This park is so beautiful.  The amount of detail is incredible.  I love the claustrophobic feel of the little alleys and the theming in the queues and everything.  WOW!!!  Oh...and your idea for making a Rotor ride?  We're totally going to steal that for Rose Lake Park.   :mad:up:

5
Ha ha!  Now they know our secrets.

Okay, guys...you're in for a special quarantine double-whammy surprise!  Both map 2 and Episode 2 are BOTH now available!!

Rose Lake Park, 1900-1909 (map 2) park file available here on the workshop:  https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2033221513

Created by: Fisherman, Wagi, JPAlmighT, Wolf Tenor, Bullethead, BeyondDrewTV, and citytrader.

This park map represents the second chapter of the journey chronicling the life of Rose Lake Park from its humble beginnings as a picnic grove at the end of a trolley line near Peepsburgh in the heart of Plancovania, to the world renown destination amusement park it is today.

The park requires several billboard images and several custom sound effects tracks for the map to run correctly. Please download them from our Google Drive. Place the contents of the file "RLP 1900-1909 User Media.zip" into your User Media folder and place the contents of "RLP 1900-1909 User Music.zip" into your User Music folder BEFORE opening Planet Coaster to ensure that everything works correctly (you should hear sounds all around the park, especially around the lakes and the hotel):

RLP map 2 User Music: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1lc1ZuCsspwOHL64zDzgRL81sqXx7thAT

We have and will be using many blueprints and TMTK items throughout this project and we wish to acknowledge the wonderful content designers for their work. We will be adding links to their work to collections which we will continually update here:

Rose Lake Park Blueprints: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1955781929

Rose Lake Park TMTK items: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1955773510

We strongly suggest that you allow the game to download the required toolkit items for you upon loading the park.

Also, the park has a hilarious, and often sordid, history. So, if you are a park history buff and have a junior high sense of humor, follow along at the Plancovania Historical Society's Blog page for the park here: https://roselakepark.blogspot.com/

Hmmm...Were Fishington and Wolf friends, best friends, or "super-best friends?"   Discuss.

Leroy Boone looked an awful lot like Channing Tatum...and that's not a bad thing at all...

15
And....won't be too much longer for map one to be released!  It will cover 1890-1899!

Here's a little teaser from an old archive video reel Mabel Mabel had:

16

saw the "advertising" on twitter (Thnx Fisherman?), got back to sgw (long time no see). read the whole thread! found it: A W E S O M E! Great work so far!

Thanks, man!!  Glad you're enjoying it!

So I am a bit confused...or I missed something. Is Wagi working in conjunction with you on this story...or did he just go rouge and is doing this on his own? Either way, great stuff here, both the park work and the story.

Ha ha.  So far there are five of us building on the park and working on the project:  Wagi, WolfTenor, JPAlmighT, Bullethead, and me...plus citytrader is consulting with his first hand knowledge and personal memories  ;) .  And BeyondDrewTV plans to build when the park progresses to later decades.

23
Citytrader had them all in his own personal photo albums  :w00t:

That's GORGEOUS!

28
Thanks!  But I can't take credit for the story and book pages.  They are the work of our most talented bear, Wagi!

29
Oh that's the work of Wolf Tenor, JPAlmighT, Wagi, and Bullethead too! Plus some consultation from citytrader!  :D

30
The hotel gardens include the Stanley Conservatory - such a beautiful structure inside and out.

And up near the main trolley station, don't miss the lovely Rose Lake Carousel.

Rose Lake Park lies on the shores of Rose Lake, Lake Leemay, and Lake Raamaw.  The views are breathtaking.

The area wildlife include bears, wolves, deer, swans, ducks, catfish, eagles, crows, loons, beavers, and many others
