Post your TMT projects.
« on: December 06, 2018, 11:16 AM »
Well, I created this board so members could show us what they're working on using the Thememaker's Toolkit. So far, no threads.  :(

So instead of creating your own thread, how about simply posting here, and show us what you're working on or what you've already created. And if you have any major projects that you want to show us your ongoing progress, or you have a lot of objects to show off, by all means, create your own thread.

So i thought i'd toss my Hat into the Ring as well:

I started out with a single Cockpit Canopy. I learned a lot from this one Piece alone:

Since People were asking for stuff to put in their Shops (looking at you Vampiro) i thought: I have got this Transparency figured out, why not make a Coke Bottle:

Billboards are well and good in a Pinch, but they either are too dark or too bright for some uses. And since i myself had a need for Wallpaper and not a lot was available, i thought i try my hand at my own:

Again something i didn't see on the Workshop was Frisbees. I figured they are a nice addition to a Merch Shop :)

Maybe there is something there that is useful to somebody :D

This here is Work in Progress at the Moment, i still need to add Flexicolour to it, but i think it might be useful when it is done.

This Diner Lamp might come in useful when you want to build indoor Eating Areas :D

Right, here is now the Link to the Finished Object:

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1797074628

Since Souvenirs are a big Part of Themeparks i thought i give it a go with a Coaster Car Statue. This is an early look of how it looks like. Please keep in mind that i am in no way a Professional, my only experiences modelling are with a few simple objects, so this is quite a big step for me. So don't be too harsh :D

I'll need to give it proper Materials and Shaders so it won't look so glarey anymore :D I'll post the finished Object and Link to it here :D

I have no idea how to even make anything. I would love to do this, but I just can't grasp the concept of how to do this. I keep trying, but get stuck. If I had this capability, I would be making a crap load of stuff, probably even more than playing the game.

Yes i agree that the "getting started" part is the tough one. But there are some blender tutorials out there that show you how the program works in general and give you a nice project to model. I recommend Blender Guru's Donut Turorial. It is where i started too. For the actual process of making Models for Planet Coaster there are some different other ones linked on the Planet Coaster Forum.

Also i think i am happy now with the results of my Coaster Statue thing:

Enjoy :D

It has been a while since i posted something so i thought i'll show you the stuff i did recently: Starting with the second Coaster Statue i made:

It is loosely based on the Blue Fire Coaster of Europapark.

here is the Steam Workshop link if you are interested:

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1895394820

The second Object is way simpler but i think it is useful as a Shop Decoration as well:

This is one of the Blocks of Wood you can buy as a Souvenir from Wooden Coasters. Everytime there is some work done on these Coasters they sell the cut off bits as gifts.

And here is the Workshop link as well:

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1908069381

I almost forgot... i made a Lunchbox a while ago too:

I think i am pretty happy with how it turned out :D
Here is the Steam Workshop Link as well:

So hopefully you find some useful stuff here :D
