THX guys!

Jumping back over to the other side of the plaza is a large structure (a slightly modified version of "Tropical / Tiki Park Entrance by UncivilEngineer" from the workshop). this serves as a building that has a few shops and facilities in it. Serves as kind of a gateway to the animal viewing areas behind the building.

Wow, I love everything about that building(s)! The angled wings (restrooms/first aid) with that great looking thatch-covered archway in-between. I don't know how much of it is yours or UncivilEngineer's, but I like it. Who could resist going through that grand archway and into the lush tropical forest beyond?

The main building was the workshop item. I added the planting beds and the savanna photo panels.

Absolutely beautiful! I really love seeing this project and where it's going! I always draw and map my stuff out as well!

That animal enclosure looks so realistic, one of the many great pieces of this project. It's a shame you won't be able to just export it to Planet Zoo when it comes out. But I've got a feeling you'll be able to create some great scenes with that as well!

THX - looking forward to PZ, except that it will take time away from PC.

More animal enclosure shots

Trying to add just a touch of realism by including a backstage access to a barn for the critters.

In the background is a huge restaurant called the Safari Lodge. More details on this next, but the main building was from the workshop - Thunder Falls Restaurant by AlexSmith

I like the hippo stuffed into the back of the truck. How'd the zookeepers get him in there? I'm already liking Safari Lodge.

Taking a closer look at the Safari Lodge restaurant. There is a walkway around the outside that offers great viewing of the animals.

I had/have some catching up to do in this thread.  It really has turned more zoo than theme park, but I like how it incorporates both elements.

Seeing that last shot makes the view through the windows almost seem like you've put them in as bilboards.
It just looks THAT good!

THX guys - glad you can continue to enjoy my busy play/work.

Lets taker a look inside the Safari Lodge. First I want to say...I don't do interiors very well compared to some of you out there, but I did attempt to dress this building up a bit more than usual. The blueprint I started with had the shops, the floor, and the support beams, but not much more past that. I decided to add all the seating (some are real, most are fake), plants, wall coverings, pictures on the walls and a couple small animal enclosures. Hope you enjoy.

With the wooden plank flooring, the plants/greenery, and the dim greenish lighting-  it really looks adventure-y/jungle-y. (Not to mention the animals and decor on the walls.) I like those round alcoves with the wooden beams; that's where I'll be eating.

I like how the booths are arranged in a circular fashion. It reminds me of one of those restaurants with a slowly revolving floor.

Looks like somebody was playing around with their photo editor in that first pic :P.  I don't see that honeycomb overlay in any other screenshot.
I like that framed display of masks on the wall. Actually, all of the wall art looks nice and very appropriate. Sort of upscale, but still casual.

Actually no. this is looking from within the snake enclosure and that is one of the glass scenic pieces in game. I will have to look next time I'm in game and let you know which one it is.

It's kind of a neat effect though. I first noticed the honeycomb pattern on the tables, and I thought that the tabletops had a snakeskin pattern. Then I started seeing it elsewhere; except on the snake, which was a clue as to what was actually going on in the pic (a clue which I ignored).

Your best interior yet, and you've done a lot of them.  I really like the way the floorboards in the (rotunda?) section follow the curve of the room.

just want to be sure that no one missed that the core of this building was from the workshop (Thunder Falls Restaurant by AlexSmith) and a lot of the stuff (like most of the floor) was already in place.

Sorry for the delayed posts on this park. Built a new PC and still trying to get everything up and working. Haven't had much play time lately.

Here are a few more night shots of this land
