[WIP] Thiais Village
« on: January 25, 2020, 04:18 PM »
Hello everyone here in SGW

I have been working slowly since the game's release on a park inspired by the places I visit and the neighborhood where I live (a small town south of Paris)
I am not looking for realism and I do not stick to a particular theme. My park is above all for fun and I would like to have your criticisms (positive or negative) so that I can improve my technique and find new inspirations. Thank you in advance for your feedback!

I like how the chair swing flat ride is surrounded by lush foliage. The large spiral in Gorges Profondes is a striking (and interesting) track element. I also like the colorful geometric decorations on the façade of Neon Drive. The nighttime screenshot of Neon Drive, with the red neon rings captures the futuristic look very nicely. The night shot of your main street with the huge spiral of the coaster in the background looks great. And the colors (aqua and orange- 2nd to last pic) of the castle/manor looks very elegant.
A very nice first project, Mistercg. And welcome to SGW. :)

This is great work.  I love the main entrance, the attention to detail throughout the park, and the landscaping.  Keep it up, and please show us more as you progress with this park.

Thank you very much guys for your replies, I was afraid that the slightly messy aspect could disturb, I am reassured that it does not shock anyone :D
As for the castle ligthning I have set a triggered color change, the orange is good but it might look purple or blue as well.

I'ill post some more screenshotd as I go, focusing on certain area, here I go with the karting

Don't hesitate to tell me what's missing or could be improved!  ;)

Hey MisterCG! Great work!

The night shots with the castle/karting are very impressive.
I have a question by the way, what is the meaning of "Grosse Trace"?

Keep it up!

Hello Everyone Again :)

It's been a while since I haven't come to the forum and I'm sorry, I was busy at work among other things...

Thank you all for your answers, and for you Crazycoaster, the term "grosse trace" is a french pun that I cannot translate..

Today I invite you to discover Les Gorges Profondes, a wooden coaster whose inspiration comes from my holidays where I went canyoning

The coaster seen from afar

The Entrance and the Queue

The platform

The ride

And Finally the transfer track

And that's it, please give me your feedback so I can improve it!

A beautiful and exciting coaster! I like all the water elements placed throughout the ride.
