Thanks. I got the idea for the car dealership from a picture I found from a period model railroad, so I assume it's pretty accurate.

The billboard is for the 1952 Victoria, which eventually became the LTD and then the Crown Victoria, one of Ford's best selling models ever!

A nice addition!  What car dealership could ignore the crowds that Coney Island would bring past?

A great addition.  I really like using model railroad buildings as inspiration for my builds, and that picture especially worked out great for source material.   :up:

Thanks guys!

Here's a shot of the finished structure at night;

Ravenhall Baths was one of the largest bath houses in Coney Island. It supposedly had an olympic sized pool inside, as well as dozens of saunas, several weight rooms, nearly 50 steam cabinets, as well as changing rooms and lockers for rent.

Built for working class people, it was not as fancy or extravagant as some of the other bath  houses on the boardwalk. It covers nearly an entire city block!

I was hoping you would show a night shot of the car lot; I wanted to see what the cars looked like inside the showroom. Mr. Manager looks kinda forlorn standing out front, after dark, by himself, with no foot traffic in sight. And those cars out in the lot are gonna have dead batteries in a couple hours. :P

I'm guessing Ravenhall Baths disappeared many years ago? (What is the word after "Bathing", Park?)

Yes, park. As far as I am aware, all the old bath houses are now gone. I believe Ravenhall was torn down in the 1960s. Child restaurant has been fully restored, and looks gorgeous.

I like this park because it's like a history lesson and a beautiful park on Planet Coaster all in one! :P

Ravenhall really turned out well! Very authentic looking...great way to cover a lot of territory too!

The old, rundown Child's Restaurant (minus the graffiti) in the photo would have made an excellent darkride façade. But the spiffed up version looks nice too, and it preserved the building.

Rich and Wagi collaborating on an awesome park?
Feel like I walked through a time machine, getting a real nostalgia boner here, but pretend I said whatever the non-creepy way of saying that is instead. ;)

Looking forward to going through all this!

Actually more of a "Wagi pawns off an occasional building on poor Rich" - type park than a collab...99.9% of this is all Rich's inventiveness...so blame him!   :mad:up:

I just point out the occasional misplaced object and provide snide commentary...I know my strengths.

And don't worry...we all reach that age where it is indeed "nostalgia"...right Rich?   ???

 ;D Too funny!

Actually, a very large number of people have contributed stuff to this park. Probably too many to list. And holy cow, I must have stolen dozens of things off of the Workshop, and even a number of Frontier blueprints!  ::)

And, yeah, to me, nostalgia is just a word I use when I refer to my middle age!!!  :yes:

So I had to tear up one city block when I discovered that I had incorrectly placed the Bank of Coney Island. I think I got it right now! The actual building was razed in 2010;

My version;

I love your use of billboards throughout this project. They really add so much to giving the park that perfect vintage look.

The overview is great, but having seen an earlier version of the park in person, this even more recent overhead doesn't do justice to the amazing scope on this place.   It really does feel huge when you're walking the streets.  (Hey CT, if you "need" me to "test" it again, just say the word :P)

Can't wait to see what becomes of those remaining green spaces :D
