Oh my that's gorgeous. I love how you've captured the lightning rod feel, it's so ambient!

That car is so amazing! You should make a vehicle pack with Nemmie
Also, love the coaster layout. Can't wait for the POV!

I'm not a huge fan of the layout it's self due to how steep the lift hill is, but that car is excellent, and I love the overall colour scheme and little details! I may have to steal the t-shirt idea for my own stuff!

Ahhh, that panorama at the end, so satisfying.

Nice job on Hot Rod, but of course the only way to really surprise me at this point would be to make something that really sucks.   :P

Wow, that's definitely a tangled mess of a coaster, my favorite kind!  And the theming looks great, too.  Can't wait for a POV.

Fireball is awesome! So many great details, especially the red tool box and the car are really well done. The little slightly open door for the spare track is so good as well  ;D

Some of the supporting looks really cool during the track interactions. Are they just vanilla woodie supports or have you supplemented them with some custom stuff?

Bullet inspired? Certainly reminds me of it...except yours is FAR too smooth, haha. Lovin' all the stuff you've been coming out with, man! Really great.

Ha ha!  Yeah...definitely inspired by the shape of the Bullet (and a little bit by the Rye Aeroplane).

The Boardwalk Bullet was made by The Gravity Group...it was actually their first coaster after they split off from CCI.  It's utterly brutal.  AND...GCI lost the bid against them!!!  What were the Kemah guys thinking?!?!?

In case you familiar with the Boardwalk Bullet, check it out here.  Start at the 3 minute mark to see just how brutal it is.  NO ONE has their hands up...lest they die.  Ha ha!

I love your theming on everything, the bright colors, the layout... Man, it looks all just sooo good. Can't believe you built this in only 5 months. Awesome project!

Ha, "Nothing fancy..." he says as he perfectly times the first onride to end as the sun goes down in time for the night POV.

I just love this park so much.

Well...The 2 POVs are actually edits of 4 different clips.  Ha ha!  So it only looks like I timed it that way.   ;)

How long did those shingles take?  :o

I made three tower tops...just made quarters and then rotated them to make full ones...and I made one sloped roof section...the size of a tile roof piece.  Each part took 2 or 3 hours to make.  and they have LOTS of pieces in each. But I really wanted that dilapidated look.  :mad:up:

Re: Kaleidoscope Piers - MIDNIGHT MANOR - WIP
« Reply #388 on: July 13, 2017, 09:25 PM »
Sooooo...I've been working on the facade for MIDNIGHT MANOR!  It's just the front and the roof...and placeholder track inside.  I may try a few interior things...but part of me is holding out for darkride scenery in the fall.  I have ideas though.

Any guesses what the top hat on the skeleton is an homage to?  ;)

Not much to see in the back yet.   :-\

Yep, you nailed it.  Totally fits in well with this park.  I especially love the sign and font, very original and I'm not even entirely sure how you did it. So many exterior details that I could probably look at picture 1 for an hour.
