Visiting a park in the dark?
« on: October 19, 2018, 02:41 AM »
Hello,

Just a thought , the title of this thread.
But since we do make / create parks during dark hours, have you ever visited one during the evening?

I know i havent, so i cant speak from experience.

Yes, I have been to several parks in the dark. It's a whole different experience with all the lights :) Sadly parks here in Germany don't open that long in summer, and I'm not too keen on Halloween or Christmas decorations.
My favourite was Phantasialand's Festival of Lights many years ago.

just about every park I have ever been to, I have been there at night. Six flags (several) and all the Disney Parks and Universal parks, Kings Island, etc.

Disneyland is especially magical at night. It's also very crowded and congested during nighttime parades and fireworks. So once I've seen the nighttime show, I stay far away from the congested areas (mostly Main Street) and enjoy the quieter areas of the park.

I love being in Disney parks at night because they are even more magical. I do enjoy watching Magic Kingdom close from a theme park view at Bay Lake Tower, that is the most relaxing sight knowing I don’t have to fight to head back to my room!

Yes, I've been to several parks during evening hours. That includes Disneyland (Ca., USA), and Knott's Berry Farm.
But none for several years now.
