I love the grand arches of the Siberian Railway. Also the multi-faceted arched doorway (exit?) to the right.
The Educated Horse sounds like something P.T. Barnum would have on display, right alongside the Fiji Mermaid. Except Barnum was already gone by 1904. Still, I'm sure that horses clomping their hoofs to indicate numbers, etc. had been around for quite a while, and at numerous fairs and exhibitions. Funny how the horses seemed to know only the things that their owners knew.

I think the first pic is my favorite today. It looks like a giant desert snake wrapping itself around a rock formation.
Last pic, musta been a "buy one, get one free" sale on obelisks.   Actually, all those vertical pylons give the shot a striking look.

In the first pic, we get a nice view of the rare (and endangered) Globe Armadillo (Armadillius Globulus). His shell-like armor protects him from the roaming cats.
And in the last pic, we can see a Rocktopus (Octopuseus Stonicus) clinging to that upper crossbeam on the left-side viewing area.   Sorry for the irreverence, I'm feeling giddy today.

Nice walk-thru of the funhouse and hedge maze. The multi-colored spider webs linger in my memory the most, I think.

Hmm. I tried clicking on numerous tabs (Authors, CTRs, etc.) and did not get a white screen. Have you tried using a different browser? i.e. Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and the like? Not sure what else to suggest.

The warm orange-y glow of the lights with the blues of the moonlight has always been a favorite look for me.

When I build things in these simulation games, I also do not worry too much about what is realistic and what is not. They're just points of light on a screen, after all. I try to stick to realism when it's practical because that's the purpose of these games: to create a world of our own and make it seem real. But it's not a hard and fast rule with me.
Besides, I'm sure these are well-behaved cats who have no intention of climbing over the fences. Their habitat looks much more inviting than the paved-over walkways outside their enclosure. The cats probably feel sorry for the humans who have to walk on that hard grassless pavement.

You should open up the 'boneyard' to guests. Add on a $20.00 up-charge. I'm joking, but I'm sure there are some who would pay to see the backstage area. (probably me)

The random path screenshot is well composed. Both, the illuminated tree branches on the left and the tall evergreen tree on the right act as eye-stoppers to keep our attention from wandering off the edge of the scene. And of course, the path itself meandering through the center portion. The colorful lights at the far end lead us onward.

I saw this thread yesterday, but I couldn't get my brain thinking in the right direction. Then citytrader listed his favorites and that got my brain going in the right direction.

So, a couple of my favorite B&W movies are: King Kong (1933); Young Frankenstein, not from the B&W era but a B&W homage to those movies- "Frau Blücher" [cue the horses neighing wildly]; The General (Buster Keaton, 1926 silent) takes place in the Civil War South, but was filmed in a nearby Oregon town (Cottage Grove); and Dr. Strangelove, Stanley Kubrick's scathing take on the military and nuclear war. Late addition: The Man in the White Suit (Alec Guinness).

The patches of snow look neat. I'm guessing you sunk some white rocks into the ground for the snow?

I assumed there would be something named Valkyrie in this part of the park. And here it is! Love the Viking longhouse interior of the station with the warm lighting; as if fire-lit.

I like the bamboo baffles to peek through. Makes the habitat, and viewing experience, seem more natural. Nice idea for the bump-out (or bump-in) viewing area as well.

I want one of those toothy plants on the right in the last pic.
