All these entries are amazing!  The detail, and the thought that have gone into all of these are just spectacular.  Still working on mine and I'm really hoping I have something to show tonight.  Getting so stressed out because there's still so much to do.

Lake Planco
While coming up with a theme for my park I thought it was a great idea to try a style I never done before, this decision became even smarter for the reason that I didn’t had a lot of time because of school. Then I became sick for a few days and couldn’t work on it either, so last minute I tried to finish it in a kind of way that it would look half decent. Hope you guys still like it!

I went with a tropical adventure theme, the idea is to have this as the entrance and go in more distinct types of adventure themes for other parts of the park. the entrance has some information boots and guest relations in the buildings and ATM’s on the side.

The first sight when walking in to the park.

Dinging at the self-service restaurant. The buildings on the other side will contain the main souvenir shop of the park.

The front of the restaurant I managed to kind of finish, the inside of al the buildings are not decorated jet!

The ice-cream shop is taking shape though.

Another view of the main attraction of the plaza.

The exit booth of the parking lot. Making money everywhere I can!

And an overview of everything so far. The parking lot layout is finished, the left side is the main part of the parking and is almost finished. The left side is  for the kiss and ride and buss parking and still needs some love but we will get there.

I'm really loving the variation in parking lot ideas from these last 4 entries.

Forgath - I knew you were new to the game but didn't know this was your first park.  Which makes your parking lot even more impressive, I think it has the most intimacy of all the entries.

champ and Rug - You both met up to my high expectations of your work.  You are both so natural at this; makes me really excited to be competing with you as opposed to having to judge your creations and decide which is better.  There were a lot of very close calls in the winter competition.

Pierix - a unique theme that will make it easy to create some standout visuals that the rest of us won't be able to compete with.  But mostly I'm giving you props for something I wanted to do but wussed out on:  diagonal parking spaces.   And probably the most realistic amount of parking, but I'd have to go back and count to be sure.  (I'm so not going to go back through and count :P)

Really looking forward to judging these entries. I'm really loving quite a few different things in different parks!

Props to all!!!

While coming up with this park it took me quite awhile and this is a style I've never really tackled. So it's late and I hope this is all something you enjoy as much as I do.

Welcome to an all new getaway.

Walking in from the new parking area.

Grab your tickets and have a good time!

We welcome you to Chestnut Hill.

Need a pick me up?  Grab a cup of joe.

Balloon Race is a ride for the whole family.

Mountain View Gifts is getting all stocked up.

I hope you all are ready for an all new journey.

@Champ--That excellent work!  I really like the idea of a music theme and note even the parking lot's shape resembles one of the oldest musical instruments, the conchshell trumpet :).  Or several other things, but I'm old-school on music so that's what 1st popped into my mind.

@DragsterDan---I don't know what you call that style but it's quite attractive.  The whole entrance complex is so light and airy.  The curves and gardening really flow well.

@Pietrix:---The way you've solidly portrayed the tropical theme without choking the park under dense jungle is quite a feat.  Now you've got sight lines to exploit later on, which I envy in my own park.

@Everbody---These are all some really great entries.  I'm glad I'm not a judge ;)

I like it, Dan.  The ticket windows are clever, (can I steal that?) and I agree with Bullethead's description of "light and airy."  Also love that you went a very different direction from playing into your strengths from the winter event.  I'm looking forward to the inevitable flat ride challenge where you entirely kick all of our asses :P

PaterDave...I would still submit an entry (or at least don't drop out and catch up and be ready for the next challenge, even if late...just to stay in the competition. The worst you will lose right now is a single point. I would like to see what you have.

Put it up!

Remember there’ll be two tiers if enough players enter! Therefore, if there’s four or five players in each tier, you can still get points for 4th position by submitting a tree and a rock!

Please submit. The more the merrier.

Well I than hope that it will still count.
Here is my submission. Remember this was done in a few hours two days ago as I had not a chance to work on it yesterday.

Hello all. We bought the old Ice rink near Lake Planco and well here is what has been going on.

We kept the name but as you can see we have changed the Ice rink to themepark.
It is not much now but that will change.
The cars with a premium parking ticket get in here and turn left. The buses that drop people off turnright. drop the guests off and than drive to the big parkinglot (off map) where we have the non premium parking with shuttle service.
also you can see that we used the same sign on the entrance as that is on the side of the road to keep it a bit more together.

On the other side of the entrance gate we are clear that it is no exit. Also the sign for the cars points to the exit.

Were we have an Entrance only we also have an Exit only.

As you can see that we split the ways our guest can leave. this for a better traffic flow

Our entrance/ticketbuilding. Small but works fine for the size the park will be.
On the right of it you can see the beginning of our first 2 foodstands that will be on the foodcourt.

Side view of the entrance

A small overview

This is it for what I have done so far. Hope I can still compete but that is up to the judges.

Hey, did anyone else secretly poison the farmers crops? sabotaging his stock so the land becomes less valuable?

I mean...obviously I haven't but just asking...

WTG Paterdave!  Thanks for participating.  That's a well-thought-out parking lot and I'm sure you'll soon build up more of a park for it.  That's an interesting concept with the half-round towers on the entrance building, so it looks different on each side.

@JP and Rug:  The farmer's not my worry.  The local politicians are agreeably corruptible and BSI is firmly in bed with them.  For instance, the city just reappraised that property at a much higher value than it was last week, thanks to it now being adjacent to a growing theme park.  The plan is, the farmer won't be able to pay the taxes, so the city will foreclose and BSI can pick it up for a song at the sheriff's sale.

Dealing with the old church, OTOH, is a trickier subject.  There's likely a graveyard somewhere on the property and somebody might consider it an historic building.

Whoops, that's a problem.  Multiple points of origin, definitely arson.  Now the place is a crime scene and will be tied up in court for years.....
