Dolphin Point

One of the most popular exhibits at SeaWorld is Dolphin Point. Here you can view the bottlenose dolphins as they frolic and play in this multi-pool exhibit.

Trainers demonstrate how reactive the dolphins are to hand signals.

Hands on displays and informative signs can be found throughout the exhibit.

Dolphins are mammals and they belong to a family of more than 35 species including common dolphins, pilot whales, and killer whales. They are found in oceans throughout the world.

An underwater viewing spot.

You can book an exclusive encounter with the dolphins at the reservation building.

There are two programs that you can experience.

The "Dolphin Encounter" allows guests to interact with the dolphins at poolside, guided by a trainer.

In the "Dolphin Interaction Program" you enter the water with the dolphins, and learn basic training techniques.

I always love your TR about a park or part of that park but this one in my opion misses a big part of the animal cruelty that is in the interaction that you can book. The tank looks a decent size but still way to small for the amount of animals in it.

Fusion Smoothies & Wraps

There are a handful of small food vendors right around the corner from Dolphin Point. One of the more popular ones is Fusion Smoothies & Wraps.

Here, you'll find a nice selection of tasty, gourmet wraps and healthy smoothies made with fresh fruits and all natural ingredients. It's a great spot to grab a light lunch.

You can also indulge in a coffee by Starbucks, which has infiltrated many of the SeaWorld eateries. Yes, Starbucks will one day take over the world. ;)

Too late, it's already happened.
I think I would go for the Asiago Chicken Caesar wrap; sounds good.
It seems the SGW auto-spellcheck doesn't know the word 'asiago' (red underline). But it does recognize 'chipotle'. CUISINE BIAS! :D

Baja Grill

The Baja Grill is a small and unassuming food stand that offers a small, but very tasty menu.

With just four entrees offered, they all include flame-broiled citrus chille chicken, which is grilled for you on the spot. One smell of the aroma coming from the grill makes it very hard to resist.

A small dining area is provided nearby.

Okay, this one has me confused. ??? I stared at the first 2 (full-sized) pics for 10 minutes trying to figure out what was going on there. I finally saw the small white countertop above the 'Pick up fresh grilled chicken here' sign. So this is where the guy/cook sets your order when it's ready. But what's with that stainless steel restaurant pan underneath the sign? It looks like it's full of green chili peppers. I guess you can reach in and grab some chilies to put on your plate if you want? Still not sure what those wagon wheel thingies are. Maybe they're used to flip the rack of grilling chicken over?

And yes, the aroma of grilled chicken (or grilled anything) is irresistible.

I'm not sure what's in that pan. Chilies is a good guess, unless they're condiments of some kind. And the wagon wheels are for when grilling small hobbits, it's easy to turn and baste them properly. Or am I mixing that up with a Peter Jackson movie?

The Dock House

Open mainly during busy days, The Dock House features Italian sausage, hot dogs, assorted beverages, beer, and chips.

There is a small seating area in the back.

The Dock House has a small, but tasty menu.

They're hot and spicy rolled tortilla snacks. I've never tried them myself.

SeaWorld Rescue Photos

SeaWorld Rescue offers their rescue-themed merchandise and the opportunity to get a photo of yourself riding an official SeaWorld rescue boat.

It's a small shop with just a few shelves of merchandise.

In the back of the shop is one of the park's rescue boats in front of a green screen.

There you are, riding across the ocean, dodging sea lions and dolphins. ;)

The side of the building offers a nice place to sit. :)
