QUICK GUIDE:

Add the following text to "C:\Documents and Settings\[your Windows username]\Application Data\Atari\RCT3\Options.txt" to disable scenery-terrain, scenery-scenery, and track-track collision detection:

Quote
AttractionSceneryAllowTerrainIntersect 1
AttractionSceneryAllowSceneryIntersect 1
TrackAllowSameTrackIntersect 1

Important Public Service Announcement: '"LevelTerrainUnderTracks 0" appears to disable the auto-tunneling feature of Wild."'

------------------------------------------------------------

Someone apparently figured out how to get rollercoasters to go through mountains and said to add "AttractionSceneryAllowTerrainIntersect 1" so that rollercoasters could go through terrain in:

C:\Documents and Settings\[your username]\Application Data\Atari\RCT3\Options.txt

I figured he must have gotten the "AttractionSceneryAllowTerrainIntersect" stuff and searched the RCT3.exe file. I found a BUNCH of options that are NOT in the options menu in game, and many that are as well.

The most DECEIVING ONE is "RidesDontBreakDown". It actually makes your rides more reliable, but when they DO break down, you need to delete the ride and rebuild it... the mechanics will never fix them, only inspect. (only happens with flat rides, I think..... I might be wrong)

Here are the three lines that I added to my regular options.txt list.

Quote
AttractionSceneryAllowTerrainIntersect 1
AttractionSceneryAllowSceneryIntersect 1
TrackAllowSameTrackIntersect 1

Here is the entire list..

I have been trying to figure out this for months because I dont have a "Application Data\Atari\RCT3 " folder?
If I do, could someone tell me where to find it Please?

you have to have all your folders, drives, and files unhidden.  then it should be under your c:/document and settings/username folder or your c:/users/ folder

The links above work and will take you to rct3oe.totalh.com/  but the download links on that site will not display a webpage.  This makes the utility inaccessible at that site.

I got a copy of this utility from here

http://rctgo.net/downloads/view/2589

Unzip the folder.  Ignore the instructions in ReadMe (if you follow the ReadMe instructions setup.exe  will attempt to download something else).  In the folder you just unzipped go to the file RCT3 Options txt editor\RCT3 Options Editor_2_2_1_9\RCT3 Options Editor.exe  and double click on it.  This will open the application.  I haven’t yet tested the application but have just checked to see if the application will launch.

Don't know if it's old or recent info but I found another list of options.txt cheats here

Not a Mac user but google did bring up some results. This was posted in 2009. OS may have change since then.

Flags (0 or 1):
DisableAutoPersonInjection 1 : Disables people from spawning (including the park inspector if it doesn't exist yet)
DisableAutoAnimalInjection 1 : Disables animals from spawning (if you don't want ducks etc to fly around in your park)
ShowTrackSectionSymbolNames 1 : Show's internal trackpiece names (TrackSection/TKS names) in the trackeditor. Usefull for CT debugging.
TrackForceCanStart 1 : Enables tracks which usually have no test-ability to test them. Usefull for CT debugging.
DistantMountains 1 : Disables the mountains in the background
DisableHorizonMapping 1 : Unknown, probably somehow related with above

Floating point options:
TrackedRideUpdateFreq 0.0 to 1.0 : Sets the update frequency of trackedrides. The higher the number the more the animation becomes like 'stop-motion'. CAUTION: Using this flag may causes coasters to have extremely high crash rates or to act very strangely.
