Title: Future World 1899 -Starting Again....Again
Post by: Hethetheth on December 11, 2016, 02:35 PM
Disclaimer:

Spoiler (hover to show)

The Future as envisioned by the greatest mind of the Victorian Age is on its way! Fly through the air in a magnificent flying machine or rocket across the land on a high-tech steam train; anything is possible with the latest science!

Your point of entry is the magnificent Future Expo hall.

From the outside the hall combines the grandeur of the Victorian era with new technology.

Central Station is the best way to take a train to the rest of the park, though if you want to go VERY fast we would recommend the prototype super-speed-train 'The Rocket', which crests over the station and graces the entry plaza of the park.

Whilst Planet Coaster is amazing, this version of the park will likely skip over dark rides due to the current limitations of the game. I hope however to make it as good as I can!

I hope you enjoy seeing this develop!

Heth.

My god, I am loving this feeling of utopia looking at the park, the gardens in particular. Very nice work with the buildings also. It's a shame that the darkrides are lackluster in PC so far, but I am still excited for more progress anyhow.  :)

well the roof of that hall looks great! Like that! Also the outside with that "garden things" looks cool. Show us some more :)

Hethetheth + Planet Coaster = Awesome sauce! I like what I see so far. I'd like to see more of the great hall that you use to enter the park.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome into the world of Planet Coaster!

I have been working further today on The Rocket's station and surroundings.

The station is where the prototype 'Rocket' train, the fastest train in the world, has been created, and you are taking it for a test run!

Looks nice, I like the vibe of the whole thing, you transported your Future Expo of RCT3 in a great way to Planet Coaster. Hopefully we will be able to create darkrides very soon (-> moving (roboter) cars).

With the addition of billboards and video screens I have been able to revisit this sleeping park. I have restarted it, carrying over some of the old structures and reshaping what little there was of the layout. The park is no longer Future Expo 1893, turning into Future World 1899. I hope to get further with this version.

You can clearly see the improvements in 2017. The billboards are one of the best things that have been added to the game yet. Really love to see that this affects your park as well. Great update!

Hello hello hello everyone!

I have just had my interview to see if I can fully-qualify as an Architect (I find out in 2 weeks time), which means I now have time for Planet Coaster and Future World 1899. I have worked upon some of the rides in the park now, including Autobahn (a car ride), Iron Horse (a launched coaster) and The Rocket (a mine train coaster). Enjoy!

I absolutely loved your RCT version, and now I'm really looking forward to seeing this park come alive in PC.

No one captures this distinctive look better than you! My only tiny little quibble is with the light posts. They seem way too bulky and heavy. Not sure what the solution is, but they just don't really work for me in this setting. Perhaps some gingerbread/iron sort of thing?
Title: Re: Future World 1899 - updated 7th October
Post by: JPAlmighT on October 09, 2017, 08:04 AM
I'm loving the Jules Verne-ness of this all.  Your building exteriors are magnificent, and very inspiring as I'm trying to do a park with similar elements.  Love the contrast between the two main buildings you've shown, very different styles and colors but within the same genre.

Backing up a post to your expo hall renovation...  While it was an improvement, I feel there's a couple of elements in the original that I miss about the new re-do.  I liked the larger glass roof and the large gears on the back wall in the first pic (stealing that idea!) ...I like the light colors in both versions.  But I suppose maybe you could keep those ideas and use them elsewhere in the park, that way no good idea is lost.

I hope you're finding lots of time to work on this because I'm craving more and not a very patient person  :P

The whole overview is really impressive and offers a world to explore. I love all the historical vehicles all around the pathways and the special objects like the creative lamps on the path. But the foliage is placed very good as well and the architecture is inspiring and unique as always.
Both of the coasters make a great background and skyline for the area.
And it is totaly fantastic to see a the coaster POV Iron Horse. Very smooth but intense and funny ride. I loved the top hat on some of the pictures before and it was a hell of fun to ride in now!

Just watched again and noticed more details I missed the first time.  That clocktower made me smile.  I also recently stumbled across a video for the RCT3 version of this park and encourage anyone who hasn't seen that to do so, just amazing stuff that seems to exceed what that game was capable of.

One question, and it's not a critique even though it may sound like one.  Given what we now know to be your profession, the white track on iron horse is an interesting design choice that I'm sure was intentional.  It's not a color I would associate with Verne-era trains or the rest of the palette you've been working from so I guess I'm curious to hear your thoughts on why you went with that...  (Again, please don't take that the wrong way because I have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about and you are clearly a master of the craft.)

Congrats on the job, would love to see samples of your "real world" work sometime.

Thank you very much! I totally understand what you mean about the track colour. The reason it's white was because I wanted it to look new and fresh. I notice that a lot of 'Steampunk' themes tend to have a lot of muted colours and browns, and I wanted to try and avoid that. I tired grey (like a railroad) and it just didn't look right, and nor did green or blue, so I tried white and just thought it looked right!

Future World...1499?

Future World 1899 isn't just for Victorian Visionaries! Just past the Gardens of Invention can be found Port Renaissance, where you can step into Da Vinci's shoes.

I love where you're going with this...  I get that it's just a teaser, but aside from the flying machines I'm feeling like it needs "more Da Vinci..."  I wish I had specific suggestions but I figure you're the professional and I like to be surprised...    Meanwhile, a big YES to the name "Port Renaissance".  Was that in the original version as well?

What an ingenious design, a lift and a splash right next to each other. This is something we rarely see, even though it could be considered as such an obvious choice. You are utilising as little space as you can, while achieving maximum effect - or should I say, impact.
Impeccable pathing, innovative ride design and solid architecture all take this park to a higher level. It's refreshing to see someone stick to good core design, rather than overdecorating every nook and cranny.

I have a new ride to show, and one which shows off a bit more of the park, called Autobahn.

Enjoy

Post by: AemJaY on November 22, 2017, 12:22 AM
the idea of the autobahn is nice, but the upper part for me doesent make "ense" you drive over 2 bridges, just to have a turn at the end and ride back? thats a bit boring i think? maybe you could ad a tunnel at the end in this building right at the turn? so you can ride trough that in a "museum styled room" there you drive trough and on the other side you can come out and drive back over the other two brigeds.

sry i dont wana mimimi but like this for me it looks a bit borng (the track layout) :) hope you understand what i wana say :D

The setting of the Autobahn is so well done. The bridges look unique and great. Such an attraction has to be in every park. The soundtrack underlines and supports the atmosphere and vibe of this attraction in a perfect way. It´s a fantastic addition to Future World.

Hi guys. I've decided to take on board the comments of JayBlastOne. JBO, you are right it is a boring ride! I was looking at the park and thinking that, as nice as the park looks, it just isn't the vision of the future I wanted it to be. It needs more buildings, more futuristic inventions and needs to be less messy as well. So, I am going to save the important structures and I am going to rearrange the park a bit, remake a few of the rides and make it feel like the proper 1899 vision of the future it should be.

As part of this, the Da Vinci River Ride has been removed. However, I have uploaded it to the workshop (with all the old paths of Future World still in the file). I hope you enjoy!

Glad to hear you're going to make some changes. I'm liking this park a lot, but I also thought the Autobahn was boring. I just didn't want to say anything as lately I've been attacked any time I've given negative criticism to anyone. ;) It takes a while to get the hang of PC and to make really impressive parks. I think you're just hitting your stride now and I look forward to seeing the improvements.

Thanks shyguy! Feel free to criticise if necessary,  I welcome opportunities to improve. I won't let the buildings I've already made go to waste, but looking at the rides again I feel that there are missed opportunitit's. I was thinking of addingoing in a car factory portion and city section to the ride to suit the theme more. The park looked nice...just not like the theme should be!

Thanks RCT D!

The reworking of the park is going very well. I'm already much happier with the park, and it's feeling much more compact.

Iron Horse has received more theming which interacts with the ride, in particular this train yard.

Iron Horse and Flying Ace now intertwine and the two areas are merged into one! This area also houses Around the World in 80 Days (the building for which you may notice used to be in front of the Sky Wheel in previous updates).

The log fume is a masterpiece in the way its layouted and constructed. Like Berlin87 already said: Its an ingenius design.
I have the feeling the whole park becomes more modern and like you said compact. That fits the theme very good.
The last shot is really over-whelming. The coaster skyline in the sunset is more than beautyful!

I have done more landscaping around the park:

Glad you found the backup.  Also glad you kept that bridge, I think the new layout for this ride will eliminate that redundancy the first version had (which was really the only problem it had, I think.)

Your dark ride staging and lighting is the stuff of legends, and the last pic proves that.

The ride feels vivid due to the many different effects and animatronics. It´s so realistic, it must be a very tiny hall in which the ride is created but the length is not short anyway. One of you best creations in this game so far, especially the atmosphere is unique. Nevertheless you should record your  video and different tracking shots with the help of the cheat engine to make your videos a lot smoother and get a better video quality. The POV and video is very laggy it feels like it´s about 10 FPS at some parts.

Keeping in mind that I did not hate the first version, this is just fantastic.   Instead of making steampunk the theme, it's being used to enhance a better theme in a way that makes sense.   Love the lighting throughout, loved the fake city, and I really smiled at the assembly line/car painting scene.  It's just all so well done.  It fits this park so well, and it would be a fun ride in ANY park.

Something that's certainly not worth filming another video for:  Maybe use real peeps on the actual ride and test dummies for the assembly line to differentiate the two.  But if lag was an issue I can see why you didn't.

So much better. This is the quality I expect from Hethetheth. :) I loved the painting scene. I couldn't tell if you used two sets of tracks with different colored cars, or lighting to achieve the effect, but it was great.

Thank you very much. It is two separate tracks with different colour cars, though with hindsight i probably could have achieved this with lighting.

Lag has been a bit of issues, so that is why the park isn't filled with guests. I know you didn't hate it, but I must thank you and others for being critical of Autobahn as it fuelled my desire to create a much better ride :)

Double whammy POVs!!!

I have managed to create videos for two rides this weekend. I have made the revised Iron Horse on-ride video following the reconfiguring and revitalising of the park. I have also posted below the video to a new ride: Flying Ace, an inverted coaster themed to Victorian-era style biplanes! Enjoy :)

Now that the POVs have been released, I have decided to release a 'preview' version of Iron Horse and Flying Ace to the workshop. Please note this is not a complete version of the park, and it is just the rides and a few of their neighbours. Incomplete areas are fenced off.

Whilst I'm releasing the file so people can explore the park, please respect the work and refrain from copying structures or rides into other park files. I will release blueprints at a later date for workshop use :)

Enjoy

I have to say that your park is just beautiful! I love all the wide open plazas, the mix of paths, the clever use of completely unrelated scenery bits into a cohesive whole. Very well done. The scale of the buildings is massive, but it just all flows and works wonderfully. Bravo!

You sure like to keep your gardeners busy, don't you? I don't think I've ever seen so much topiary in one park!  :D

I have a new image to share, and one I'm quite proud of. For a while I toyed with the idea of actually making a city scene for the park, but realised the scale would be so big it'd be unrealistic. Instead, I've made a forced perspective skyline on top of the facade of one of the upcoming dark rides (called 'Metropolis').

You themed that flatride in a fantastic way. I tried to theme that ride for the last Summer Showdown so I know how difficult it could be to find an appropriate theme. You had to create an interesting theme so that it fits into your Future World area and I like the outcome a lot.

The entrance facade is just incredible. Very good decision to make a city skyline facade on top of it to keep it in scale.
I love the steampunk theme for the Helion Ring. Totaly creative!
The highlights for me personally are both coaster videos. Each layout is fantastic. The top hat of Iron Horse looks incredible and it´s a great experience to ride it. I know how much pain it is to make a propper top hat like that. But the whole layout fit´s the coastery type perfectly.
The inverted coaster is fantastic as well. Maybe the 1st drop could be a bit more steeper. But espacially the wing over above the final brake run was amazing as well.
The whole park has turned out in to a uinque world of wonders. Great job!

I really like the Da Vinci River Adventure. I feel classic dark rides are brilliant, but using a water based attraction adds more of an old school charm that some parks still have to this day. I will say that this attraction is innovative considering how technologically advanced the entire park is, and I am just in love with all of the details. Amazing creation as usual!

Where would any futuristic city be without its mass-transportation system. Lurking beneath Future World 1899 is Underground Express, where steam-powered Tube-trains navigate tunnels at high speed. Hold on tight and mind the gap!

Hi guys. I have a conundrum.

So, I 'finished' the POV of Underground Express, an attempt at a realistically themed Steampunk rollercoaster in an underground transit system. The ride is based on similar indoor coasters (e.g. Vogel Rok, EuroSat, Space Mountain). I managed to get the ride super compact and 'realistic'. Only problem is that realistic also winds up involving lots of very dark spots with not much to see.

I've put the test POV video below and would love to know your thoughts. Should I sacrifice realism to add in more scenery or is the ride enjoyable as it is? Have I even made it realistic to begin with? Am I being mad???

Hello everyone.

So I've decided to rework the layout of the park and the previous rides ....again.

Yes, I know I do this often, but I just want to perfect this park. Out of the previous rides, only Underground Express will be going across as it is. 3 of the other rides are being remade right now (Iron Horse, Flying Ace and World of Motors) and the other (Da Vinci River Adventure) I'm not sure on. The aim is to make the park more compact and more 'futuristic' and set more in the 'metropolis' theme which can be seen in Underground Express.

In good news though, the new design is work well so far, and I have a work-in-progress shot of one of the new rides: Skyrider.

(the ride building for Underground Express is just to the right, and the building for the upcoming Metropolis dark ride is behind of the left. Metropolis is the centre of the park in the main hub, and one of the aims of this reworking of the park is to bring Skyrider to a more prominent position).

A bit of both! So I set up the lift hill and station, and then built the core tower and secondary towers around those. I then completed the track, having fit it around the first two towers. Once the track was done I added the rest of the scenery.

That forced perspective of Metropolis works so well from street level but still holds up really well on-ride!  Sometimes what looks great from ground level looks a bit corny when on the ride, but this didn't, in fact I think it really helped with the sense of vertigo during the first half of the ride.  The wonderful work just continues in this park...

I've really been looking forward to this, your marketing tease worked out quite well!  :)

I'll admit I was a bit worried that this would overlap against something inferior that I've been working on but luckily the differences are significant (not the least of which is your track has a fantastic flow and a great sense of realism.)  I really love the scale of this, and how you kept the architectural details throughout which had to be time consuming.

Chalk up another win for Future World.  Can't wait to see where you take us next, I'm nowhere near ready to see this end.

Thanks!

I've made some progress on War of the Worlds. I've actually made two versions. One version is part dark-ride and part outdoor rollercoaster. The other version is entirely indoors.

I must admit, as good as the ride is going so far, I am not totally convinced that it fits with the aesthetic of Future World 1899. The park is quite a positive and clean looking park, and I'm not convinced the 'red weed' aesthetic of the outdoor version is appropriate for the park. The indoor version may fit in better as the destruction is concealed indoors, but the showbuilding is HUGE and I'm not sure where to hide it!

I'd be curious to know people's thoughts. Whether the ride goes into the park or not, I will definitely be releasing the ride video, so don't worry!

Contrast is good.  I've made parks themed the same way from end to end and there's only so many ways to make a half-timbered house or a colonial-era leper colony., or even an hodgepodge of 2nd-hand rides with no park-wide theme.  So throw in something different.  Maybe hide the devastated area behind something, but definitely have it ;)

Hmm...I'm still not so sure about it. There is a themed land I was considering making called the 'Outer Limits' which might suit the ride. I definitely think the ride wouldn't fit in with the 'city'/Metropolis part of the park though. Since I'm nowhere near making this area yet, it'll be while before this ride is slotted in if it does go into the park. So far the ride is around 3000 pieces, so it can act as a blueprint. That'll make it easy to bring it in later!

But H. G. Wells story was written at the height of what people now look at as the dawn of steampunk, which leads to the Metropolis feel of the other areas. I think it all flows together very nicely, especially if you add in a segway area, say with an altered psychola ride or something.

Think of Disney Studios, (if memory serves) you're walking down New York street, turn a corner, and there's a Star Wars AT-AT.

If you go with the indoor/dark ride option, I'm pretty sure you'll find a way to make the exterior interesting enough to fit in with the park.  Maybe just a brief outdoor (I think Fisherman calls them a "peekaboo" element) would be cool for riders as well as the peeps on the path outside.  But otherwise, yeah, that last photo convinced me that this is a [mostly] indoor attraction.

Well, there's always that wonderful "time machine" gizmo, so you can have outdoor rides that are always at night as seen by the riders.

I rationalize this by assuming the riders have VR goggles, or there's some other perfectly legit type of stagecraft going on, instead of a violation of physics ;)

Thanks for the feedback guys. I've made a few decisions, though there are still some things left.

I am going to add the ride to the park. What I haven't decided yet is where. I have a few possible ideas. My favoured option is to have it between Flying Ace and Underground Express. This location would mean the large showbuilding is mostly kept backstage next to UE and it means that the outdoor 'red weed' setting is adjacent to another more open area. When I theme the entrance / station I will give it a city theme to fit in with the Underground Express entrance.

The downside of this location is that all 4 of the park's current coasters would be one side of the park and (as you can see) at present I've not developed the left side of the park at all yet, so maybe it could go there. Currently that space is allocated for a train themed area and a car themed area mixed in with an extension of the city theme, but obviously it's not there yet!

Option three is next to Skyrider, but less certain about that.

Well, IMHO it depends on whether or not you want to place to be plausible as a working park, with everything open and peeps flowing as their decision-making algorithms drive them.

If you care about that, it's mostly a function of the relative distribution of the fear ratings and prestige values of rides across the park combined with whether or not kids can ride them.  If you have a bunch of high-prestige rides with fear between 3.5 and 4.5 in 1 area, especially if kids can ride them, then you'll have huge congestion because nearly all peeps will want to go there.  But you can counter this fairly easily with a couple of track rides on the other side of the park.  Track rides almost always have huge prestige (more than they deserve using the same criteria as coasters) and are kid-friendly, so also attract huge numbers of peeps of all demographics.

If you don't care about this aspect, however, then just put rides where they look the best :D.

In other news, I've gone with Fisherman's suggestion and the ride is now back to back with Underground Express in a new area called 'Brave New World'. (Right hand side of the park next to the blue inverted coaster).

Admittedly the left side of the park is still underdeveloped, but I'm planning a car themed dark ride (a remodelling of World of Motors), a train themed coaster (a reworking of Iron Horse) and an industrial themed area with some flat rides. The Metropolis dark ride is still planned for the centre.

I've not added anything like that....yet.

I'm now doing the finishing touches to the ride and working on Brave New World. I will work on the area more once the ride is finished, potentially adding more rides, but for now it's going to be quite modest. The area is just behind Flying Ace and begins to merge in with the city themed areas.

I've done my best to conceal the ride building by placing the entrance far forwards and adding building facades to the showbuilding.

The landing capsule for the Martian invasion sits next to the path / queue for War of the Worlds.

That's a very fun ride.  My only concern is that there's such a difference between the amount of scenery and triggered events inside compared to outside.  Do you think maybe it could use a few more explosions and fires and such outside?

Thank you so much guys! I really enjoyed making this one. I particularly enjoyed the sound editing, which I really felt helped elevate the ride to a full story. For the curious, the spoken parts are from the 1938 Orson Wells broadcast...making this a Jeff Wayne and Orson fusion.

I agree with Nemmie... this would fit right into an existing park, one of the studio parks maybe.   That's why I liked the dark ride interior...  it just felt so realistically believable.   I'm def getting a Mystery Mine vibe as well, in terms of style, which almost makes me wish the vertical lift after the outdoor transition was still part of the interior, (which might add an interesting focal point from the path, and help disguise the building) but what you did works very well.   AND (I'm wordy) totally agree that the sound editing here is phenomenal.  I recognized the Orson telecast and loved the authenticity it brought in.  I give this ride 10 out of a possible 5 stars.  Well done :)

I am glad people are so happy with what they're seeing. It is very much my intention to based Future World 1899 around fantastical inventions and mundane conveniences we have today, but turned on their head to make them exciting novelties.

That video is WAY too much a tease.  You were playing a song I recognized, "Sing Sing Sing" by Benny Goodman, one of my all-time favorites, which I know lasts nearly 10 minutes. so I was expecting a long show.  I hope you do a complete video someday that lets that wonderful piece of music run its whole length.  Surely you've got enough stuff in that hotel to last that long.  Feel free to show the same stuff from different angles if you must, but that song must go the distance :D

The windows opening in the bedroom was awesome :)  And again, good choice of music, Glenn Miller's "In the Mood".  But that song can last 5 minutes or more, not to mention the 10+ minutes of "Sing Sing Sing" in the 1st teaser, so I'm still hoping you'll do a full show lasting as long as those wonderful pieces of music ;)
Title: Re: Future World 1899 - Hotel Futura preview

The 'effect' I was referring to was that when the windows opened, a blue light as a triggered event to act as an ambient light. It's subtle, but I was quite proud!

So far the ride is 2 minutes long; a wee bit short of the 10 minutes hoped for, but I'm still going!

Considering you want a 10 minute attraction, that is spectacular! Dark rides are always great and I know any dark ride you create will be spectacular.

Well, the ride doesn't have to be 10 minutes, just the video, so the whole glory of "Sing Sing Sing" can compliment your work.  So the video can be a combination of POV and external view, just as long as the song can go 8-10 minutes :D

Change Places!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4Te2Lo56kc

I am very prone to changing my mind about projects and wanting to upgrade them. As I am learning Planet Coaster as I build Future World 1899, it tends to result in this project bearing the brunt of this.

I have just come back from a lovely holiday to Croatia, during which time I had a change to re-evaluate the park as it currently stands.

Several things bugged me:

1. As enjoyable as Skyrider is, the best view of it is from the side, which is essentially an unfinished side route alongside the showbuilding of the yet-to-be-started Visions dark ride.

The current 'front' view.

The preferred side view.

2. I am very proud of the War of the Worlds ride, but I am not a fan of the scenery around it and not sure of its position in the park. To be honest I placed it in the park in a haste so I could film and release it. I find the position next to Flying Ace jarring.

3. The entrance 'Expo' building, which pretty, is oversized and doesn't really do anything much.

4. I am not sure where Hotel Futura should go.

5. The current 'Airfield' land is a bit weak. The Flying Ace ride is fine, but that's about it really. It's ok but ultimately unremarkable and in its current position gets in the way a lot.

So, that's the problem, but what is the solution? In some way I am 'starting over' the park, but in reality it's not that bad. I'm rearranging structures and rides really. I will be saving the structures and do a bit of housekeeping to make the park flow better (....again).

1. Rotate Skyrider. The side view is better, so let's make that the front view.

2. War of the Worlds is going to removed from the park for now. The POV is out for people to be enjoyed, but it doesn't currently fit. Once I 'finished' the park my original intention was to do a 'story' where the park adds attractions and expands. My original plan was always to add the War of the Worlds ride as an expansion around year 10. I only changed my mind because I was really desperate to make the idea, which ultimately meant placing it in an odd and originally unintended place in order to complete a POV. It'll reappear, just not yet.

3. The old Expo building didn't do anything, but there was one building that does do something:

Though the dark ride contained within never got built (well, at least not yet) I had a fondness for this structure. My new plan is to build a far more modest 'expo building' with tickets, toilets and information further away from the central hub, and moving the 'Metropolis' building further forward. Rather than having just the dark ride in there, I loved the idea of having an indoor land containing loads of rides. I figure that this can include a car ride, the Cafe Chaos flat ride, a relocated Underground Express and the Metropolis / Visions / Revolutions dark ride within this. I am imagining these rides intertwining.

4. With Underground Express relocated there will be a lovely spot in a prime position where these rides used to be.

5. This land will be remodelled, this includes binning the current Flying Ace. I can (and will) do better, but probably under a different ride name because 'Flying Ace version 3' makes me look indecisive (I mean, I AM indecisive, but no need to let everyone on Youtube know that).

Heth :)

I am the same way. I constantly change my mind and end up having to redo huge sections to meet a certain standard that I set in my mind. Once you start with a vision, you want to perfect it so it kind of causes a chain reaction. Your work is always phenomenal, but it is always good to see a great creator be able to see things to change. Change is good and I am sure you will continue to wow us!

I don't have any problems with the current design, other than I need more.  MORE, I say. :D

Having said that, I like that you are your own biggest critic and that makes you continuously strive to make it better.  And I will gladly accept whatever it takes to keep your interest in this project elevated, because I will never be ready for this one to end.

I have an interview question for you though: What do you use for visual influences on this project, mostly all of the exteriors?  This isn't something that can be easily googled.

/\ A lot of it comes from existing Victorian Architecture, but mixed in with some industrial buildings and the odd steel structures and art-deco details. I'm fortunate that the UK has tons of excellent inspirational buildings for this kind of theme.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

So, the 'new' park is underway now. Things are changing as they go along, as most rides I want to add aren't made yet, but i've got something of a plan. The new entrance is built (as I'm rather fond of it). It's WAY smaller than the previous one, and far more realistic in scale.

You'll see in the background a new ride...sort of. Skyrider was fun, but ultimately quite unrealistic. I decided that the tower portion of it wasn't that great, and I really would rather it interacted more with the park (whereas before it was self-contained). I have decided to combine it with another concept which has been done before: the bullet train coaster (videos released as 'Iron Horse'). The plan now is to have the launched train themed coaster merged with the skyline theming of the Skyrider, and have the coaster after the 'top hat' element weaving around the buildings, which this time will have actual functions and are not just oversized scenery. Means the ride is simultaneously bigger and yet more compact as the space beneath it is in use.

Hotel Futura has been completed!*

Note: You can see the revised Iron Horse / Skyrider ride snaking around the side of the hotel as well in the first bit of the video.

*well, the POV has, technically the queue hasn't been finished, but I wasn't fussed about that being in the POV.

Holy crap, Heth, that is phenomenal!  And you made the ride last the duration of "Sing Sing Sing" with segues into "In the Mood" on both ends.  The music alone was worth the trip but the scenery was phenomenal and well paced with the music.  A tour de force, and even a tour of the scullery ;D.

Ummm....YA! That was astounding!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there anything else in this park? What's your framerate? I know my computer would never be able to handle the insane detail. It's truly stunning!!!!!

I can tell you now that the frame rate was about 10 FPS! The ride was built and filmed inside the park, but even when copied into its own file the main hall scene was CRAWWWWWWLING when filming. I had to film with Cheat Engine slowing the ride down 50% and then doubling the speed when editing the video.

Bullethead: Thank you very much. I must confess Sing Sing Sing was slightly edited down from the longer version but still wanted to keep the pace of it, so I'm glad you liked it!

matejakezman: Thank you for your kind words :)

Here's a little behind the scenes bonus. The ride is surprisingly compact, and pleasingly fits into a showbuilding in the park. Getting all the rooms to flow together without wasting space was quite the challenge (the only 'dead' space is between the main hall / corridor 1 and the roof terrace). Below is a screenshot of the ride with all the roof and ceilings removed, and I've added labels to show the scenes. It also shows how small some of the scenes really are (for example the roof terrace scene is actually quite small).

Thank you all for the comments of encouragement. This is my favourite ride I've done in the game so far and so it's nice to hear those sentiments echoed.

General Update:

Here is how the park looks now:

Underground Express is the only coaster brought in wholesale from the last version(s) of the park. Hotel Futura has been built next to Underground Express.

Rather than having Skyrider and Iron Horse from versions 3 and 2 of the park, the two rides are fused into one - as-of-yet-unnamed - ride which takes the launched section with a top-hat element and train theme from Iron Horse and mixes it with the city-theming and near-miss elements of Skyrider. The track has been built and this will then be themed. Beneath this rollercoaster will be eateries, shops and (if I can fit it in) a car ride weaving under the track.

At the end of the 'main street' section in the middle is the facade for a Revolutions-style dark ride (something I made in my RCT3 years). I must admit I've been putting off doing this ride because I want it to be perfect. It is likely that if I ever get the courage to make it it'll be the last ride in the 'opening day' of the park so that it can at least be the culmination of the work on the park so far.

Revolutions dark ride (RCT3)...a ride I fear I might struggle to improve upon in PC, but it's a challenge for me I guess!
http://youtu.be/lfU7ayAWuBU

Eventually I will add aviation, industrial and 'outer limits' (e.g. space) themed lands, but for now want to focus on this Metropolis section. I also think some gardens might be a nice addition too, as these might fit with the Victorian theming.

That's it for now, have a nice day guys and girls,

Heth.

The other new stuff is coming along very nicely too.

This whole park feels like such a unique spin on retro-futurism. It gives me some Albert Robida-vibes, but it also reminds me of Fritz Lang's Metropolis and the Horizons ride from EPCOT.
Loved Hotel Futura. The design of the ride perfectly fitted both the tempo and atmosphere of the music. I've never seen a dark ride tackle the futuristic Luxury hotel-theme before. At first I wondered if a hotel-theme could really be all that exciting, but boy did you NAIL it.

Also looking forward to seeing what you can do with the Planet Coaster variant of "Revolutions", as I just saw the RCT3 version of it for the first time and was very impressed with what you've achieved there. As someone who's regularly looking at Planet Coaster content the difference of graphical quality didn't prevent me from enjoying that video very much. It's just such a polished design with an enormous amount of detail.

Lastly that overview shot (second picture) from you latest post looks great and makes me curious for a nighttime shot and how you will handle the lighting!

Thanks for the comments guys.

General update today. Here's the headlines:

- I've been filling in the gaps in the Metropolis section of the park. This has involved adding in buildings and interweaving the World of Motors ride into it. The World of Motors ride starts in the 'factory' before going to the showroom and then into the city, but only the assembly line is built so far.

- I was debating putting in Flying Ace from the previous versions of the park, but decided against it. I've done 'flying' themed inverted coasters so often and decided to buck the trend. Instead I'm working on a 'metal forge' themed inverted coaster called Twisted Steel. The ride will be themed to the forging of a 'super-strong steel' (the ride track), starting in the hot furnace before testing the limits of the steel in the high-speed inversions.

- I'm playing with the idea of adding in the newly included 'Peoplemover' style ride that came with the last DLC, but obviously I'd not planned for it, so it may not fit!

That's all for now :)
Heth.

The Flying Ace ride (and the War of the Worlds, and all the other wonderful stuff you scapped) was excellent and I hope you at least put the idea of zooming around forced-perspective skyscrapers into whatever you do next (plus Martian tripods :D)  But that Twisted Steel does look suitably knotted up for my tastes.  I'm looking forward to how you theme it.

BTW, that "forging super-strong steel" reminds me of one of the alchemical puzzles in the Opus Magnum game.  If you haven't played that, I recommend it as it totally fits the steampunk thing of this park.  If you have tried it, was that the inspiration for this ride?
Title: Re: Future World 1899 - Hotel Futura POV
Post by: Hethetheth on October 28, 2018, 03:14 AM
I haven't tried that game (or indeed even heard of it). Despite my use of RCT and PC I'm really not a gamer at all; I'm more just into theme parks. To be honest the inspiration is a bit more generally the Industrial Revolution and Jules Verne / H G Wells etc.

I did an RCT3 ride called 'The Forge' which is essentially themed the same way as I intend Twisted Steel to be, just in coaster form.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-oY0nMfUCA

I was originally thinking of doing an RMC steel hybrid coaster with this theme, however I decided that I'd rather have an inverted coaster in the park at this stage. I rode Nemesis Inferno at Thorpe Park recently during the night and one of my favourite parts is the pre-lift drop into the volcano with red lights and mist, and I thought to myself that would work well in a 'furnace' themed section.

That was fun ;).  And very unusual in having a water coaster in such an environment.  I might give it a bit more steam due to all the surrounding heat, though.  The steel coaster was fun but it might like a bit of smoothing through some of the transitions.

But all around, excellent scenery ;).  I didn't even know we had animated bucket hoists.  Where you get that, or did you somehow make it yourself via a deal with the devil?   :laughing_skull:.

Hi everyone,

So I've made progress with several of the smaller rides in the park's Metropolis area. I have added a Peoplemover type ride around the Metropolis section of the park, which interlinks with the buildings and has some near misses with the Iron Bullet ride, which itself weaves around the city.

A new ride has been built which weaves around the city and Iron Bullet at ground level, and that is World of Motors. This ride is an adaptation of my previous ride of the same name, but this time the ride provides some good views of the futuristic city alongside dark ride sections.

Only a little update today. You guys might remember this coaster from a past version of the park. It's a junior boomerang called Energiser. I do still like it, but it just doesn't fit with the current park (at least not right now), and so I'm putting it on the Workshop as a blueprint instead.

This steampunk boomerang was made for Future World, but in the end I'm not going to include it. However, I hope people enjoy it as a Blueprint on the Workshop :)

As a flintknapper, I'm not ashamed to dig through the debitage of masters in hopes not only of finding a piece of scrap rock I can whittle down into something useful, but also in just learning how to hit the rock properly from the morphology of their flakes.

So yeah, I'll be doing the same with this :)

Another one!

The World of Industry / Industrial Zone land is coming together now:

Even better, Iron Bullet finally has a station, and the ride is now basically complete. I now need to film it and edit the video together, which I'll do some time in the next 2 weeks.

Twisted Steel.

In the Industrial Zone of Future World 1899, the world's leading industrialists have created the ultimate material. Using intense heat they have created the strongest and most twisted material ever invented. Test your metal by boarding the prototype vehicle on the rails of the Twisted Steel. Dive head first into the furnace before emerging into the daylight where you can truly experience the forces this metal can handle!

That's a fun coaster!  I think that after creaking, old, half-rotten, termite-infested woodies, I like inverted coasters next ;).

However, you're a victim of your own success here I think.  Once you get outside and start on the lift, it's all just regular bushes and rocks.  Which is kinda the opposite of a steampunk industrial zone.

Thanks!

I was trying to be quite realistic with the ride which is which is mostly industrial quarry after the pre-lift. However, I can also see that post-Hotel Futura anything I make is doomed to look barren ;). I did you with the idea of including more theming but decided not to in favour of the quarry. I might add to it later maybe.

What should be more themed coming up though is Iron Bullet,  which is also nearly finished and requires filming and editing for a POV.

I'm late to the party on this thread, but can I just say, WOW Heth! I used to follow what you posted on RCTLounge back in the day, and to see you still making stuff in Planet Coaster with even more incredible detail, absolutely incredible. I hope your skills in theme park games can translate into real life success for you because every project of yours just blows me away.

To talk about Twisted Steel, I really don't know too much about steampunk architecture but as far as I can tell it looks amazing. And for a small B&M invert, the layout flows surprisingly well, which is hard to do in Planet Coaster. Well done Heth, keep this park going!

Well, barren wastelands are fine, I was thinking maybe make it look more brutalized by industry.  You know, add a steam shovel tossing dead tree limbs on a roaring fire, strew some toxic waste barrels around, that sort of thing.  I did a whole log flume ride that way once.  After all, the whole point of the flume is to get the logs to the sawmill, which means there has to be a large-scale cutting operation going on somewhere ;)

Yes, another!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Knq0ZtW_Gtc

Iron Bullet is a fusion of my previous 'Skyrider' and 'Iron Horse' rides. The theme of a high-speed launched train is adopted from Iron Horse and the theming of the city is taken from Skyrider. I wanted to improve the ride by merging the best parts of both and I hope you think I've succeeded :).

This park has become such a masterpiece of design. The aerial shots of the park, and the forced perspective used is pure genius. Iron Bullet is yet another masterful design, as is zooms in and out and through the city. Your work is always a joy to view.

I'm glad you've again got a ride that zooms through the skyline, and this skyline is much more magnificent that the original :).  And the thing is, even though the skyscrapers are forced perspective from street level, they still look real size up close.  Amazing.

BTW, the coaster is a lot of fun, too :)

Thanks for the great comments everyone :D

I received a comment on the Twisted Steel Youtube video recently which struck me:

Pascal Gunzenhauser

"It's a great and beautifully themed coaster and i cannot oversee the inspiration you got from Baron and Nemesis. But if i look at it  as an addition to the park, why add another invert? in my opinion a t-rex also fits the theme and would have added another coaster type to the parks portfolio."

Pascal didn't realise that Flying Ace wasn't in the park anymore. After all, why would he? Apart from posting every couple of months that I'm reworking the park yet again it's hard to work out exactly what is or isn't in the park.

I have therefore decided to take trip down memory lane. Here is a quick overview of the versions of the park from the past, what is in the present version, and how we got here.

1. Future Expo 1893

Released rides:
None

This version is the first version made. It didn't get all that far, but you can spot screenshots of it on page one of this thread. It was made before the many expansions and updates to Planet Coaster and is mostly me just playing around. I only include it in this list because it happens to have been where this thread started.

2. Future World 1899 - v1

Released rides:
-Iron Horse (v.1)
-Autobhan

This version begins to become a bit more familiar. The entry ticket booths are made for the first time, and the core colour scheme of the park begins to become apparent. A few rides were released from this version, which were the first Iron Horse POV and the first car ride, Autobahn. Flying Ace is present in the park, as is a first draft for Da Vinci River Adventure, though neither version of these rides is released as a POV from this specific version of the park.

This park was abandoned for two main reasons. The first was that the release of the Spooky Pack meant that Revolutions (a key ride from the RCT3 version of the park) was now possible, however I had made no space for it. You'll note that, whilst not built in any of them to date, all subsequent versions of the park have the facade ready for the ride. The second reason was that the park was not all that 'futuristic' and really I wanted to try and have more buildings in the park.

POVs:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QmfejVNds0

3. Future World 1899 - v2

Released rides:
-World of Motors (v.1)
-Iron Horse (v.2)
-Flying Ace (v.1)
-Underground Express
-Da Vinci River Adventure
-Gears of Power (steam only)
-Energiser (steam only)

This version features space for Revolutions (again, still not even started as a ride!) and has a more built up feel to it. Autobahn has become a more themed World of Motors and more coasters are included. Da Vinci River Adventure was made, but never properly positioned in the park. Flying Ace was first recorded here and Iron Horse was updated as a POV in this park.

To date this version yielded the most POVs and many of the buildings and structures of this version have been carried through to the most recent version of the park. Amongst the structures retained to this day are the Underground Express, the city skyline skyscrapers, the 'refuel depot' snack building, Gears of Power, Turbine and the Revolutions facade building.

The reason for the abandonment of this park is Underground Express and Skyrider. Underground Express was the last ride made and released from this park, and the moment I made this I began to see a missed opportunity for the park to become like a futuristic city and not, as it currently was, a spaced out park. I wanted to make a densely built metropolis with rides mixed together. I started to build Skyrider to make this happen, however I decided that it may be better to start over again.

Worth noting that, whilst I generally re-recorded videos for retained rides when I rebooted the park, Underground Express' current POV was filmed in version 2 and remains this way still. You can notice this in the off-ride facade footage, which doesn't match the current (v4) park.

4. Future World 1899 - v3.

Released rides:
-Underground Express (video recorded in Future World 1899 - v2)
-Skyrider
-War of the Worlds
-Flying Ace (v.2)
-Cafe Chaos (steam only)

This version of the park really amped up the 'city' style of the park as I had desired upon abandoning Future World 1899 - v2. The Skyrider coaster was a great success, Underground Express fit in nicely and even Flying Ace slot into the park well. War of the Worlds was added as a completely new ride as well.

So why abandon it?

The main reason for scrapping this version of the park was a layout one. I wanted the city to really envelope guests, and I wanted the city to feel complete. The Skyrider was cool, but it never crossed over paths or really surrounded guests. Likewise I wanted to movement around the city, like cars or a monorail or both. In the end it was this really killed the park. It was architecturally interesting but sterile. I never scrapped Skyrider because it was bad, but just because I wanted to make it better. Another minor factor was that I was in such haste to add the finished War of the Worlds ride into the park that I placed it somewhere which, in hindsight, was just not great for the 'flow' of the park.

You can see from the overview that rides were already in progress as this park version was ditched. Iron Bullet is in progress, and Cafe Chaos was constructed and released as a workshop blueprint. Both of these would find there way into the next (current) version of the park.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57Jz9KOOAfc

5. Future World 1899 - v4

Released rides:
-Underground Express (video recorded in Future World 1899 - v2)
-Hotel Futura
-Twisted Steel
-Iron Bullet
-Gears of Power (steam only)
-Cafe Chaos (steam only)

As you can quickly see, this park is a lot more compact than previous versions. Rather than have the Skyrider coaster on its own, its replacement (Iron Bullet) soars over paths, a car ride and above and under a peoplemover style ride. This is really what I wanted out of the 'city' themed section. Underground Express fits in quite close to the newest dark ride, Hotel Futura, and they are both tight with Iron Bullet and the city theming. Cafe Chaos has a home in the park now too, as do the previously created Gears of Power and Turbine from Future World 1899 - v2. World of Motors (similar to the one found in Future World 1899 - v2, but goes around the Metropolis scenery) and Magnet Rail are nearly finished and should be released in a few weeks/months.

I won't pretend I'm totally happy (let's face it, I'm never completely happy), but it's much closer. I'm still uneasy with how the two dark rides block expansion to the right, which annoys me a bit. I also think the industrial section (of which the only POV is Twisted Steel), is a bit half-baked at the moment. However, both of these things aren't critical, nor do they require the overhauls which have happened with other 'issues'.

POVs:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKsM-fITi4Y
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zj5KLcGiH50
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nc2N3SdsGuU
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Knq0ZtW_Gtc

The plan now is to reach a point of 'opening' the park with 10 or so rides finished, and then expand it with other rides, many of which are already planned. Things like War of the Worlds may reappear later, but don't fit in with the 'opening' of the park.

The big elephant in the room at the moment is Revolutions. I have every intention of making it, but I'm scared to start it! This might sound mad, but I'm so determined to make it perfect that I'm nervous to being until I've found the perfect way to make it. I'm essentially delaying it until I've had enough practice and enough DLCs have been released to make it fantastic. Whether I get it to open with the park on 'opening day' I don't yet know. I feel I should start it really!

I enjoyed seeing all the early versions, and how this park has changed and improved over time. It's obviously a labor of love, and a bit of an obsession too I think. ;). I look forward to the day you finally open the park and I can a stroll through it in person. That will probably be v99, at the rate you're going.  :P

I'd definitely call it an obsession.

I think psychologists would have several other names for it, most ending in "-osis" :D.

I certaily hope you can find a new home here for War of the Worlds, which was totally awesome, and that you don't scrap it all again because, while you've definitely improved the park over time, I find the current version totally good enough and just want to see the whole thing finished so I can download it ;)
Title: Re: Future World 1899 - Iron Bullet POV
Post by: Hethetheth on December 23, 2018, 03:40 AM
I am fairly certain War of the Worlds will eventually re-appear in the park. There's a planned section of the park I'm provisionally calling the 'Outer Limits', which I'd like to contain War of the Worlds, Sub Terra (a Journey to the Centre of the Earth themed dive coaster) and Lunar Voyage (indoor launched coaster). Neither of those last two have been started as I definitely don't plan them to be in 'Phase 1' of the park.

I've done some layout changes, though mercifully this is all within the most recent park file and not a complete rebuild ;). I've moved Cafe Chaos to the left side of the park to clear roof for an expansion path and an additional ride where Cafe Chaos used to be. I've also moved some of the 'Industrial World' themed section away temporarily to accommodate for another new ride.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

Those two new rides are Sky Wheel and Roller POSTer.

Sky Wheel occupies a portion of the Cafe Chaos site, allowing for a larger expansion path next to the ride. I really liked the idea of a ferris wheel in the park, and you can even see the ferris wheel build and themed but not yet placed in the above 'before' image. Originally I wanted it to be wanted it to be a in park/festival type area, but I decided this weekend to put it in the city instead.

Roller POSTer came completely out of nowhere. I had decided I wanted to expand the Metropolis area since I was relocating Cafe Chaos, but hadn't really thought of what additional rides I could have. I sat down with a pen and paper and noted down what mundane activities might happen in cities that I could turn into quirky steampunk rides, and thought of the idea of a high-speed delivery service. Think Amazon on wheels, flying around skyscrapers and up to apartment doors.

Good choice on the ferris wheel location.  I think it fits in perfectly.

That Roller POSTer is hilarious.  I love those big cargo cranes on the roof.  Your description of the ride reminds me of the delivery system in the Earth Kingdom cities in the "Avatar" anime series, too.

Hey guys, not quite an 'update...more of a 'down-date'. I've decided to remove a few rides. Twisted Steel and the unfinished World of Motors. If I'm being honest, both rides were slightly weak. World of Motor's main issue was that it greatly restricted expansions and its removal means I can add in more smaller rides.

As you can see here, the left side of the park is now wide open for a proper Metropolis expansion.

This leaves the current roster of rides as:

- Iron Bullet (will receive new theming as it bordered World of Motors)
- Hotel Futura
- Cafe Chaos (still likely to be moved)
- Underground Express (ol' faithful still remains)
- Magnet-Rail (will receive an amended layout)
- Revolutions (facade in place, yet to be started though!)
- Sky Wheel

As you can see, it's not the largest list of rides, so I have a few which I'd definitely like to try and add back in for 'Phase 1':

- A car themed tracked ride (I just love them and really want to put some back in)
- A carousel
- A drop tower
- Another dark ride.

Sorry for the weak update, as you may have seen Spectre is keeping me occupied!

Heth.

Long time no see SGW!

I have been incredibly busy in my personal life, and also spent a bit of time on Phantom Factory.

Recently I have begun reworking the park yet again. Twisted Steel met its end (RIP), as did a few structures. Rather than bore people with tiny changes that occurred over the last few weeks I thought I'd let things progress further and then post once I had something more concrete.

Iron Bullet has had its station repositioned and layout amended. The reason for this is to put its station building in a more prominent location. Now the station is immediately visible when you exit the entrance hall / covered entry. I have also changed the layout so that is goes over more paths. You will also notice that there's another inverted coaster visible. This is a new flying themed coaster  which soars over Iron Bullet and interacts with buildings in the Metropolis.

Image is 'Work in Progress'

On the opposite side of the main plaza is a new structure: the clocktower.

Image is 'Work in Progress'

Other changes in progress:

- Revolutions' building had been amended to add in more 'rustic' colours, as have other minor buildings
- The entrance hall / covered entry now has exits to either side in order to enable easier expansion.
- The inverted coaster, now in the location of the former Iron Bullet station, has a lengthy esplanade leading up to it, which will form a flight themed area.

That's all for now,

Heth out. :)

I'm engaged rather than married, and if anything I'm probably the patient one of us haha.

With rides and parks of other themes I'm less fussy because I'm just happy to release rides. However, futuristic themes (and also haunted theming) are my favourites, and so I'm always striving to absolutely perfect them. I guess if I wasn't so picky I'd have finished this by now, but in the end I enjoy working on this.

Post by: Hethetheth on August 18, 2019, 03:05 PM
The future can be changed!

Future World 1899 is a pet project of mine (/obsession) for YEARS. It is a park themed to a retro-sci fi as imagined by the Victorians, a theme I've been exploring for literally years. I keep starting and abandoning different 'versions' of the park so often that I've lost track of which number I'm even on by this point.

I finish rides, record POVs and think I'm on to the 'final' version, and then I look back and eventually conclude I could do better. This often means chucking old recorded and released rides in the bin. It also often means scrapping EVERYTHING and starting again.

A couple of months ago I decided to do just this....again. I abandoned a park which took months and months to make and started again, piece by piece. I thought this would be risky, maybe a bit mad. At the risk of boring everyone by presenting yet another new version of the park, I decided to keep updates to myself for a while until I reached a certain point.

Today though I am pleased to be able to show you the newest version of Future World 1899. This time I really have binned virtually everything, starting all but a few small structures and objects again in their entirety. I am pleased to say that I feel this decision was a good one, as I feel the park looks much much better.

Ooh, both versions are beautiful and exciting. The new (latest ;)) version is still recognizable as Future World 1899. Mainly by your building style, but also because of the juxtaposition of the Victorian structures with modern coasters and such. Will there be another Hotel Futura?
Title: Re: Future World 1899 -Starting Again....Again
Post by: Hethetheth on August 19, 2019, 01:22 AM
Hotel Futura will actually be the only ride carried over exactly as it is, though the exterior may change. It's a rare ride where there's nothing I want to change internally!

Underground Express survives...sort of. I've merged the themes of Underground Express, Skyrider and Iron Bullet into one train themed mine train ride with the interior dark underground themed section and a big outdoor section going around skyscrapers and buildings. It is called Metropolis Express.

Man that looks amazing! I can't even imagine scrapping the previous version of your park. Although I have to admit there are some clear improvements.
First in the architecture with the Deco windows, that look so much cleaner than the previous buildings.
Secondly that first shot is incredible and it really shows how nicely the coaster flows around the city. It makes the previous version's coaster look stale in comparison, but I'd never have noticed it if you didn't go around and make a better one.

Looking forward to seeing your progress and happy to hear you're keeping Hotel Futura as I think it's an impeccably designed ride.

The flying coaster is perfectly integrated into the town. Looks fresh and unique. GReat style!

Long time with no update! Went to Phantasialand recently and felt inspired to weave a multi-launch coaster through Future World 1899 as well as a flying coaster.

A view of the Taron-inspired ride's second launch, which is below the building level. The ride weaves above, below and even through the buildings.

Looking at these great screenshots again, I'm noticing that the faded salmon-pink color on the building facades fits the concept of your park perfectly. It works really well with the brickwork and the aqua trim.

This is on another level now. That second launch is a perfect addition. Love it.

Thanks everyone!

A bit more of the same. No new rides, but adding more scenery to those I do have.

First time seeing this project, I must say the scale and attention to detail is truly amazing! The whole area you created feels totally immersive and packed with details in every direction. Keep up the good work!  :)
