Hello everyone! So during my free time today, I decided I would take on the challenge on attempting to model the Hershey Park giant wheel ride. This is the final result. Now this model is far from perfect but I think it turned out pretty good.

Now I would like to make this a fully functioning cfr, but the only problem is, that I have no experience in xml animation or making animations for cfr's. If anybody here knows animation, and would like to animate this, I would be more than happy to send you the sketchup file.

Thanks!

Make the magic happen

Benches and Seats

Hey'ya Folks,

Have (again) re-visited SJJr's "Functional Seats!!" tutorial (2013-12-16)... found at:
https://www.shyguysworld.com/Archive/index.php/topic,13358.msg352627.html#msg352627
Luckly I made a hardcopy of that thread, before Photobucket ruined the images.  Makeing
them blurred and non-readable.

Note that I've no experience with the process.  Tinkered yes, but no completed objects.
Ok, here goes.  The instructions if I'm not mistaken, are strictly for FT placement only.
Is it possible to create QT seating?  I've seen chairs, test seats and such.  But is the process
the same for those items?  And are outward facing seats possible?  I've a "maybe" future
project that would make use of outer-edge, outward faceing seating.  But it would also demand
that such chairs or seating be QT.   Can an experienced cs-designer/maker please give me
some helpful input on this issue/topic.

Thank you.

Absolutely no experience here, but I'm pretty sure that outward facing benches/chairs are possible. Vodhin has a set that places usable benches at various angles and away from the path. Here's the CS Depot link:

https://www.customscenerydepot.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=954

Maybe you already have it. I'm not sure if Vodhin's thread is here in the archives or if it was only at the old Atari site. Seems like a lot of useful RCT3 info is becoming lost to time. :(

Hey Y'all,

Just for Shits-n-Giggles !  I was curious.

Gynryk Scrlr set
(Generic Scrolling Sign test set)
For :  RCT3 / RCT3(P)

If you elect to download this packet, please view the whole ReadMe.  Do so
before you fully decide wheather or not to install it.  I recomend Sandbox mode
experience experimenting with this material.

It is my hope that others (and myself), gain some insight about how custom
scenery reacts to/with the described settings.  Of course, you are aware that
Scrolling Signs are interactive.  Not static like standard cs billboards.  So they
are subject to collision detection.  There-by, may not always be placeable where
"we" might want them to be.  Hind-sight tells me... maybe non-diagonal units
may have better served the purpose of this packet.

If you are able to make use of any portion of this set... excellent.  But I make
no guarentees.  It is a Test Set.

Hope you enjoy experimenting around with this collective.

Best wishes, & Happy Gaming.
