The Simpsons Dark Ride
« on: May 12, 2019, 05:46 AM »
Here is my first ever blueprint for Parkitect:
The Simpsons "Springfield Elementary School"
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1739408338

It's not 100% accurate but I really like how it turned out!
Mostly made with Shyguy's objects.
It could be used as a train station or whatever you want.
I will probably use it as part of a dark ride or an outdoor car ride...

More to come, stay tuned and let me know what you think!

Finally made my decision: going to be a boat ride!!

First stop: Springfield Elementary School.
Here is the school hallway, next stop is going to be Bart’s classroom and then probably the schoolyard.
Please tell me if you have suggestions of details to add to the hallway because I’m running out of ideas!

This looks great. :)  I can foresee a whole park based on The Simpsons. I hadn't realized that Parkitect's simple, colorful appearance fits the style of The Simpsons so well till now. (I like the basketball on the roof.)

Thanks for the feedback  :-*
Don't know yet if I'll do an entire park but at least it sure gonna be a big & expensive dark ride

Here is a little update

I started Bart's classroom and some backstage areas of the ride.
Also started the "gruyère" / see-through roof.
I was planning on doing a glass roof but it turned out poorly and there was too much reflections!

Don't think I've done it yet: thanks for the sets, there pretty handy!!

That see-through roof is a very clever way to show off the interiors of the ride. Great idea.

The roof works so well with your set, you can do some crazy-ass shapes :w00t:
Today I worked on the backstage storage room, here's what it looks like:

I have a few ideas for the next rooms but if you have some, please tell me :)

I’ve been working on the circus today.
The whole thing actually lights up in the dark (can’t wait to show you!!) and I started some of the backstage areas of the room.

I’m obviously having a blast with this game!!
Let me know if you have any ideas of rooms or details I could add to the ride, thanks.
