DiscoveryLand [Space Mountain Mission 2]
« on: August 01, 2017, 09:03 PM »

Back in 1894 a Dutch astronomer was roaming around in the woods when he found a huge ufo crash site with 2 abandoned ufo's. He couldn't believe his eyes!
After spending years and years of studying the ufo's with his team he finally came up with the idea to repair them and take them into space.
His team came up with the idea to build a huge base they would later call "The Mountain" with a huge cannon next to it to launch them directly into space!
Fast forward 1 year and the base was finally finished and ready for the first test! One of the team members went into one of the ufo's and gave them the "all clear" signal.
So the astronomer ran into the base, fired off the space cannon and  blasted him into the sky!
Everything went right until the team member began to feel an intense heat coming out of no where. He began panicking and used his ejector seat just in time to float safely back towards the ground. The same can not be said about the ufo he flew which exploded on impact...
After another 3 years of re-studying the other ufo. They finally came up with the idea for a 2nd and final launch they would refer to as:
 "Space Mountain: Mission 2"

Join the astronomer and his team in their final mission into outer space!
Wil they make it this time?

This is: Discoveryland

Lets start the tour at the base and it's huge space cannon

Accompanied by this Vekoma junior boomerang coaster for the younger space travelers

Have a snack at Discoveryland's famous quick service restaurant "Fisherman's Inn"

After that take a flight and enjoy the beautiful sights Discoveryland has to offer!

Or enjoy a calm river journey through the woods

You can also take sail in one of the astronomers ships!

And now it's time to finally conquer Space Mountain: Mission 2

Take a ride on this high speed thrilling ride through space!*not a recreation*

Enjoy the final overview video of Discoveryland!

Thanks for watching! I'll post some behind the scenes pictures tomorrow

What did you use for that timber building scenery?
