I found the issue.  :D  I had to disable load balancing for the forums. Search functions, including viewing new posts, should all be working now!

The default theme is the mobile theme. We moved from a VPS server, which got way too expensive, to a shared server. It's a top tier shared server, and a site like this with light traffic should not need anything more than that. I still don't know why the search functions aren't working. Still looking into it, but we may just have to live with it.

Thanks for letting me know. I'll look into it. But to be honest, I'm not sure there's anything I can do as I believe the server disables certain scripts to keep the server load down.

Community Chat / Forum Changes Revised
« on: June 23, 2020, 09:00 PM »
As many of you have probably noticed, there have been some changes to the forums. Do to server changes, I had to update and re-install the forums. Nothing ever goes smoothly, as I had to make several changes due to the fact that some of the mods and the old themes are no longer compatible with the updated forums. The classic and dark themes were completely broken, and I tried and tried to get them working, with no success.

After much re-configuring and re-installing over again, I finally decided to revert the forums back to the pre-updated version. This fixed the classic and dark themes! :D

During this process, I moved all members to the newer Default theme, as it was unaffected by the changes. So if you were using the classic or dark theme, feel free to switch back. You can choose which theme you want to use by either going to the Home page and and using the Theme Changer (at the top of the left column), or go to your profile and change the theme by clicking on "Look and Layout" under the "Modify Profile" heading.

One change that remains is that there is no longer an actual front page. I kept getting errors. So now, the home page shows all the boards of the forum, as well as the Theme Changer, Links, and Recent Posts on the left column. When you click on the Forum tab at the top menu, or simply go to one of the boards, the left column will disappear. Everything else should be working the way it always has. If you notice anything that isn't working correctly, please let me know.

When I saw the thread bumped, I got very excited!  ;D

It would be a shame to let this beautiful park remain incomplete.

Have you considered coming back to this project? Or perhaps at least releasing what you have accomplished?
I won't release it in the unfinished state that it's in. It's doubtful that I will continue to work on this, as my creative juices just aren't flowing. Maybe in time I'll get inspired to work on it again, but I'm not making any promises.

I have re-uploaded the InstantJungle set to the CS Depot. It includes the installation readme and the .bat file you need to install.

Planet Coaster Parks / Re: Holliday Harbour 2019: Krampus is here
« on: December 16, 2019, 06:59 PM »
I just watched the Krampus and coaster video. Great job on Krampus...a dark and fun ride. The music you used for Krampus was perfect...Christmas-y and yet dark. Actually, your choice of music for both rides was great. My favorite part of Krampus was the peeps trapped in the cage. Very funny and clever. Excellent job, as always.

I'll watch the other two videos later, when I have more time.

Krampus seems to be awfully dark material for the bright and cheerful Holliday Harbour.

But I can't wait to see it.  ;)

You've done an excellent job at capturing the look and feel of downtown Kathmandu. It must have taken forever to find images to fill all those billboards!

Of course! The screenshot of the waterfall and the snow obviously pointed to the fact that you were combining Holliday Harbour with Expo City. (sarcasm intended). :P

All humor aside, I look forward to seeing where this goes and hope your pc can handle a large, multi-land park. ;)

I was very much aware that you had not posted in a while. I was hoping you had gone on a vacation or a cruise, but also worried that you had taken ill. Very sorry to hear it was the latter. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I hope you get to be feeling much better very soon. Your wit and inspiring comments are sorely missed.

Some VERY imaginative work here. The exteriors look great, but I especially like the interiors. You may play them down, but I think they're fantastic.

Maybe I'm a bit dense, but you'll need to explain the "twist".

Zephon, I have added your Ghosttrain to the CS List. As to your problem with the CS Depot, I don't know why you are having problems, as it is working fine for me. I have tested it on several different browsers, including my sell phone. I wish I could help.

VERY nice job. Is this going to be the beginning of a zoo from you, or just a blueprint only?

That last screenshot looks like a painting. It's simply beautiful.

I can add it to the CS List. I just need to know the name of the set in game. JB, you mention it having the same name as the Haunted Hotel ride and in the Other Rides category. Is "Haunted Hotel" the name that shows?

Great job on this little park. The themeing of each land is just perfect. Nothing is overdone, with just the right amount of details in each land. I'm especially impressed with the park map. It's so professionally done, that I thought there must be a real Fabuland somewhere and you used their park map, downloaded from the internet.

Fabuland is just fabulous!! :D

Very ambitious for your first project in PZ. Hopefully you don't get overwhelmed or overly frustrated and give up, as I am very much looking forward to seeing this progress. I'm surprised to hear you are running out of room. Are the maps in this game smaller than those in Planet Coaster?

Planet Zoo / Re: What did you just do in Planet Zoo?
« on: November 11, 2019, 12:12 AM »
I knew you'd be enjoying this game, Jay, as you've always been good at creating landscapes. And one of the main things to do in Planet Zoo is creating environments for the animals (and zoo grounds).

29
More gorgeous screenshots of a gorgeous park. I especially like the shot with the helicopter.

I feel like I'm not getting the full effect of the screenshots because it's scrolling off the page -- if you add a "width=850" to each image tag they'll fit on one screen...
That's a problem with the Classic Theme. It has problems re-sizing images from Steam. The new Default Theme re-sizes all images correctly. If you insist on using the old Classic Theme, you can right click on the image and select "View Image" to see it re-sized to fit the screen.
