Thanks for pointing out the various paths and how they connect to everything. I'm actually getting familiar with the Egypt area, at least from the overhead view. I still get lost occasionally from a peep's eye view.

Concise and legible; good qualities for a map to have. I like the scarab and pyramid vignettes.

Time to move onto the next area. The High Oasis.

Here we have two anchor wooden coasters. The Horned Viper and the Desert Cobra.

This is early building stages of these two coasters showing the placement and the path of the queue lines. One to the far right, and the other to the far left. The exit paths join together down the middle of the two coaster stations.

Note that most of the land is not formed and colored yet, no foliage, and no buildings have been built.

Another angle before all the 'stuff' is added.

Wooden coasters look so much more massive and impressive than steel coasters. I guess it's all that support work. So, are these dueling coasters? The tracks are mirrored in some places, but not others.

they are more inter-twined than dueling

Here are the two queue buildings, with no roofs or decor.

Leaving the Desert/Cairo area of Egypt, you start the climb up to the high oasis.

Climbing up even higher into the Oasis area...here is the exits from both of the wooden coasters...and a place to grab a snack.

Entrance to the Horned Viper queue.

Queue building crosses under the lift hill and up to the load platform under the pyramid.

The load station houses loading for both wooden coasters.

I like how the Horned Viper entrance building is separate from the queue 'pyramid'. And how the lines and theming for both coasters share the same space and are part of the same complex.

THX

On the other side of the load platform is the queue and entrance for the Desert Cobra side of the coasters. Head up a stairway to get to the top of the plateau to load.

After leaving the station, there is a quick crossover of the two tracks.

One track heads up this way

The other like this

Looking down the two main first drops that pass by each other.

Some squiggly and cross-overs. The helix is towards the back-side of the ride and crosses over the back pathway.

yes...while this layout isn't a true 'dueling' coaster, meaning they don't race along each other, they do crisscross many times.
I have to also say, that this initial design was a copy from the workshop, but I have to move things around a bit to get it to fit in my terrain, etc.

More twists and turns, and ups and downs as these tracks wind around each other like snakes in a den.

A small helix towards the end of the ride. Note the (faux) viewing platform in the lower right.

Breaking/blocking stations for both tracks towards the end of the tracks, if needed.

more nuttyness

Some action from above

Here are both full tracks from above and I color coded the two tracks so you can follow how each twists around.

Other names for these coasters could be: Can Of Worms, and California Freeway. :D
