That 2nd pic definitely has an Egypt feel to it. Actually, it's just as you said, sort of a combo of Egyptian and other African motifs. Nice. :)

Here is a look at the boat station/platform (copied from the workshop Adventure Boat Ride Platform by Kimattacks).

The boats leave the station and enter into a wider part of the river where there are some hippos lurking.

I also want to mention a few call outs to blueprints I used in this area that may have not been featured in some of the screen shots.

I like the foundered boat (from your previous post) being scrutinized by that hippo. I'm guessing the hippo attacked and sank the boat-  the guests are nowhere to be seen (hmm). You don't see that in Disney's Jungle Cruise!

Another nifty postcard, and... collector alert, a misspelling!: 'Cruise To You(r) Wildest Adventures'.

I enjoyed the video. :)  My 2 favorite scenes: the floating planters in the foreground while the boat chugs by in the background, and the scene where the camera moves through the tree branches as it follows the boat.

I wish the boats in PC bobbed in the water like they did in RCT3 (they don't, do they?). That bobbing around added a lot of realism. Also, the underwater rail is too visible for my liking. This concludes today's mini-rant. :D

I don't like the rail either. I tried hiding them under various billboards, but I just didn't like the look any better

Turning back around and looking across the plaza is a candy shop. The main building is a slightly modified version of "Safari Hotel by Scila" from the workshop.

Inside are pieces from "Candy Barrels by jvalle_6017" and "Sweet shop assets by Kingoftheswing"

and it has a back entrance

A very nice, friendly looking building. I would definitely walk into Serengeti Sweets, and I wouldn't leave empty-handed. :)

That landscaped rhino is excellent!

Here is a short path that goes around the back of the confectionery and along the river way.

The bridge on the left leads to Egypt and Nepal (the next land we will cover a bit later).

Wow, such beautiful, lush foliage on that path. I like how the tree canopies form sort of a tunnel. Looks very inviting.

THX JB!

Here is a capsized ship chicken shop...and now that I look at it again from this angle...it doesn't fit this area very well. I think I more placed it here because of how it looked from the water side in the next photo. Maybe if I decide I have some time to kill I may go back and swap this out with something else. You can also see the the start of the queue line for the Serengeti Tower ride. I also got this from the workshop and for the life of me I can't find it (So, I can't give deserved credit correctly), so maybe it has since been removed?

The chicken shop (I first read it as 'chicken coop' :P) does indeed look great from the water side. It'd be a shame to remove it. Maybe you could add 'stuff' to the other side to make it fit in better? Or remove and replace some of the front part.

"Renne' Feu" ?   *JB adds another rare collector's item to his collection of misspelled paraphernalia.*

I like how the postcard has that old left-out-in-the-sun faded look.

LOL. I must have been doing those group of postcards late at night and been really tired.

I like how the Swing flies way out over the path down below. Guests on the path can look up and get a sense of excitement (and fear).

In the last pic- The cast shadows from the palm trees onto the path, and the deep shadows from the trees to the right really make this scene inviting.

Well dang. That's no fun. :P  I like how you change the postcard borders from time-to-time. Hmm, this one looks like a Halloween postcard... little early, isn't it?

OH WAIT! "spleling"? hahahahaha

The Serengeti Swing makes a nice addition to this area. And you chose the perfect colors for it to fit with the theme. And I always love your postcards.
