Once again, thank you all so much for the great comments. It really inspires me to turn Landmark Bay into something truly special!

In today's update, we get to take a look behind the curtain: Queues, backstage, facilities, and... Landmark Bay's future!"

QUEUES

We're kicking off with this high-end queueing for dodgem cars ride "Bump!"

The encircling queue for "Around the World in 80 Days"

The endless queuing zone for "Royal Bedtime Stories"

Collecting + queueing paths for "Bewitched!"

BACKSTAGE

One of the hidden service roads leading straight into the park

Backstage area with loading bays and garbage containers

A rare glimpse behind the magic...

Backstage area in the front, gates on the right.

FACILITIES

Parking lot with the protected wetlands on the left, the shopping area + amusement park in the back.
Let's explore the red water treatment station.

Landmark Water: Station #2 - In operation since 1982, home to the region's biggest water treatment facility.

Station #2 keeps the bay hospitable for its diverse flora and fauna, whilst accommodating the park's freshwater needs.

Garbage deposit and collection center.
Note the vast bay on the horizon and the Lakeview Station on the right.

FUTURE

Landmark Bay's first major expansion, shown in green: Phase I, covering 7,5% of the 1/3 of land, Landmark Ltd. is allowed to build on. The remaining 67% covers the protected wetlands.

I'm going to be a nerd but I have to ask, is Phase I 7.5% of the total land or 7.5% of the 1/3 of the land the own? I would expect it to be the latter, but the map scale suggests otherwise...

Oh, and beautiful park.  :witch-smiley:

Truley special...thats right!
You did some amazing backstage areas before but this time you did some really over-whelming work. The water depot is fantastic and and I like the parking lot very much.
And your special picture editing is great again and again!

Thank you for the great feedback! Keep 'em coming!

Today we get to explore the new construction site PLUS we'll be interviewing guests to hear their thoughts on the expansion!

The official announcement for Landmark Bay's "Explorer's Forest". Will it open in time for the Winter Season 1992?

The year is 1991 and t's the last day of the Summer season at Landmark Bay! The sun's shining and all is right with the world. Except for that enormous crane in the back!

Ever the marketing genius, Mr. Landmark erected these walls overnight, so that this season's last visitors will generate a bit of a buzz: "I wonder what's going on behind those walls!"

Remember when this used to be a lush forest?

All that remains is the former forest trail and the little hills that used to be adorned by enormous trees. It'll only be a matter of weeks before the entire area gets leveled.

Sure enough, just three weeks later the site was bulldozed beyond recognition.

INTERVIEWS

"The poster features an observation tower - that would really be the cherry on the cake for Landmark Bay."

"Personally, I think it's about time this park finally gets a rollercoaster. There's talk of a wooden coaster, but I've also heard they're thinking of a suspended model."

"I proposed an upgrade for our incinerator centre, but Mr. Landmark prefers rollercoasters above a clean park. Whatever."

"The park is cute, but in serious need of thrills! We're too old for another ride on the Venetian Carousel!"

"Kim told me they're planning on adding a theatre. That would finally bring some culture to this park: I feel Landmark Bay is just one big shopping paradise."

Bonus shot #1: Landmark Bay in all its glory.

Bonus shot #2: The entire park from above.

Haha! Cool update. I feel sorry for the janitor. Surely Mr. Landmark can find the space for his incinerator somewhere?!

Subscription done! Great update, comedic too ;) Still loving the storyline aspect of this project! Also Sarah....why not both? :P

Haha! Cool update. I feel sorry for the janitor. Surely Mr. Landmark can find the space for his incinerator somewhere?!

Maybe they can incorporate it into a dark ride! A hellish nightmare theme?

Oh but wait, no one wants to go on a ride that reeks of burning trash...

Are you sure Phil the janitor is only 46?  He doesn't look a day under 60.   :P

My guess is that all of the aforementioned things are being added, but I think I'm most looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the theater.

Today's update is nothing but a little teaser...

Welcome back to Landmark Bay! Can't believe it's that time of the year again: Time to prepare the park for the Winter Season 1991 - '92 !!

I'm dying to see what's going on behind that wall..

Hmmm not much to see here.. Can you guess the flatride in the back, hidden behind the tree?

I was already excited for Explorers' Forest but now the park is getting decked for Christmas too!? I love the storyline-ness of this project. So much thought and detail goes into doing storyline stuff and you're doing a fantastic job! I mean the top of the ladder in the over-the-fence screen shot. It is the little thoughts and details that really excite me and cause me to look at this project multiple times each update, always notice other little things. Keep up the awesome work, looking forward to see more!

Perhaps you would consider putting the unfinished park up on the workshop?

So many wonderful parks just get "put on hold" or outright abandoned, my own included!, but it would be really cool to explore those as well as the completely finished parks.

Not a complaint against you (or anyone else), just an observation.
