This ride is looking more and more exciting, wowman. But we gotta be careful 'cuz: Many mummy minions may make mayhem. :D  (Yay for alliteration!)

I like how the track is sunk into the ground so that the cars are at eye-level with the scenes.

I was going to comment on that as well, but JB beat me to it. Very clever. Probably easier to build on the ground anyway.

its all the same in the end...just depends on the over height. I was trying to keep the building at a lower profile so it could be hidden behind the berms and faux façade easier.

Good to see you are still working on this years later. Though I'm still upset that you ditched Indiana Jones.  :sneaky: :whistling:

Thanks for the video, wowman. :)  I can't believe I've been on this planet for 67 (almost 68) years and I've never had a Nubian Turkey Leg. :scared:  Don't know how I missed out on that.

I think you made the right choice with the open-air train station. It looks like it fits in with its surroundings.

I like the animated claws on the Tail/Tale of the Black Scorpion sign. Looking forward to seeing the Mummy dark ride.

Here is the bridge leading to Egypt from both the Central Africa and Tibet areas.
This is the main entry into this land. There will be another bridge added later in the far north end of this area once I start working on it.
You can also traverse in/out of this land via Train, boat, or gondola.

I like the fiery braziers lining the bridge to Egypt. Interesting decision to place them on elevated pedestals at the ends of the bridge. I guess that was to make the entrance of the bridge stand out better from its surroundings, to give it more importance.

THX guys!

I know I covered this a bit in the overview video, but this land has a lot, so here is where the pathing is located in this part of Egypt.

- the orange is coming off the bridge and going right to a small shopping/food court with a viewing area of the river.
- the light blue goes off to the left and down the main street of Cairo and the boat dock...and eventually off to the other sections of Egypt.
- The yellow goes under the train tracks, through a few courts, and eventually to the train station. I didn't draw it but there is also a cut through under the train station tracks to get to the station as well.
- The teal line heads off to the upper right and past the larger rides and heads to the back of this land.
- the pale purple line shows the paths under and around the coaster and also goes throughout the market area in the upper center of the shot. there is also a path (not marked or finished yet) in the upper left that heads off to the other sections of Egypt as well (behind the Dunes coaster)

So following the orange line...this is looking down that path to the small food/shopping court

Here is more of this little shopping circle at the end of this path. I also want to be clear that I got the major set up of these buildings from the workshop and modified them to fit in my area I had to work with here.

Looking back the other way towards the main street.

I like the next-to-the-last pic best. Being at eye-level, the foreground in shadow and the plants overhanging the path with the bright sunlit colors beyond, it looks very inviting and enticing.

In the first pic, I was gonna ask you what the smoke is that's surrounding that building with the lit torches-  Then I realized it's coming from the train engine.  I like the group of large colorful vases.

Another highly detailed 'busy' area. (That's a good thing :)) And yet, not the same as the other areas of the park you've shown us so far. This area is a little less cluttered and a little more beautiful. I especially like the first shot.

Your attention to detail is mind boggling! Everywhere you look, more to see!

Loved your walk through video also. Can't wait to see the completed mummy ride!

Lovely park, looks very realistic. You spend a lot of time on the detailed theming and integration of the ride into the themed area. Well done so far.

Thanks guys...glad you are enjoying it. I love building in this game.
Would like some new stuff though.

Lets take a look at the path that goes from this area under the coaster tracks to the larger marketplace towards the back of this land.

It passes under the coaster track 3x. I did try to make is more real by putting protection screens above the path where the track passes over.

Looking from the other way

Having the track go over a path is always a thrilling thing. In real life, if you walked under the track just as a train was going over, it would probably be one of your most remembered moments in the park. I like how you placed the red flowers atop that one screen, adds a little more beauty (and shade).

In the last pic, that red-orange building on the left looks sorta like a kiddie car-seat. :P
