At this point, I'm finding the game pleasant to play, if you're not too picky about the many problems. I'm not too bothered by the look of the peeps, although there is talk of them re-doing them in the future. If they can fix the worst of the bugs, this can be entertaining, for a casual gamer. I don't see this being my game of choice for my main theme park projects, as it is far too limiting. That said, the PbP system that should be unveiled soon may help this game a lot. Couple that with the ability to easily import UGC into the game, and this could be halfway decent and may appeal to the more creative people who would get bored with the current Plop 'n Play gameplay.

But there is so much that this game doesn't do yet, or does poorly, that it is really hard to predict what will happen. Right now, I'm playing it casually, and actually getting enjoyment out of it...in between the times I want to erase it from my hard drive during fits of rage.  ;)

I would say thats a great assessment and I echo it. It has been a while since I played...hmm...

Pleasure Island looks kinda bad. It's so empty and barren. It looks like it's not even finished yet.
Gee, I wonder why that is?  >:(

All that stuff glowing in sci-fi land!  Either your electric bill is hefty or you stored all the construction material at your other park for a few months...
Sure. Go ahead and continue to make jokes about my poor decision to buy radiated land. I'm laughing all the way to the bank.

Everything seems to be running drama-free right now. What aren't you telling us?

By the way, my local park is called Pleasure Island. It's a shit-hole....just saying. It's only a couple of miles from my house but I've never been as it's a bit ghetto.

There's some decent shots here. How did that happen? :)
You underestimate my talents at designing a successful theme park.

Too bad pleasure island isn't such a pleasure to anyone's eyes right now  ;D

Hopefully phase two brings some more detail and density around the roller coaster.

Sci-fi land on the other hand, absolutely gorgeous. Just like you Mr. Wonder. Do I get any good boy points now?
 :whistling:
Flattery will get you everywhere. Here is your reward. A brand new photo of the first new addition to Phase Two.

The Tornado is the first addition to Pleasure Island.

Those flower beds are looking great as always. The ride looks cool, but the name could do with a little creativity, ya feel me?

^ It will no doubt be a private club for Mr. Wonder and his guests only.

I honestly really do like the colors on Tornado though. They seem to pop in a way that's somehow elegant and not trashy or cheap looking like most carnival rides.

I'd rather not feel you, thank you very much.

I will be using both engines. I am bi-engineer. ;)

Since the Drop Zone was a very popular ride at Wonderland Park, I've added one here.

A small refreshment stand opens near the Bistro.

The screens make this game look really nice...but I know you've said it's still got a long way to go--shame. It takes pretty pictures.

As down as I've been feeling about the game lately, I have to admit, it's shaping up. Slowly but surely.

I'm not going to lie to you Mr Wonder, I prefer Wonderland Park. Whatever happened to that anyway? Also since you are starting to make a bit of money from these new parks of yours, don't you think it is time to hire shyguy again?

Wonderland Park was closed due to the radiation (corrupted save file).
And I have hired shyguy. http://www.shyguysworld.com/index.php/topic,18946.0.html

This actually looks quite good. I think especially the sci fi theme works well.

Of course it helps that you're an amazing park planner and everything always seems to have a really good flow and layout

You can actually create a somewhat decent park in sandbox mode. But most management functions and peep AI are pretty much broken. And updates broke this park, so it is gone, never to return.
