Revising an Object - how does it affect subscribers?
« on: February 23, 2019, 04:38 PM »
Has anyone updated an already submitted object to the workshop? If so, does it automatically get updated for subscribers,  and does it reset anything on Steam, besides the object itself?

As far as I know: I was subscribed to an object and it got updated ingame. It was a texture improvement and updated while it was placed. Hopes this hepls a bit to your questions :)

Hi JCat, yes I think RedHair is right...
I did not test it myself, but here is a nice thread about that topic:
https://forums.planetcoaster.com/showthread.php/35179-A-question-for-the-devs-regarding-TMT-workshop-items

One thing I noticed is, that if I update my own *.pcugc files in the local TMT folder, they get removed from any ingame building, park currently.
But that does not mean that is also applicable for the subscribed workshop objects.
A lot of greets, Corkscrewloop :)
