Here is an on-ride (not POV) video of the ride. Enjoy. Like I said, not exactly what I had hoped for, but needed to move on.

Wow, you went all-out this time; with narration, music, and sound effects. Was all of that added in post production? Or is that what you hear when you ride the ride? I like the part where the ride vehicle swivels around in order to (barely) slip through that slanted archway.

all post - it was difficult enough to get the ride even close to what I really wanted let alone time the audio. The core ride music it on ride, some of the in game sounds effects (like explosions, are on ride, but most everything else was post.

Definitely more of a "you are there" feel while riding the ride- You show us what you want us to see, when you want us to see it. A couple of those mummy snarls sound like something I've heard on The Walking Dead"! Thanks for the video wowman.

Moving away from the mummy ride...there is a flat ride tucked back in the corner called The Nubian Slide.

This was used from the workshop, but I had to rearrange the queue and some of the scenery around the ride to get it to fit in this tight corner, also against the park boundary.

Beautiful work as always!

well, it finally happened. This park got to big and it broke. I can't play for more than 10-15 mins before it crashes. I tried everything like updating drivers, closing everything else running....nothing it working and its getting old re-doing everything I lost over and over again. So, I think I need to make the decision to split the park into separate files (phases) to be able to complete it out. I still need to decide how to split it, what to delete and try to keep in each phase of the park, so that it still looks like one cohesive complete park. I will do my best to make this invisible to you all so it can be enjoyed better. I guess this is what happens when you build as big and bold as I do. Stay tuned.

Well, I guess it had to happen sooner or later. Frankly, I'm surprised you got this far with it before 'hitting the wall'. I know it's disappointing to have to split the park up; you don't get the full immersive feel as you would if it was in a single file. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do. :)

Let's move over to the flying/hanging/soaring (what do they call these coasters?). The Tail of the Black Scorpion. This was modeled off of a coaster I had in the parent park I built in RCT3 (also in the Egypt section part of the park). Had the same name, same coaster type and a similar looping/swooping layout.

Here is the entry to the queue line where a few large black scorpions are battling it out. I do have a separate video posted earlier in this thread that had a short speed build of this area.

I may have mentioned this before, but I like how the fencing is buckled from the ruckus caused by the fighting scorpions.

Throwback indeed! I used to love those old pyramid walls. I can't even get any of my old parks to run anymore.

Love your Egypt area!

Too bad about splitting the park, but sometimes that works for the best. Looking forward to seeing how everything comes together.

Not sure if I mentioned this yet, but the design of this coaster is meant to represent the swopping tails of scorpions.

Here is the lift hill.

looking down the first drop...you can see the first 2 tail swoops that you will be going through.

My mind was wandering as I was looking at your latest images (it does that a lot), and I was thinking back to when this project first got started; the plane in the entrance plaza. It's come a looong way! :)
