I really like all the scenery you're putting around this coaster.  And the coaster itself looks it would be quite fun even naked.  Keep up the good work :)

Thank you, this part of the coaster is a bit dense with it's scenery because of the queue. I think that the the rest of the layour (faster part) will be a lit less dense, you won't see it anyway because of the speed. But it still depends on what I'm going to do in the rest of the area.

Update 52

Hello fellow Planet Coaster Lovers!

Welcome back to another episode of Society Park!

It has been quite the week with Brocoaster promoting me on twitter leading up to an interview that was broadcasted on Monday. It was really fun and I very much appreciated it. The link to the interview is below:

Anyway on to the Society Park update. This week contains building the first tower of the coaster to loop through. Finishing the queue and lifthill tunnel. And starting of with making a custom sign.

Update 53

Hello fellow Planet Coaster lovers and welcome to another episode of Society Park!

In the past week Society Park has reached some new heights by building a second tower structure. Also a small restaurant het placed and electrians have been working hard to put some extra Neon lights in the area of the coaster.

Theming the coaster is almost finished!

Keep on keepin' on DwarrenIce!  Me likes.  I'm really looking forward to the POV of this beautiful coaster.  And calling junkfood vendors "Space Junk" made me snicker.

BTW, in the 1st pic, what are the curved, decorated gusset plates supporting the ends of the Space Junk sign?  Are those the stucco ones that have been around since the beginning but I never used because they weren't recolorable?  But now they are?

I believe they are the glass wall pieces (if that is what you mean), I'm not sure when they got available in the game. The borders around it are the art pieces

Update 54

Hello fellow Planet Coaster Lovers and welcome to another update of Society Park.

It has been quite a while since the last update which was because of a small holiday that I went on.

But there is one this week featuring some path works, placing two flatrides and theming one of them.

I'm actually really glad with the roof myself, got the idea while building it and figured a closed roof would just be too standard.

That Psychola skin is glorious!

Let's get ready for more glory then :P

Glad to hear that I can keep up the beauty standard.

Update 55

Hello fellow Planet Coaster Lovers and welcome back to another update of Society Park.

This week we'll be building another ride skin for the enterprise ride and start working on a small boulevard which will have some little surprise for you guys in the future.

I wasn't really sure with it in the beginning but it did work out in the end and it really does go well with the Collider.

Maybe a ride skin that it worth for a blueprint ;)

Update 56

Well.. that took some time but it's finally here. Episode 56 of Society Park

In this episode we'll be building the park's first hotel and we'll actually take a look back at the monorail station in the Economy Area when we're tying the two areas together.

That's some wonderful architecture on that hotel. I am a huge fan of small hotels :).  However, I am not too sure about the purple/blue color combo. If it was me, i would definitly try some different colors.

I mostly concur with CoasterCad---that's an excellent building but the colors could use some work.  However, I think the combo of blue, purple and white is good.  There's just too much contrast between the blue and the purple.  I'd probably darken the blue so they both contrast well with white.  2nd best, lighten the purple, but then the whole building will be sorta pastel, so I'd just darken the blue, personally.  Just my taste, though, which is renowned for being non-existent, so feel free to ignore me ;)

You guys are both right, I was also looking it and didn't reeally feel it. I've darkend the blue and it is allot better, so thank you guys for that!!

Update 57

Hello fellow Planet Coaster Lovers and welcome back to another episode of Society Park.

This time we've sqeeuzed in some shops to make The Factory building look less bulky. I've also managed to place a small flatride in the little room that was already there. See if you can find the ride in the screenshots:

I've not seen this thread for a while and boy, have I missed a lot. This whole area is gorgeous. I can usually look at something and figure out how it's been built, but those glowing rails on the Wingrider have totally flummoxed me. Keep up the good work. :)

You sure missed something but I'm glad to see you back here. Just a little more before the entire park is finished  ;)

Update 58

Hello fellow Planet Coaster Lovers and welcome back to another episode of Society Park.

This week we're back at the heart the park where we'll start theming te last bit of the big plaza:

Update 59

Hello fellow Planet Coaster Lovers and welcome back to another episode of Society Park!

This week we'll continue on the other side of the entrance gate to the technical area. We also managed to put another small flatride in there. And we'll be starting to cover up Farmers Creek from the technical side so that it doesn't stand out too much. Since it will break the theme when walking in the Technological area.

Also I've been building some parking lots off-cam in Society Park which you might see in the background every now and then. Not to worry cause the hotel needs a main entrance from the parking area so you'll be able to see more of it (probably next week).

Anyway here are the pictures of this weeks update:

Wow! Spectacular work! I love your use of ductwork decorating the exterior of the building. The building looks incredibly realistic for an indoor ride (particularly the gray & blue block wall)

Beautiful as always, Dwarren.  Really loving the variety of architecture, how each structure is extremely unique to what is next to it, and how the very-unrelated build sets are being combined together in a way that works.  I also enjoy seeing the world fair sets get worked into structures that use other parts (although I guess you have to, some of those sets are extremely incomplete :P )

You're right the world fair sets are really incomplete so I've tried tying them with other sets. Glad to hear that I managed to a good job with that  ;)

Update 60

Hello fellow Planet Coaster Lovers and welcome back to episode 60 (!?) of Society Park.

First of thanks to the guys who kept reading this thread throughout all the episodes. The park is slowly coming to an end meaning that it will soon be realesed. Although I must say that recording everything will take me a couple weeks (I think).

Anyway in this episode we're covering up the remaining part of Farmers Creek. Plus Society Park has gotten itself some parking lots so the hotel needs a new entrance from the parking lots side. So that will also be in this episode.

The only thing remaining after this episode is the centre of the technical area. For which I'm hoping to fill in with some rides from the Magnificent Rides pack that is coming up but I'll have to see once the set is released.

Off-cam I did ad some realistic features to the coasters such as sensors and electrical boxes at brake sections etc. I'm trying to keep up with new things that are created by the community and place them in the park to keep it up-to-date.

Well after all that, time to look in the park:

That hotel looks fantastic.  I do feel it's a bit too close to the parking lot though. It would be a reason not to book the hotel for me personally being so close to the parking lot (probably would be for other people though, so i get it)

Update 61

Hello fellow Planet Coaster Lovers!

Welcome back to another episode of Society Park just before the holidays!

This week we'll be building an information building for the parking lot (covering up the fireworks in the back). Also we'll built some VIP platforms from which peeps get a premium view at The Neon Show. Later we'll start with a new flatride, I didn't manage to finish it so that will be where we pick up next week.

Thanks, it is a bit unpractical though, allot of cars will be damaged when they turn into the parking lots from the main road in the middle since it's a tight curve. But other then that I also find it realistic and I'm happy with it.

Update 62

Hello fellow Planet Coaster lovers and welcome back to another update of Society Park.

I hope you guys had a wonderfull christmas and are looking forward to some New Years Eve parties. Society Park isn't standing still in the mean time. This week it made so much progress that we can see the end nearing.

This week we continue on theming the Freefall ride (Galactic War) including it's queue. After that we'll be placing a lake in the area to make sure that the lightshow will reflect nicely and put in some foilage to tie some pieces together.

All in all I expect that it will only take a couple more weeks before the park is finished. So here is the current progress:

And the timelapse:
