Welcome back! Today we explore the Plaza of Imagination

The Plaza is surrounded by trees and colourful lanterns. Magical at night.

Obligatory postcard shot: Starburst taking the centre stage, with the Woosh! roller coaster in the back and Redbeard's Revenge soaring on the right.

Director Jean L'Antern oversees rehearsals for a brand new show at the Barkeys Theatre

Teaser shot... Who doesn't love a good backstage area?

That's it for today - thank you for visiting Park Eureka. Until next time!

@darknight: Much appreciated! Tropic Adventure is one of those rides I'd love to go on myself..

@corkscrewloop: Thank you!! Glad you like it :-) More to come!

@shyguy: Thanks buddy!

@Twisted: Woosh! turned out so photogenic, despite its modest size

@Nemmie: Thank you so much! The foliage is actually really sparse, but landscaping goes a long way :)

Amazing, AMAZING work!

So glad to see you back on this forum! I think I can speak for everyone when I say your pictures tell a story in itself! Can't wait to continue to see the progress of this park!

I am digging this park! Very realistic, the layout seems just right and it makes sense! Reminds me of amusement parks around where I live! Keep it up!

More brilliance from your good self.
And I'm gagging to see a nightshot of that plaza with Woosh in the background. Those lanterns look superb.

You can't fool me, that first shot is a REAL coaster! :D  I think the colored smoke makes it look especially realistic. All these pics look real; maybe it's the lighting at this time of day- lots of dark shadows and bright highlights.

Hi everyone!

Working on Park Eureka is a slow, lengthy process – and I often think about abandoning the project to start something new. But then I remind myself how important it is to finish what you started, especially when there's still so much unbuilt land and an abundance of ideas to tap into. Whenever the going gets really tough, I just 'walk' through the park armed with my little tegidcam. The shot below should keep the creative juices flowing until the next real update here on SGW :-)

@shy Thank you! All glory to ReShade
@JB That shot reminds me of brave knights on horses, in a smoke-filled battlefield
@corkscrewloop Thank you, dear friend!!

Hmmmm.... Those drop towers look closer together than the game should allow.  Well done.

It really is a beautiful shot.

Beautiful nighttime shot. :)  I like the Pagoda ride jutting up in the sunset; like a carousel that spun itself into the sky. I also like the movie titles on the Odeon Theatre, although I can't quite make out the ones on the side panels of the marquee.

Friends,

I bit off more than I could chew. It's been 6 months and I'm not even halfway.
Park Eureka: Unfinished will soon find its way to the Workshop.

I believe there's a finite amount of time one can spend on a project, my guess is 3 months.
After that, it becomes a chore, and the brain wants to move onto something new.

That said, I am mightily proud of the last Image I shared here: The reflection pool with Park Eureka's
impressive skyline is truly a sight to behold.

To sign off, please find an overview of the park as you will find it on Steam in the coming days...

Peace!

No worries at all.  Totally get what you are saying, and by remarkable coincidence, "3 months" is EXACTLY the attention span I seem to have with a single project in this game.  Luckily I can usually always jump into the next project as long as it's thematically very different from my last thing, but sometimes I just plain need a break from the game completely.  With enough time away, sometimes you can come back and pick up where you left off, sometimes you realize you just need to try again on a blank map.  (The ever increasing lag often plays a factor in the new map decision.   :P)

I'll be more than happy to subscribe to what you release and there will still be a lot to explore and be inspired by.  I love that overhead, the parking lot alone is damn near, if not, perfect.

Sidebar:  Didn't you tease a haunted house project?  I do hope you are able to complete that one before you stray too far from the game, the teaser was fantastic and I've been so anxious to see what you were planning to do with it.  [And I don't care that Halloween is over, a great project is still a great project]   :D

Best wishes!
