Hello fellow Planet Coaster Lovers!

Time for a new project!

For a long time I wanted to try to make an as dense as possible environment and theme all around that. Well I've been able to make a coaster which is very dense so now comes the challenge of theming it.

Meet Qadira in it's first episode where we'll start theming the brakes, transfer and storage area of the dual launch coaster;

Wow, that's some excellent (and very dense :D) building and coaster.  Such a tangle of track in an awesome cathedral!  Also, great job on the transfer tracks!

I'm a bit worried about the dangling columns in the station, though.  I think it would look more structurally sound if you beefed up the arches holding them up to be bigger than the rest of the arch structure in the building.

Thanks, it's quite a challenge to fit everything together. Will probably encounter that a lot more during this build.

Thanks and it is very dance, glad you like the cathedral. About those colums, one of our workers already died (collatoral damage). Replacement of the arches is on the to-do list but I just have to find the right thing to use. If it is too bulky it will block a lot of the view. But rest assured the wooden beams are placeholders for now  ;)

Hello fellow Planet Coaster lovers and welcome back to another episode of Qadira

So we've got the station building covered but what happens after that. Well this coaster doesn't give you time to breathe as soon as you leave the station and fall down over an waterfall. In this episode we'll start constructing that part of the coaster , cover up some pathing and build a tower.

Exceptional detailing, love all the curved beams, supports, and decorations that your buildings have. Props to you for custom supporting this coaster, the fact that some supports are connected to buildings, or take on strange shapes in order to not interfere, is really what's pulling this coaster's experience together. Curious to see how you plan on decorating the surrounding area.

Thank you so much. With the complexity of the coaster I really didn't have much of a choice, I just have to custom support. But it's fun and I can experiment with them. Let's start with a bit surrounding today ;)


Update 4

Welcome back fellow Planet Coaster Lovers!

This week we'll be starting of at the back of the station by theming the exit and the pit that you can see from there. The track drops down at this point and gets you to the second launch which we'll also be theming. And to top it off we got some big supports in position, I did those off-cam since the recording was too messy.

Thanks, at first they were a bit seperate but adding a few towers here and there makes it blend quite nicely so I'll try to keep it that way  ;)

Welcome back to another episode of Qadira. It's been a while since the last episode because of the release of Society Park but now we're finally back at our multi-launch death trap. This time we're at the front of the station and start theming the queue. We'll also be creating an alley for the coaster where riders will pass about 4 times.

Some really nice shots set amongst some really nice architecture. The purple track works well against the monochrome structures.

Hello fellow Planet Coaster lovers and welcome back to another episode of Qadira.

It has been a while and this was due to me being in Greece for vacation  ;D

But now I'm back and Qadira is expanding it's territory by yet another tower. However this week we dive into the depths as we start theming the base of the towers. This was quite a complicated part because of the track going through several times as you'll see in the pictures ;)

I really like how the trains go streaking in and out of all the archways and corridors. In the next to last shot, I count 5 different layers of track! I love coasters that interact with structures. This looks exciting and fun.

The worst about it is that it isn't even the part of the coaster that has the most crossings. I believe that the one with the most had about 6-7 different layers  :sweat:

Hello fellow Planet Coaster Lovers and welcome back to another episode of Qadira.

We're a bit early this week since I won't be able to upload the video tomorrow. In this episode we'll be turning to one of the squares and build a dome in the middle of it. After that we'll start building a bathroom and a shop so the guests can relax and watch the coaster.

I like how the purple décor in the lower part of the tower echoes the purple of the track. The second to last shot looks a lot like an M.C. Escher drawing; with the castle environment, the steps going at different angles, and the track going every-which-way. In fact, the whole ride is like an Escher drawing. Very nice.

Comparison to Escher, wow thanks  :D That's really awesome to hear. And yeah the purple has to come back in a few parts right ;)

This week we'll be building the biggest tower that will be placed in this build. This is tower which you'll climb up to with a tremendous amound of speed after the second launch . Once up there you circle around to plummet the whole way down again.

This week we'll be returning to a place which we briefly visited in one of the previous episode. The back of one off the towers where we build a small toilet building. In this episode we'll continue our construction there by filling in one of the sides with shops and facades. But there is more coming up, bridges, cliffs, a restaurant and more...

Update 14

Hello fellow Planet Coaster Lovers and welcome back to Qadira.

These past weeks have been quite intense with work, getting sick and my car quitting on me on the highway. So I'm really happy that I've been able to get some work done on Qadira.

In this episode we'll finish the small plaza on which we've been working in the previous episode. Starting with a building destroyed by Qadira which took me quite a bit more time then expected but I'm happy with the result. After that we build a small forrest followed by a restaurant like building to seal the whole area of.

An excellent addition! Makes sense that you would start construction with the crash-through walls(s) and build the structure around it. I like how you used the river rapids ride to create that curved section of whitewater. And those flying buttress arches! They are my favorite part. In fact, that whole section of Qadira looks fantastic. :up:

Thanks and it was about time to add some crash-through walls since it will also be part of the story and there is simply no avoiding it with this build xD More flying arches-like thingies coming up in this episode ;)


Update 15

Hello fellow Planet Coaster Lovers and welcome back to another episode of Qadira

This week we'll be moving towards the second launch and continue our theming there. For this section I wanted to create a gallery from which peeps can view the coaster being launched, soaring up into the sky or see it making its final airtime hill before circling into the brake section.

After creating the gallery I've tied it together with the tower by building walls and towers (no surprise there since this whole build consists of that). The aim was to create a City Wall like feel to mark the end of the castle/city.

Hello fellow Planet  Coaster Lovers and welcome back to Qadira

This week we'll be yet building another tower, another break through wall and a market place in one of the curves of the coaster. It was needed to tie the areas together so that is also where we started in the episode. Still need to tie some things together and build the part on the outside of the curve but it turned out ok.
