this one included), but deleting them temporarily worked!

To tease some of what is to come of the big celebration, you may see that the castle colors have changed. Going from the rose color to a new light blue to really work with the sky in the daytime. Keeping the gold (RCT3 yellow) accents and banners, the castle is ready for the celebration. June 30th is when it all begins! See ya real soon!

Hello everyone and welcome to the place where dreams become real!

5 years ago Disneyland Resort Dubai opened its gates to the world. In 2017, I did not think this project would be so massive and inspire SGW. There have been many changes to the project that it is almost unrecognizable. In the 5 years, magic has been made to guests and will continue to be made each and every day. I have a lot cooking up for this year long celebration, that I am sure you all will love. From new attractions, lands, and even the continuation of a second-gate, the 5 year celebration will be full of new magic. Thank you all for following this massive project, and remember that it all started with a mouse.

March has approached and gone fast! I will say I did do a research trip to parks inspiring my projects. Tron Lightcycle Run is an experience!!! Videos on my Youtube of the launch and even a Fantasmic finale moment. Inspiring me to make even bigger plans since this year is the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company.  ::)

(RCT3) Disneyland Park at Disneyland Resort Dubai: Update (5/23/2023)
With the recent announcement of SGW closing I wanted to end this topic on a good note. This project was in the process of being revitalized and will still continue. Once an alternative location is decided feel free to look up the same project name. I am a member of different Facebook groups and even admin one (or more). Same projects are shared (maybe extras), but it has been a great time developing this project into something incredible. Thank you all for 6 years of Disneyland Dubai on SGW!

Stumbled upon your old forum post about starting a new Disney park. Man, that takes me back! It's been six years since then, and I'm curious to know how things turned out. Did your dream of a Disneyland Park at Disneyland Resort Dubai come to life?
Creating a mix of all the parks sounds like an epic undertaking. I can only imagine the incredible experiences you had in mind for visitors. The quote from Walt Disney himself, ""For all who come to this happy place, welcome,"" still gives me the warm fuzzies. It's the essence of what Disney parks are all about.
By the way, if you're up for a different kind of adventure, check out this link about climbing Kilimanjaro: https://altezza.travel/en/climbing-kilimanjaro. Kilimanjaro is a whole new world waiting to be explored.
