Oh my. Where to begin? I don't think I can state just "one thing", but: 64 bit architecture, so the game could make use of gazillions of gigabytes of RAM. Utilization of multi-core systems. Better use of user-installed graphics processors (cards). All of those things would pretty much eliminate Lag. Better looking shadows. Basically, Planet Coaster's use of light, shadow, and texture. I don't much like the artistic style of the peeps in both RCT3 and PC. No raining inside of buildings. Interiors of buildings should be nighttime DARK even during the day. The ability to make the cars on coaster trains different colors, like in RCT2. The way that time passes; calendar days last mere seconds while physical days last ~10 minutes real-time. Also, there are no Winter months. There are literally hundreds more, but I've used up most of shyguy's ink on this reply already. So I'll let others chime in for those.
