Hello all!

I have an update. But first this:

I'm stuck on creativity  on the Vintage Wild Mouse theming. So for the moment I decide to let it go for a while.
So I started to work on a sort of 2nd round of gardening trough out the whole park. I've been from project to project but forgot to take an eye to the paths and surroundings.

So here some results of the work done  :)

Extended the topfloor of the Vintage "Crazy mouse" building

Work in progress

Some inside theming put in place.

I gave the railroad it's first bridge structure.

I made a by-pass for the long distant walk from Predator to Rolling river.

New by-pass from the "Rolling River" side

Upgraded the pathway borders between "Overload" Topspin and "The Knockout"

Area shot by night

Then I created a set of 2 blue prints of the "Octopus Rodeo Arena"
I have one blueprint with some themed surroundings you find here:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1558583108

And I created a full ride skin of the flat ride you can find here:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1558583953

Thank you for your attention and goodbye for now :)

That building in the first pic, that's part of the Crazy Mouse ride?  I just love it, definitely from an exterior perspective... the way you used those sci-fi pieces for the roof is giving off a very Steampunk-Funhouse type of feeling, which is a great concept all to itself.  That's going to be great to see up close.

Thank you all again for your support!  :)

Continuing the upgrade on theming trough out the park I found a Topspin without any theming except for some landscaping.
So time to give it some theming. I created some experimental machine for creating static electricity on massive scale. Add up a story of a crazy scientist and "Overload" will go ehm overload...

Here the movie of the final of "Overload" it's program:

Here you find the ride skin blueprint on my steam account:

And here some pictures of the newly themed "Topspin"

That's one of the best themed flatrides I've seen.

Can't imagine the work it took to sync up the effects for that, but the end result is jaw dropping.

Friggin' AWESOME Tesla-style arc-and-spark show!  That's just the visual, but then choreographing that to the music and the motions of the ride puts it over the top.  Great job and fully in keeping with the standards you've established for this park throughout this project.

I like all the different ways you came up with to utilized the electrical effects. And the industrial/steampunk look of the structure is fantastic!

Thanks for all your compliments
To be honest... the sync with the music was by accident really.
After I read Bullethead's comment I checked out the video again and it surprised me totally  ;D

With the new DLC I was able to add a cable chair lift ride to the park.
This was an addition that came from heaven. It gives a unique opportunity to fly trough the park and see it comes alive from a different angle.

I used 10 on-ride movies and blend them in to one full out and back on-ride creating the most of possible interaction with all the coasters and rides. I hope you will like it!

Stuff like this happens too often to be mere serendipity ;).  I have long suspected that Frontier intentionally incorporated such timing into many facets of the game, so that the music would change or have strong beats when various events happen with rides.

*  Coaster songs usually have a gradually building intro before getting into the main rhythm that corresponds to the usual duration of the lift hill.
*  The stanzas of flat ride songs usually have about the same duration as flat ride animation sequences so that the music changes when the ride starts moving in a different way.
*  The durations of various triggered effects and, thus, the frequency you can re-use them, tend to match the tempo of the music, so the effects often fire on the downbeats.

If this is all intentional, it's a very subtle and very cool thing.  If it's all a coincidence, then obviously the gods enjoy PC :).

Yeah, that chair lift does an excellent job of showing off all the wonderful dirty work, rides, and architecture of this amazing park.  Thanks for the tour ;).  And I'm glad to see you have plans to build even more stuff.

A very good evening dears,  B)

I’ve got some new stuff collected for a new update on "Wotws" themepark. The creation block is unfortunately still in place for the  "Wild mouse" and "vintage palace" Project but I’m still going strong on upgrading the existing areas.

So here some pictures of the work done:

Status of the "Wild mouse" and “Vintage Palace” project.

Boulderdash got spotlights and got a better look in the night. The que has been given some lights and better gardening.

Put an extra trigger to the Kiddy coaster "Dragon Fury".

The paths around  "Boulderdash" and "Rolling River" has gotten some fencing, lights and improved gardening.

"Rolling River" got a better light set.

Another extra round of attention to the shops in this area.

I have been experimenting with flood lights and search light to have the area of "Predator" better visible in the night. Unfortunately it created to much light pollution for the surrounding area. Tried it later by placing floor lights just right under the skin of the skeletons and that did just the trick.

The same method I used on the track of "Predator" and created this effect:

Here I leave you with a new onride video of “Predator” in his new Night settings :)

Enjoy  :)

Those giant dinosaur skeletons look really eerie and other-worldly lit up like that. :o  They are an iconic sight that sticks in your memory, like Disney's Matterhorn or Space Mountain brightly lit at night. I like the staggered, blocky fence and how it acts as a visual counterpoint to the sinuously curved path.

The polish everywhere is really looking great, improving on what was already excellent.  And I agree with JB:  making the skeletons glow in the dark looks incredibly awesome ;).

If you're stuck on the Wild Mouse, I can recommend this one.  It's a life-size and custom-supported replica of a Schiff wooden mouse, made with utter and complete devotion, verging on obsession, by Zacharylunsf.  This coaster is his favorite thing in the world and he really worked hard on it.

Thank you all again for the positive feedback!

Walk on the wild side "The Ride" Will be the next Coaster to be fully lighten up in the night.

For now I started a new Project for the park. Project 8 it is called for the moment. It will be the centre Castle of "Walk on the wild side" Themepark. And it will not be a Cinderella kind of thing but a little more sinister of course  :D

Pics say more!

The terraforming. This was the first setup but I found out very soon that this immediately killed the frame rate of the game with +1000 smoke nuzzles  ;D

So Back to the basic and drawing table.

So we started to place the smoke more strategic so I needed less of them.
I made the tower shapes of rocks and turn them with 15 degrees to create a symmetric shape and start building a entrance building.

put in some lights.

Customized the operator boot.

And closed the roof.

This is it for the moment.
I hope you like the style of this Castle  B)

See you all back soon!  :)

The castle has a very organic look to it; like it's made of living tissue. :o  It also looks like natural rock formations that you'd see in a cavern- stalagmites and such.

I like the large torches bordering the path up to the castle in the night shots. They remind me of the Gates of Hell  (not that I've ever been there). Yet, during the daytime, it looks quite pleasant; almost the opposite of the nighttime pics. Sort of like the Gates of Heaven 0:) (haven't been there, either).

Interesting yet amazing! I do like the vintage building for the crazy mouse attraction. This park has an interesting mix of themes, but at the same time fits the name of the park. It definitely seems wild. Well done!

The first pic seems to be a representation of a happy ending. (I'm just guessing here) The person, who is no longer in the room, has been 'taken' to a heavenly after-life. (The golden light and floating cloud thingy might have something to do with it, too ;) ) The light blue coloring adds to the heavenly look. While the next pic, with its dark and garish color, indicates that he goes to the 'other place'.

It just occured to me, while looking at your latest shots, that the castle looks like Sauron's lair from Lord Of The Rings. Or so I would imagine. It even has the big, all-seeing eye. :o

Haha... No you go way to deep now JB  ;)

It's the first scenery I put in the waiting line. Just to create some tense feeling without giving away any clue of about what will be your destiny. In first place it is not clear what kind of ride you enter here. It could be some kind of Dream flight or something more sinister. It could even be alien. When the ride starts there will be a point that you will encounter an accident. And that's where the story really starts. You will been shown the hell. You will be shown heaven. In the end it will be your judgment day and you will be send to the gates of the hell or to the gates of heaven or...... and that I will keep a secret until it's finished  :D

And now some progress of the project itself:

Under the purple roof is the ride station.

I added some spooky tree roots over the rocks

Some more roof decoration

Nice view from the "vintage section" main path.

Inside darkride scene (Your gate to Heaven)

Some forced prospective

Overview

lines of sight.

See you all next update  B)

Yeah, I tend to do that... a lot. :D

Quote: "It could be some kind of Dream flight or something more sinister."

Okay, now  who's going way too deep? :P

I like the forced perspective shot. Things like that always grab my attention. The stark clearness of the first shot has a very surreal look to it. And you're right; the architecture looks like it could be built by some alien civilization.
