Wow, even better than the first update. I like how every table is a window seat. Looks great during the day as well. I especially like how the sunlight filters through the windows and dapples the floor. I hope they serve something besides sushi cuz I wanna eat there. :D

One of Euro Reptarland's many pieds-à-terre. Each with a fantastic view; overlooking the park or city of Paris.

Great screenshots! You've done a top notch job in recreating those scenes.

Thanks everyone! I've loved this park since I was a kid, it's really satisfying bringing it to life in Planet Coaster.

BB, your fidelity to the source material is uncanny.  And the whole concept of making a 3D version of a 2D cartoon park is refreshingly different.  Plus, the cartoon park is in some ways a parody of real parks, which I highly approve of ;)

Wow, this really is amazing! I can't believe that this is finally being tackled. I've always wanted to see this made some how (cg, minecraft, PC) and I am happy to see that it is being made! Can't wait for progress!

Would love to see the arena made at some point! Are you also taking inspiration from the Nintendo 64? I have vague memories of it, but I know I definitely enjoyed it.

Also a plan for the layout of the park going forward. Going to focus on getting buildings and rides done first, then paths, then plants and scenery, and finally the shell that surrounds the park. Based on all the information I can get, I think this is probably the layout of Euro Reptarland. Though some things definitely switch positions between scenes in the movie. It's set-up seems to be sports-arena-like, and has 2 tiers above ground level of walkways, rides, and shops.

The map looks too cartoony (that's a joke :D). So, we've seen the Theatre (at least the outside), and we've seen the Hotel (at least the inside) and the Entrance. Is the Sushi Swirl (Teacups) part of Zanyland or Japan? I'm interested in seeing what the Rugrats version of the Space area will be like.

The Sushi Swirl will be located in the Japanese area. Ooey-Gooey World will be in Zanyland though! And the space zone, will look something like this concept art for the movie...

That rollercoaster inside the yellow rings looks like it would be fun to re-create-  and it would look great, too.

I watched Rugrats occasionally, back in the day. Yeah, it's a show (primarily) about babies/toddlers. But the humor was quite sophisticated in its own way. It was always fun to hear the toddlers' interpretations of the real-world things they encountered.
