But its my first attempt in Planet Coaster. I hope we get a video recording system frame by frame like in RCT3.

Wow - its great to finally see this ride in action!!! It feels like its been years since you started working on this and posting pictures. All the motion and lighting is fantastic. Took me a bit to realize what you did for those gold 'pipes'. Nice ride and great work.

The best way to get smoother vids in this game is to use Cheat Engine.

I used cheat engine. But the problem was sth else. It was so slow that the video file was too big for my video editing software.
And because of a shortcut the recording started and the shortcut was also for Planet Coaster. So when it started recording I had to wait until the ride arrived back at the station.

PLEASE PLANET COASTER DEVELOPERS BUILD IN AN INGAME RECORDING TOOL!
LOOK AT RCT3 THERE IT WORKS PERFECTLY

Guys, I have to learn how to make Top quality footage also in terms of recording quality. It's totally different like with RCT3.
But there was a point where you just want to complete the ride and the video.
It will get better!

Who spots the hidden mickey?

Also one question to the AMD graphic card users: which video recording software do you recommend?
I also thought about buying a new computer. What settings would be the best for recording videos and playing Planet Coaster and 3D Modeling?
But I have the feeling that its the recording software. It's fluently ingame but when I start recording there is a bit of lag. Thats because you only can record in real time. I hope they think of people like me. For Lets Plays its good to record with other software but in RCT3 it was perfect. You can make pictures in Planet Coaster but no videos. I wish there would be a recording tool which takes it frame by frame but not in real time. And on a scale: how bad is the lag in video? My projects are important to me. Is it too choppy? And how to solve this?

What a great ride, unique and elaborate.   All the creative ways that you used the spinning wheels to make them into architectural elements... just, wow.  I loved the three launches so much that I wanted the pauses to be longer so I could take in the view some more.  Some great terraforming as well, and towards the end it was nice to take in the natural beauty of the landscape. 

Not a horrible framerate; I've tried to pass off lesser work at much lower framerates.  We were able to see what we needed to see here.  (wasn't looking for hidden Mickeys, but with all those spinning wheels I see plenty of locations where you could've easily staged a few.)

I doubt they'd make a change as significant as video recording this late in the game release, I usually just use the one from whatever video card I have and the AMD is pretty good.  Now I have NVidia though and I haven't tried it yet.

Sorry for the delay. I got the wrong settings in the video editing software! It's not like in RCT3. Please be patient. Dwemer Coaster will be back in operation very soon! (In a few days hopefully) Ingame it runs fluent. No I have more fluent recordings. I didnt had the Full Screen mode turned on ingame!

I echo what JPAlmighT said about the turning wheels/gears being used as part of the structures- clever, beautiful, and they add a lot of visual interest.

The first time through the video I wasn't looking for hidden Mickeys either. So I looked at it again and... I still couldn't find it. :mad:up:  I also looked more closely at your screenshots... nuthin'. That little rodent must be hidden pretty good. Maybe I'll set out a few mousetraps.

It was in my preview test video after the third launch when you look in the sky the clouds.

I have new video editing software now and RCTD! was at my home and we fixed the errors.
I selected wrong display and wrong resulution. Now the recordings are better.

But now the Coaster is completely finished!
Also the music is ready. I'll just change some things and a better upload will follow

Now it´s a way better. The old quality was horrible but now it´s much better. But: some intro scenes are not that good. The first scene has to capture, it must be one of the best things or parts of the ride. The camera has to move. Some other tracking shots are laggy as well, you should use the Cheat Engine for tracking intro shots as well.
The ride is amazing. The launch parts are the best parts and the final part of the layout when you be pulled under earth one time more. The Dwemer power is visible in that ride. The terrain editing is fantastic, it´s close to the original game. The ruins as well. The structures are superb. But I think that the best parts are the indoor parts / parts at night. I love the lighting in the game and think that many buildings are parts would look better by night. I hope you will give us some rides at night in future and darkrides/coaster

Now its time to explain the story a bit!

The first actual thing we see when entering the Ride is the waiting time display and a talking ancient Dwemer head.
At the entrance we have to store our bags and goodies in one of the lockers.
Just scan your park ticket and a locker will open for you. (Its similar to the system used at Arthur,Königreich der Minimoys (Europapark))
After riding you will get your things back at the other side...
There is also a souvenir shop and another shop at the exit.

Then we enter the ride crossing over a bridge. When we look down we can see parts of the second launch.
We follow the queue until it gets down into a tunnel below the ground. There is also the extended queue line. (not seen in the video)

After the tunnel the queue goes upwards to the station. If you look closely you can see the stairs going up at the end brake of the ride...

Dwemer stuff and magical artifacts are seen in the station.

So the ride begins and after the first curve we go into a Dwemer mine tunnel.
A magical sun collector is running and we can hear thunder and energy loading up.

As the sunlight releases, the train goes outside again. A great Dwemer castle emerges and we get caught by a kind of generator.
Mechanical things everywhere. Then the train stops.
With the power of Logans heart we are launched into the rugged rockwork.
Fragments of this forceful artifact are seen on the right side at the first launch segment.

Like a dragon we are flying through the rocks and tunnels. After this part we are going down into another dark tunnel section.
We can see lava and melting minerals. As the train stops for a second time, we see a dark elf holding an electric scepter.
Maybe it was his idea to built this machine. With electrical force we are launched again, now with much more speed.
It looks like a mining facility. Maybe they are building another castle or palace there...
We rush through another tunnel, and then we are outside again, experiencing some great airtime.
When you look at the left side, you can see a viewing platform for spectators and the entrance to the themed area.

And it goes even deeper into underground systems. When we are over the earth again, suddenly the track goes down and we enter another Dwemer mine entrance. There are some magical minerals here! Tension is in the air and the train stops for a few seconds.

Then we are launched for the third time. This launch is the most intense one of the ride (approx. 98 km/h)!
We reach the highest peak of the mountains with a fantastic view. Swirling down again we are passing by the castle.
After another high peak we go down into a tunnel filled with the blue energy, the Dwemer get from the underground mushrooms.
And so we are at the castle village again, rushing into another tunnel section were the train gains some final speed.
Going up again we have a fantastic view of the castle and we can also see the first launch with the generator.

Now we are at the end. The trains are slowed down as we are going into a final rock archway, were an ancient sun clock is rotating.
Underneath us is the queue and we are going back into the station. On the right side you can see the maintenance building.
