Thanks, guys!  The sun serves a purpose.  It hides the elevators of the employee parking garage, which is right behind the shops.   :D

Your creativity is so impressive! That shops and the boardwalk look so inviting for a stroll. The curved stairs are perfectly placed...  :)

Well isn't this a whole new batch of stunningly beautiful work. I cannot believe you are still able to build in this park. The lag must be horrendous.
I think like I live like I work like I love.....voluminous and disjointed. Get used to it.

Lovely stuff.  And yes, I had the same thoughts as JB about "Chums" :D.

You know lining the beach with such wonderful things is 100% likely to attract a hurricane, though.  I hope this stuff protects the important park stuff beyond ;)

With school back in session, I was afraid that would be the end to any new updates, at least for quite awhile. Great to see this park continue to grow. The shopping area is a perfect addition.

That Sun is brilliant!
That whole section is beautiful and looks perfect next to that beach. It's this attention to detail that sets this park apart.
Great stuff :)

Thanks, guys!  I've been super busy with work but I have managed to upgrade some things with the new World's Fair stuff, some of which frustrates me greatly.  I gave up on a project because I couldn't get the new set to do what I wanted.   :mad:up:

Here are some updates on that shopping district though.  I'm starting to add in some shoutout easter eggs to my friends who have helped me along the way.   ;)

Wagi's Souvenirs and Beach Apparel:

Bullethead Bar:

CityTrader's Books and Antiques:

noted...

new doors and trim and things here and there:

Backstage-ish things:

And...

OH...and the Fascination Parlor got a shiny upgrade:

What a crazy juxtoposition of architecture!

I also added some peek-a-boo windows between the Atomic Arcade and Galaxy Spin, so guests in the arcade can get a sneak peek at the coaster.

Wowza! Lots of fun stuff here. My favorite thing is Wagi's itty bitty bikinis.   And the great big bikini on the sign :P

Despite it's color limitations, the diner set has been kind of fun to play with for me as well.  Frustrating like you said, but so far I'm using it for all kinds of things, none of which are a diner  :shifty:

Thanks!  But man...it wasn't the diner set that upset me (although it has problems too)...it was those pesky Qin Dynasty roof pieces that don't line up.

Ha! The first thing that caught my eye, too, was the (not so) "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" sign. Maybe you're expecting some of those 50 foot tall Samba dancing babes from RCT1 & 2. (Anybody remember those?)

The boardwalk/pier really looks magical at night, doesn't it.

Magnificent boardwalk, bud!  And I'm quite honored to have a presence there, especially on the same street as the real masters there

I get around the Chinese roof mismatches by covering the irregularities with a row of roof ridge tiles.  I'd be annoyed except the pieces that don't line up are themselves supposed to be eave trim, not something to make a whole roof out of, which is of course what I usually do with them anyway ;)

Thanks!

today I updated the facade of Ripley's Haunted Adventure across the street from the piers.  I replaced the fake windows with "real" ones from the World's Fair pack so you can get a sneak peek of the spooks inside the upper windows.

And here's a couple of shots of Stumpy and the funicular:

Sorry I haven't responded before now! The new bits look great!

I am honored and flattered to be part of your rogue's gallery. Thanks! Most around here believe I'm an antique anyway!  :D

I noticed Bulletheads bar has their help wanted sign up.

But I think you guys all made a mistake with that sign for Wagi's bikini shop. That's not the sign, it's actually his laundry line!  :w00t:
And Derek, you forgot the brazilian wax shop. It takes a while to wax a bear, you know!  ;D

Z-Escape!  Extreme escape room experience.  Just a placeholder facade but it would be neato, huh?

That all looks nifty day and night.  I'm particularly impressed by the day views where you can see through the building and see the destruction inside.  But why is everybody so afraid of the Rapture? :D

Oh you can't see through the building...I think you're seeing the reflections on the windows.   :D

Clever as always, I really enjoy the way you theme the insides of the kiosk stalls to make them fit your attractions.  Glad your game is cooperating enough to let you make some progress.

I did find out I was an update behind on my graphics driver and that seems to have reduced some of my crashing, though I'll never understand why a new release of a separate product suddenly causes problems with my game.

Thanks.  So I have a question...is it okay to just make facades for these?  I have a complainer on Youtube who is terribly disappointed that these are just fake attractions.  Clearly, he's never had to wait 15 minutes for a park to open even on a monster gaming computer.  ahem...   :mad:up:

Wow, rude.  I guess it's praise in a way... you made a facade so detailed and interesting that people want more.  But technical resources aside, this game really doesn't have a remotely good mechanism for walk-through attractions.  Some day I'd like to see them (or the community via a clever hack) make it possible to connect queue path to regular path at both ends, or maybe give us a 2-doored kiosk that we can customize into whatever we want it to be (funhouse, mirror maze, etc.)  It would be a relatively easy way for them to open up limitless possibilities without a single new mesh at all.
