Two coaster questions
« on: January 19, 2019, 11:03 AM »
After looking at and studying video after video and picture after picture trying to learn how to get my roller coasters to feel more realistic within PC, two questions popped into my head.

B&M rides like their standups, early sit downs and inverted tracks did not have too much banking on their turns and such, was this a design element to give some lateral G's or was their something that prevented them from going the way of the coasters today with their radical banking from side to side and entering and exiting turns or elements?

That question lead to another question. Why is an inclined loop not an inversion, yet an overbank technically an inversion? Isn't anything passed 90 degrees an inversions since you are now past vertical? An inclined loops is far more overbanked than an overbanked turn.

Would love to hear what you all think!
If it doesn't include either Roller coasters, Music or Hockey... count me out....
