To make a piece diagonal, it has to be positioned that way in Sketchup, (or Blender as the case may be). You would need the creator's original model file to make any changes, then the piece would need to be re-imported in the new position.

I have a request if anyone is bored and looking for something to make...conforming ground textures with alpha edges to place under the trees (2nd pic). Pine needles for the pine trees, scattered leaves, weeds and flowers etc for the other types of trees. The alpha edges would be so that they would blend out like terrain textures and not have straight edges like the woodchip covers that are already available.  I think this would help to make the wooded areas look even more realistic (especially having shadows disabled). And some simple footpath ones (1st pic) with footprints and twigs etc that could be placed over the invisible path that blend out with alpha edges. The alpha path covers out there now all have straight edges to them, so you still need to border them with something. And using the invisible path over the terrain textures just doesn't ever quite look right for 'natural' foot paths - like those you find in woodland parks and such.  Thank you ( if you can follow all of that! :) )

Path covers and road pieces  that don't vanish when you pull back the screen view. Why can regular scenery be seen from a full pull back but paths and road pieces vanish when you pull back just a little?

What I personally think happens is that when using .png images it is used for mainly transparent textures for objects, and .jpeg images/textures are used for more of a solid object. Plus when using png textures and having only a single face used like as in path covers and conforming ground textures, then zooming out will result in having disappearing objects.. I think using jpeg images/textures and making sure a path cover should have a top and a bottom to it.. i know, you don't see the bottom side, and adds more to the poly count of the object, but this might be a reason as to not having the zoom out-disappear problem.

Thank you Loundlim, but I think I am going to use this as a catalyst to learn how to make CS myself. I've wanted to learn for years now and there aren't any existing covers out there that match what I am looking for.  I figure this will be a good starting place for me as I will only be attempting to make flat squares to begin with.  Plus I just saw that Old-Spice has a second path set that contains a style that will work great for me as the woodland-type path.
It's too hot up here in the Pacific Northwest to run my PC too much, so I think I'll wait to tackle this project in the fall and maybe have a set done by Christmas....

For my new cso im looking for a confetti particle effect, like the kind of confetti /glitter rain they have at parades or election campaign shows... I have no experience in creating particle effects - would it be possible to do stuff like this with the rct3 particle generator or is something like this already out there?

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

yeah I was thinking something like this at about 8H but with a jack (where the cord would go in) wide enough to fit an ingame coaster track. so 3H in diameter.

I'm from LA, this seems like a great idea. I'm learning to make custom scenery, still a big learning curve ahead... but I would give it a try after I finally make something that works. Haha. Happy walking dead day (s07e03 airs tonight)

Is someone able to make a facade of Disneyland's Penny Arcade with the sign that light's up?

This is what I built with Shy Guy's sets, but did not like it. I tried to make my own cs, but I'm not so good.

The building is 5 squares wide, 11units high (the cornices are the 12th unit) and 3 squares deep.
